I need your help to make this live stream huge! MSI is an amazing sponsor and they sent me a whole PC to show you all how to build your gaming/streaming PC. Please join if you can. If timing doesnt work catch the play back! Really would appreciate your support in making this big! ruclips.net/video/83HpxwLbt6E/видео.html
I had to add: less fun for the competitive multiplayer community, who care less about historical accuracy and more about balance and interesting gameplay/mechanics. Spaghettilines made controlling space/manoeuvring way more important. Having more mobile units than your opponent would have an impact on your strategy since the battlefield was 2-3 times as wide. Aside from that, it made charges way more impactful, which added an interesting dynamic to the game and it enabled cyclecharging, so you'd always have something to do, something to micro. This is just in short, but I assume you get my drift.
Heir Great video as always and I haven't played rome 2 in a while either but pretty sure thessalian cav is heavy sarrissa is the light shock cav your thinking of unless they changed it.
I was watching all ur old Total war rome 2 battles. Didn't think u will ever return to this game after countless spamming of Warhammer videos. This video is most welcome and i hope u will upload more TWR 2 videos in the future.
@@jacksmity Even though I'm not really invested in Warhammer I admit it's alright and I enjoy the dwarfs but I can also understand his POV too since this is a more historical total war channel over fantasy.
I thought that Pergamon would win since they had superior infantry all round and at the start they seemed to outnumber the Eperus player. I also struggle with axe infantry as it seems in a campaign they get chopped to bits but this was a nice battle to see them used really well.
The tactical picture is so much more boring here, w/o magic and monsters and lords and whatnot. Still, cool battle. As a huge Antiquity nerd I approve.
love the vids heir watch them all the time but repeatedly calling Pergamon Pergamene and calling Thessalian cav light cav dampens the otherwise great commentary on these videos! minor sticking point though, love the vids
Does someone wants to play with me rome 2,i am using evolve program so i can connect to other players like i am using LAN,and thats 'cause i am poor fella with cracked version of rome2 :P
Yeah I'd like to try some historical games. My first TW game was actually Attila, but I didn't find it very welcoming to newcomers and only ended up playing like 7 hours of it. Tutorial was bad and I didn't enjoy it enough to bother learning. Played a lot of Warhammer 2 now though, so I've been meaning to give it another shot.
@@Malus1531 Warhammer is just better in replayability, performance, mechanics, pace, depth of strategy, ect. I think Three Kingdoms will bring many much needed updates that will hopefully make it competitive with Warhammer
+HeirofCarthage Yeah I could see that being the case. Honestly Warhammer is enough for me for the foreseeable future, I might just stick to that. I've put in 200 hours (which isn't much for some I know, but for me it's my most-played game) and still haven't played all the Warhammer 2 races, let alone the Warhammer 1 races and various LL's of each. If I ever get through all that content, Warhammer 3 will be out by then.
It's always interesting to see how many different views exist in the TW community now. I loved Attila and Rome 2 (apart from performance which is "outside" the game) while I don't enjoy the Warhammer series as it feels laughably overexaggerated, flashy and shallow to me. For Attila or Rome 2 i really recommend looking at the Steam workshop, there are a lot of great mods (Divide et Impera, Radious etc.), that could help you change aspects of those games you don't enjoy :)

Epirus wins a Pyrrhic victory. That's fitting. Good battle overall.
We gotta see ONE (count it) ONE SUEBI BATTLE....... (just one...)
I'll try to send him a replay.
So much more fun to watch without spaghetti line.
Couldn't agree more
So much less fun to play without spaghetti line, though...
+McJohnssonTB how would it be "less fun" though?
Slower gameplay, less skill to win, some factions are almost useless etc .

Its been a long time since I watched a a video of yours, but finally back and seing Rome 2 made it even better!
Lol Heir, why are you calling Thessalian cav light cav, it is in R2 as well as historically a heavy shock cav unit, a Poor man's companion Cav.
God I loved this game. Haven't played any total war games in about 2 years.
With all the updates R2 received, we need more online battles like this one.
Oh yeah! Big fan of the throwback Thursday’s!
Agrianian axemen in Rome 2 battle? Clap to morr :P .
Heir Great video as always and I haven't played rome 2 in a while either but pretty sure thessalian cav is heavy sarrissa is the light shock cav your thinking of unless they changed it.

Yeah, how dare someone put up videos on their own channel that you don't enjoy. HOW DARE THEY! Everyone should do things just to appease you.
Why too much butthurt boiis? I ain't gonna edit or delete what i wrote.
@@waqarsaleem8611 Bitch, you're the one crying about someone putting up videos you don't like.
Nice to see Rome again
Finally some rome 2 battles!

Maximus did a good tip video on how to use them. Makes agrianians very very useful units especially for epirus shitfantry roster
was nice seeing a battle where the lines weren't spaghetti.(like old rome 2)
*sees title* “Heir why do you bring 2 wet noodle factions on your first Rome 2 online battle in years!?!?”
Is Heir bouncing his feet on his desk/chair? I hear some deep thumping noise throughout the video.
nice video heir. Make more rome 2 battles
Yes, Heir, do more of this!
I mean, just see all comments. ;)

Does someone wants to play with me rome 2,i am using evolve program so i can connect to other players like i am using LAN,and thats 'cause i am poor fella with cracked version of rome2 :P
Kinda hard to follow the historical battles, a lot of the units look the same. I've only really played Warhammer 2.
Yea it is different than Warhammer for sure but very fun in its own way if you haven't tried it :)
