So, I'm giving this one away an will buy the AmazonBasics one, which comes in box shape.

After sealing were you successful in cutting out the individual smaller items proving they were individually laminated ? And did you water submerge the finished products to test for perfect seal?thanks
I've been looking for a laminator but can't justify spending the $ when I don't laminate very many things. So I just take my stuff to office max when I need to. Thanks for the tutorial. Will consider this if I decide to get one.
Nice tutorial. I made the tn with bonas tutorial and i found that if you cut too close , with time the pouch will seperate. Just my experience. I figure l have like 100 pouches next time i will just make one at a time. Its worth it since you put some much effort into the projects. Tfs hugs Carmen
“Allegedly”, the sides of foil is better for whatever. Who cares. The texture side of vac pack bag goes down for a proper seal. Do these pouches have side for up or down.
@@uniquewhimsy622 You have to have an laser printer (because it uses toner) to print the text or design. And then you use deco foil on top of the paper and run it through a laminator. There are videos here on YT showing exactly how to do it. :)

The acidic plastic will run the photos and make it difficult to scan in the future

Nalenka Sims you can trim to a little wider than 1/8 of an inch. That's the width of the sealed area.

Yes, I think it's slightly wider than an 1/8 of an inch clearance that you have to leave because that is the sealed part.

My laminator won't pull what's to be laminated through. The blue light is on that shows it's ready and I can stick it in, but it doesn't do anything.
This is a 9” machine but Scotch makes a 13” machine too!

You can use a little stick glue on the back of the small ones the holding place why you are laminate
Possibly, but you may see the glue afterward.
