I have only just acquired an air fryer and wanted to try this recipe as it is a cut of meat I really like but most traditional recipes need two to three hours of cooking. Tried this today and it was a great success! 😃. My air fryer only goes down to 150° but the recipe turned out an excellent dish so I will definitely repeat this and recommend this recipe to my friends. Thank you.

Bavarian/Franconian Style is to First make Cuts into the slap and then stew the slap at 80 degree celcius in salted water in a oven first. So you lay the meat with the slap Side into the salted water. The water should Cover the layer of slap only. Then you bake the meat at the usual Temperature in the oven.
I’ve worked with many chefs who has different backgrounds in here Australia. So I’m not a super specialist in 1 cuisine, but I can cook almost anything 😉👍

I don't cook (or use) a lot of salt--what does the salt do for the cooking process, or is it primarily flavour? Basically, I'm asking if I have to use as much, lol, especially if you just crack it off anywa

you can use Avocado oil. That is a good oil with high smoke point. I personally for health reasons stay away from seed oils like vegetable oil and canola oil. They are very inflammatory.
You can get the same crackling, but the flesh is depends on the texture of your liking. So if the crackling is done but the flesh isn't cooked enough, cook on low temperature (140-150℃) until it's done to your liking 😃

A little tip Score the rind crosswise and place the pork belly with the skin side in brine for approx. 2-3 hours, but only the skin side. Then continue as shown.
Do you think air fryer is a great kitchen product investment? I love fried food as much as the next Asian, but I also care about my health as I get older.
If you usually serve up to 4people, air fryer is a great investment😄 On top of the healthy benefits, I also use it for heating things like frozen chicken nuggets instead of traditional oven. It heats up much quicker than traditional oven, and release excess fat during cooking. But traditional oven has much bigger capacity, so if you have big family or usually serving large number of people, air fryer isn’t big enough to cook all in once. If you buy it, My advice is that buy the biggest capacity one. It’s always better to have more space rather than not enough😃 Hope this reply helps!!😄👍
Very true what was said. I, myself invested one since 10yrs ago and can prove what they say is true. Cleaner kitchen, save electricity bill compared to oven and lastly cook faster and the meals successfully done
The tin foil tray ended up full of grease, cooking rather than frying the bottom. Had to put it on a grill to finish the meat, but the crust turned out nice. Although I made a mess with all that salt. Mine didnt come off that easily and really decided to stick to the crust... Any ideas?
If your pork was really porky, put some fresh thyme on the bottom of the meat. Or splash of white wine also help removing the porky smell. Hope it helps!! 😎😄

