Coop! This is the shit us home gym owners love to see! Yes we enjoy your $7000 product reviews....but reviews like this is what got me into this channel 3 years ago
Preach
I have this in my garage. A lot of versatility added and takes up zero space. Really happy with it
Where Is the price ?
About 1,100 to 1,300 depending on the amount of weight you get. I got the lowest stack and it’s plenty of weight
@@kevinmahoney5939 thank for the answer. Good workout with its
How is it for late pull downs? Any issues with getting a bench close or anything like that?
@@davewilkes9138
I do them from the floor. Ill try the bench and let you know I have added a few new attachments to the system which allows me to do even more exercises. So tricep ropes, single ropes, curl bar, close grip for pulls. Really happy with it. I do mostly crossfit and oly lifting but use this thing to supplement almost daily
Great review as always Coop. Nice to see manufacturers innovating and coming up with products to serve more niche buyers.
Hey Coop - Great review. I purchased this and installed it a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it.
One thing I want to add to your review - not sure if it was mentioned in the comments, but with the long straps on each side - you can adjust the handles on straps to any height you want not just top and bottom.
The pulleys are always top/bottom but the long strap and handles allow you to pull/push from any height. This feature makes it a lot more versatile. Actually its a pretty great feature that probably kept cost down.
Just wanted to put that out there.
I have this and am very happy with it. I use a small corner of my garage for a gym, 10 x 8 ft. And I sometimes need even that space for temporary storage. This was exactly what I wanted. I have a prx fold up rack on one wall, the Amazon version, and this Anker 3 on the other wall. It’s the perfect slim setup. I use it mostly for back and arm exercises, have done leg/glute and chest. It’s not great for chest flys as Coop explained. And you cannot do weighted pull ups, it will just pull you into the uprights. But regular pull ups work fine. If you have tons of space, of course you would not get this one. But if you want to park your car in your workout space, or have a small multipurpose room/apartment, this is perfect. Put this next to a prx or space saving rack and you have everything you need.
Really nice to see this is only like $1300 with the full stack, that's actually really awesome!
Love to see the more space and slightly budget friendly options being reviewed!
Nice functional trainer. Many home gyms have specific attachment points, so this is not really a problem. The adjustable rail attachment points is a "nice to have" feature. You can almost always adapt your exercise to the fixed attachment points with a little thought and ingenuity. I'd weld up a cross bar with two attachment points so you get the full weight of the stack. Nice review, and more in like with what home gym owners like to see.
No adjustable pulleys is a no go.
I'm currently thinking of a way to attach the pulleys THROUGH the upright of a prx wall rack to make it adjustable.
Can you explain what you mean? I'm in a wheelchair, so I need adjustable pulleys so I can reach them on my own.@@BenjaminDavisMusic
would love to see the review of their F9 wall mounted functional trainer... I really wish the anker 3 would have more handle / angle adjustments
I love my Inspire SF3 which you guys haven't reviewed, but I know you did one of the other Inspire functional trainers. The SF3 was really easy to assemble because the hard parts were pre-assembled by Inspire.
What about the archon weight stack? Love to see a review on that one!
sold my rep ft 5000 and went with the xmark functional trainer. a decision I still don't regret 3 yrs later.
Weighted pull-ups, yes, and I also like using functional trainers for assisted pull-ups by getting my feet in the straps when they are set high.
If this has adjustable pulley points I’d buy it today.
yeah, I'm kind of surprised they didn't do that. Doesn't seem like it'd take more space.
@@paulwhite9242 They did do it without the pulleys moving. The long straps handles allow you to use it from any height you want.
Like it!, i want that !,to add on my other garage wall. To maintain the Garage/Gym convenience. 😊
Hi Coop thanks a lot for that. Anker 3 has nailed the sweet spot between storage and versatility. TORQUE is just out with Anker 7. same principles, upgrades delivered. Still to be tested. Any review on Anker 7 on the pipeline. Thanks a lot
Love the videos. Any ETA on Major Lutie power cage review??
Love the standing lights. Mind sharing a link? 😄
Great for what I’m looking for👍🏻
Id love to see fuctional trainers that are similar compared like REPs to Titans
Please review Major Lutie PLM03 power rack/functional trainer! I'm waiting on your review to buy it!
Definitely what I imagine for my little space. 😊
I just bought this unit and love the compact wall space, this gives us so much more floor options in our exercise room for it to be a multi-functional room. Went together nicely and the directions were very good and easy to follow. Now it's put together, BUT... I really wish there was an Owner's Manual that showed all the different routines it can do. Many will be basic but I'm sure there are many that I'm missing because of not having this manual. That being said, do you know of a manual that may be similar to this style of unit that I can download and use to help guide our complete workout routines? Does anyone know of a manual out there? TIA
Coop, could you do an in-depth review of the CAP barbell fm905q? I’m thinking about getting one and im curious to see the quality of it
They could have made it wider while keeping the shallow depth for space savings.
Love this for our single car garage. Think it’ll work for someone that’s 6ft. tall? For things like tri push and pull downs, lat pull downs, etc.
Do you think there will ever be a weight stack + trolley arms + slinger combo?
Trying to essentially have a functional trainer within my monster rack.
(Bought a year before the rep ares came out 😢)
Please review a Leverage Gym from someone like Powertec or Bruteforce. 💪
The Archon dual cable station weight stack is superior to this one IMO. Yes it only has a single column, but it's an adjustable column unlike torque's. It also has a heavier stack, is narrower, and has a shallower depth. I have one and it's great.
