I have this same engine in my CrossKart, and although I fully built the entire CrossKart myself, I had no idea how the air filter came out of the engine! Thank you for the video!

Glad it helped! A kart with the 636 in it is pretty wild. I bet that thing rips!

Thanks for the video .. I didn't know how to remove the actual filter so your video was a great help.. thanks. Would love to see more if you still have the bike. I am looking to remove the rear shock and fit an 09 zx6r

Do you have to remove the whole tank or just that front cover?

What products did you use because that looks really clean

Just to preface that air filter had only been on for about a year I believe with not many miles on it. I just cleaned it because I had everything else a part. I wanted to give that little bit of info just so I don't give the impression that what I used is some kind of miracle cleaning product. I just used some Spectre Air Filter Cleaner I got at Advance Auto with a filter I had in my old car.

Good job! I've had a brand new K&N filter for my bike sitting in it's box for over a year now. I've just been too lazy to break the bike down and install it. Like you said, that's the worst part (getting to it)! lol

It's the worst part for everything. My next bike will be a naked standard just so I can at least do an oil change without having to break down fairings lol.

That, and you can just pick it up and move it anywhere you need to

how long do you have this bike? km? What issues did you have with it?

I've had it for 3 years, but it's about 11 years old with around 15k miles. And, knock on wood, no issues so far other than regular maintenance.
