Thanks! This enabled me to replace a water line that somehow had developed a pinhole. My LG/Kenmore has an ice maker so instead of 1 water line there are 4(!). I think what happens is the water goes from the intake valve up to the filter back down to the valve then back up to the door dispenser or the ice maker (whichever has opened a valve). It looked a bit more complicated than I wanted to take on - especially since the service manual barely has any information on the setup (pretty much just part numbers).
This video gave exactly the information I needed, even if it was for the less complicated non-ice maker variation.

I was having leaking under my Samsung side-by-side. While replacing the water inlet valve, the water dispenser line running from the valve came loose from the refrigerator when I pulled the water inlet valve out to replace it. Now I can't get the line hooked back together as there is a little cover over the location where it came loose. I'm trying to figure out where the other end of the line is to replace the whole thing and get more length on the tubing to connect it. I'm assuming it goes to the filter. Is that correct? Would your instructions here work?

I finished the job, only to find a new leak where the short blue line comes from the filter to the connector elbow... leaks at the elbow. Disheartening. My fridge has a locking cap at this connection. Shut off water, unhooked it at the spot (water drained out), pushed it in tight as far as it would go again.. put locking tab back on.. still leaks. Have no idea why. The locking tab is very loose... tried flipping it on the other side. Could it possibly be the locking tab? Ordered all new parts for that connection.

muy bien todos los tips que dan, pero no pude ver mi problema que no me sale agua por el dispensador, hay una manguera obstruida, en algún lugar, porque el agua pasa hasta llegar a la unión de manguera en la parte de abajo de la puerta izquierda.

I put the hoses in the back of the fridge back together and now have a leak from where the small blue hose attaches to the elbow. Any ideas what may be causing this?

Great video. But I need help in changing the water line which goes from the top of refrigerator to the door water dispenser. There is a pin hold right where the pipe goes into the door on top. Please let me know the part number for the water pipe and if you have any instructional video on that area or any written instructions. My Kenmore refrigerator model is 795.71013.011. Thanks a bunch for all your help.

On my LG there is an electrical assembly, holding the fridge lights, that the water filter holster assembly goes through, and it seems like there is a flange that catches so I have to remove that assembly to get access to the back of the water filter. I can only find two screws and have already removed them. Still doesn't want to come out. Any ideas?

That line feeds the ice maker. Remove the plastic cover on top of the fridge on the ice maker side and you’ll see it. What I did was pull the line from top of the fridge, cut it, use a coupler and fish a new line to the back of the fridge and use another coupler on the back of the fridge; it takes 10 minutes and it’s the fastest solution. I didn’t even bother trying to disconnect the line from the ice maker side...
