    Great work. Love the vids. Whose 2K poly is this? I also assume the dining room table is off the gun. It looks great. What is your best method for avoiding debris when spraying and drying a table in the horizontal position? Cut and rub is always an option with high gloss, but that looks like about semi gloss sheen (?) and untouched. Thanks for making your videos.

      Thanks for the kind words Dave 😊🤝. That’s Milesi 2k poly. And acrylic 2k from Milesi as well on the table top. My best advice is to go with less air, if possible . that creates less air movement above your finished piece, less chances for the dust to settle. So airless is a way to minimize the risk. Or spray water all around to tack the dust down. Make sure you have filtration on your airline if you go with hvlp . That’s what I can think of 👌

      @@KonstantinUdalov Thank you. Milesi solvent 2K correct?

      In my booth with the air fed mask - yes I use solvent 2k poly from Milesi.

    Nice job and explanations! 👍
    What are the references of your professional 2k isolator and 1k isolator? Do we need to sand before application of the isolator?
    Thank you!

    • @KonstantinUdalov
      @KonstantinUdalov  3 года назад

      absolutely - sanding with 180 grit is crucial . isolator is a clear isolating material that lock down any kinda oils dyes or contamination that we have on the surface. Isolante is another common name. it's a polyurethane based product.

      @@KonstantinUdalov Thanks! 👍 Which one do you use?

    Could you also use Vinyl Sealer instead of the Isolante?

    • @KonstantinUdalov
      @KonstantinUdalov  3 года назад +1

      Absolutely. Just use Formaldehyde cartridges on your 3m mask. With the 1 component isolante (isolator from ica ) - regular organic cartridges is enough. Shellac based bin as I mentioned would work too.

    Hi. Can i ask, when you are spraying 2k with hardeners through an airless, how do you go about cleaning the machine properly? Cheers

    • @KonstantinUdalov
      @KonstantinUdalov  3 года назад +1

      100% Acetone for solvent based and 50% acetone and 50% water for 2k water based poly 👌👍

      @@KonstantinUdalov would it be a good idea to buy an airless specifically to run 2k like I do for solvent based coatings? Or can I use my water based sprayer for spraying 2k?

    • @KonstantinUdalov
      @KonstantinUdalov  3 года назад +1

      @@lexandersantana8089 you can use your wb sprayer - just make sure it's solvent resistant so you can use acetone to clean it (if its like a magnum graco - it's not solvent resistant)

      @@KonstantinUdalov thanks i really appreciate the advice. I want to try them out through my airless but a little nervous about the cleaning aspect.