The 1:1 ratio when using two handles is why I prefer single stack
You should review the cable equipment from Archon
The fact the attachment point doesn't slide to other positions is a deal breaker
Not needed as you can adjust the straps/handles to other positions.
Coop, could you review the Torque Anker 7 that was just released?
Heck ya skinny functional trainer! Gotta keep my garage gym’s feng shui in harmony!
Nonetheless the absence of adjustable height for the pulleys is a deal breaker for me.
So what if your garage is cinderblock. Can these attach and be just as solid? Thanks Coop!
U would need concrete anchors and it would be “rock” solid😂
Hey Coop! Torque Fitness recently came out with the Anker 7. Are you able to provide a review on that one? Trying to decide if I should go with that one or spend a little more for the REP Arcadia which seems super legit. Thanks!
I was thinking about getting a single stack bells of steel tower, with the possibility of getting two to eventually replace my pr-1100. Would you guys do that, or get this and a PRX/other folding rack? I do have space now but I move every three years so don’t want to go too crazy until I settle down for good.
I love the compact size but lacks the height adjustable/width for chest flys. This takes up less foot print than my barbell holder, I really like this but I already have my rep ft3000.
I suggest having a look at a Finnlo Bioforce.
Would it be possible to mount this to the back of a Rep PR-4000 or PR-5000 rack instead of bolting to a wall? Maybe with two rear base stabilizers (one high, one low)?
the weight load is on those two steal beams right? the stringers are there just to attach it but not taking the majority of the load right?
Bulldog gear in the uk makes one thats ajustable and has 2 110lb stacks and is less than 5inch in depth
Ngl this is a complete game changer
Great product
please review marrs bar 2.0
Want to know what is the weight of the whole Anker 3 frame? As I need to watch out for the floor loading capacity on my 4th floor condo, so need to calculate the frame + the stack I choose to see if my floor capacity can handle this plus my other gym equipments
Having only top and bottom options for pulleys reduces the functionality. The left and right post seen to be ideal placement for adjustable pulleys. Maybe that will be an upsell option.
Would love to see a comparison of Maximum Advantage Grip attachments vs the knock offs. We need to know if it's worth the money and which ones are best to get
It’s worth the money if you want to support an American made small business vs Amazon Chinese knockoff….. I bought the MAG grips and they are great
@@gibbygordo yeah I have two of them but would like to see a full review
I wonder if this would fit inside a wall mounted pull down "power rack"
Wish it was available in Europe. We need a small functional trainer in our fitness room - due to lack of space.
Give us the Major Lutie review!
In my cart right meow.
Could you do the Titan Fitness Nemesis?
If you’ve ever moved a functional trainer… this option immediately gets more desirable!
More info on the inspire ft2
what about the inspire ftx?
Would this be ok to put on a 2nd floor of a house
Where’d ya get the light sabers?
Why no price for each product in their site?
ATX has a wall mounted functional trainer which is as slim as this.
Coop can you please review the Anker 7
In the works! - Coop
When Ancore Pro review?
Can you review XEBEX functional trainer😎😎💪💪
If you have the clearance, two titan towers and just use your own plates.
Nice
You could technically put 2 or 4 eyelet bolts into a stud on either side and give yourself 2 extra middle heights for extended pulleys though. You just get some additional nylon wheels off amazon and carabener and some extra wire to run through them but yeah, a total oversight. Hell they could have built in 2 additional middle height connection points. Then sold a kit! Come in torque, do better. For what it is, a bit spendy.
Would love to see a review on the force USA g3 vs other brands with similar multi functional set ups!!
Might be a great product but why not just list the price on the website?
Using the lower pulleys and pulling the arms up toward the sky targets the upper chest, not lower chest and Vice Versa, using the high pulleys and moving the arms downward like on a cable cross over, this targets the lower chest. Just letting you know for the future because you really are gonna want to get this right. Take Care
Why don’t you ever mention the Force USA functional trainer. I’ve had the Monster G3 for over 3 years and I think it’s a awesome functional trainer and budget friendly at least when I bought mine in 2020.👍🏼💪🏽🏋🏽♀️
Tesla Model S Refresh 🚀🚀🚀
The number one feature that's important on a functional trainer is width. This has too many compromises.
Body Solid PFT 100 IS THE BEST VALUE FUNCTIONAL TRAINER
Or for those in an apartment
Bulldog Gear Zero 2 is its competition
Doesn't allow me to purchase it.
spend the money on one with adjustable arms. YOu'll have it for life.
Just get a Pr-5000 with Ares or Athena
Not really a FT more like a high/low row.
If this had a moveable pulley system, it would be just about perfect. With them being fixed, I'll pass.
Bulldog Gear Zero 2 is significantly better than this, and it has a smaller footprint. Only available in the UK however.
Tesla? Coop I think I have to ubsubscribe....really😢
I really dont like this design. They missed out on so many possibilities without changing the footprint much if at all.
0:22 0:23 "Functional training" has been debunked. See: Drew Baye.

Disliking every video that shows a product that doesn't show a price before asking for my details.
🚨New Catchphrase Alert 🚨
“Bury the lead” in three videos in a row
Lede
is a terrible design because you have to sit on the floor to do pulldowns? you cant do pec flys, cant do proper rows as you sitting on the floor? and is $1320 for the 200lbs
Wrong! You don't know what you're talking about.
is overpriced for what it is and what exercises you do lol
Tesla? Really?
this thing is pointless
If you buy one of the compact bodysolids you'd have 100x this piece of crap.
Would you not max that out in like 2 seconds?
I've never considered a functional trainer because I don't have the space for one. But I do have space for this. Hmmm...