Almighty God said
Next, we will talk about the cycle of life and death of people who FOLLOW God in God. This is RELEVANT to you, so LISTEN carefully. First think about what categories can be divided into--the people who BELIEVE in God and the servants. FIRST we will talk about the people CHOSEN by GOD, of which they are FEW. 🌷
What is meant by "God's CHOSEN PEOPLE"? After God CREATED ALL things and EXISTED mankind, GOD CHOSEN A GROUP OF PEOPLE TO FOLLOW HIM, and CALLED them "God's chosen people." 🌹
There is a special scope and importance in God's choice of these people. The SCOPE is EVERY TIME God DOES IMPORTANT WORK THEY NEED TO BE ATTENDED---where that is the FIRST of the things they are special about. And WHAT is their SIGNIFICANCE? God's choosing them means that they HAVE GREAT importance. Which means, God WANTS to make these PEOPLE WHOLE, and make them PERFECT, and after His management work is finished, He WILL GET these people. 🙏🌷
So, these CHOSEN people have this great importance? So, these CHOSEN people have great importance to God, because they are the ones God WANTS TO ACHIEVE. 🙏
As for the SERVANTS---well, let's first LEAVE from the NATURE of God, and let's FIRST DISCUSS their ORIGIN. The literal MEANING of "servant" is one who SERVES. Those who SERVE are TEMPORARY, they DO NOT DO IT FOR A LONG TIME, or FOR A LONG TIME, but are TEMPORARILY HIRED or ENCOURAGED. Most of them are CHOSEN FROM PEOPLE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE. They CAME to the EARTH when they were COMMANDED to PLAY THE ROLE of SERVANTS in God's WORK. They may have been AN ANIMAL in their PAST LIFE, but they may also be one of those people who do not believe. Such are the SOURCES of SERVANTS. 🔴😪
Let's go back to GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE. When they DIE, GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE WILL GO TO A PLACE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM NON-BELIEVING PEOPLE AND DIFFERENT BELIEVING PEOPLE. 🔴
This is a PLACE where they are ACCOMPANIED by ANGELS and MESSENGERS of God. Although, in this PLACE, GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE ARE NOT ABLE TO SEE GOD WITH THEIR OWN EYES, IT IS NOT LIKE ANY PLACE IN THE SPIRITUAL KINGDOM; it is a place where this portion of people WILL GO AFTER THEY DIE. When they DIE, they too WILL BE SUBJECTED TO A STRICT INVESTIGATION by the MESSENGERS of God the PATHS that these people TAKED in their ENTIRE LIFE in their BELIEF in God, whether TRUE or NOT, at that time, EVER AGAINST GOD, or CURSEDHe, and whether or not they DID commit serious SINS or EVIL. This INVESTIGATION ANSWERS THE QUESTION if the PERSON will LEAVE or STAY.
WHAT DOES "leave" REFER TO? And WHAT DOES "remain" REFER TO? "Leaving" refers to whether, based on their BEHAVIOR, they will abide by the ORDERS of God's CHOSEN. 🔴
To "remain" MEANS they will REMAIN IN THE MIDST of the PEOPLE that God is MAKING PERFECT in the LAST DAYS. 🙏
For those who stay behind, there is His work, God will send such people to act as apostles or to carry out the work of reviving the churches, or serving them. But men who are capable of such work are NOT often RE-INCARNATED--MAN as opposed to UNBELIEVING people, who are BORN AGAIN--AGAIN; rather, they are RETURNED to EARTH according to the REQUIREMENTS and STEPS of God's work, and NOTthose OFTEN re-incarnated as HUMANS. So are there different rules when they reincarnate--human? 🔴
Do they come that often? They are not. What is its BASIS? It is BASED on God's WORK, the STEPS of His work, and His NEEDS, and there are NO rules.

I don't cook (or use) a lot of salt--what does the salt do for the cooking process, or is it primarily flavour? Basically, I'm asking if I have to use as much, lol, especially if you just crack it off anywa
It dries the skin so as to make crispy cracking later😉

you can use Avocado oil. That is a good oil with high smoke point. I personally for health reasons stay away from seed oils like vegetable oil and canola oil. They are very inflammatory.

You can get the same crackling, but the flesh is depends on the texture of your liking. So if the crackling is done but the flesh isn't cooked enough, cook on low temperature (140-150℃) until it's done to your liking 😃

A little tip Score the rind crosswise and place the pork belly with the skin side in brine for approx. 2-3 hours, but only the skin side. Then continue as shown.
Do you think air fryer is a great kitchen product investment? I love fried food as much as the next Asian, but I also care about my health as I get older.
If you usually serve up to 4people, air fryer is a great investment😄
On top of the healthy benefits, I also use it for heating things like frozen chicken nuggets instead of traditional oven.
It heats up much quicker than traditional oven, and release excess fat during cooking.
But traditional oven has much bigger capacity, so if you have big family or usually serving large number of people, air fryer isn’t big enough to cook all in once.
If you buy it, My advice is that buy the biggest capacity one. It’s always better to have more space rather than not enough😃

For crispy skin. If you do not add a layer of salt, the skin will be harder to bite.

The tin foil tray ended up full of grease, cooking rather than frying the bottom. Had to put it on a grill to finish the meat, but the crust turned out nice. Although I made a mess with all that salt. Mine didnt come off that easily and really decided to stick to the crust... Any ideas?

I tried this, but the pork meat turned out really "porky", it still had a lot of strong porkiness odor in the meat. How to get rid of the porkiness?
If your pork was really porky, put some fresh thyme on the bottom of the meat. Or splash of white wine also help removing the porky smell. Hope it helps!! 😎😄
I have seen Chinese chefs recommend shaoxing wine to get rid of the porky smell/taste specifically when cooking the pork egg roll fillings in the US.
