I swear I saw you at ATL TSA and you were on my flight to DTW to see friends for the holidays! I got star struck and was too nervous to come up and say hi, but I'm a huge fan of your videos, especially as a 2nd generation Delta employee, now living in Atlanta. Thank you for your loyalty, Jeb. You are the best part of Delta.
@Jeb Brooks Thanks. I'm not a member of flight crew. I'm with our Reservation Sales and Customer Care team. I honestly didn't want to embarrass myself if it wasn't you. Next time, if I'm so lucky, I'll be braver.
My worst delay on Delta was JFK to SEA, the pilot called in sick at the last minute. The replacement pilot got stuck in traffic because it was right around the start of the evening rush by the time we were supposed to board! 3 hour delay, but they somehow made up an hour in the air so we were only 2 hours late. They also made everything other than alcohol FREE on the flight as compensation!
My Dad was a Captain for NWA. I grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis. It was so fun to see most of the NWA hubs. MSP is my favorite. Whenever I’m in MSP I can feel my Dad, I know he is nearby. I can remember the red tails in the air. LAX is my second home, awful airport, not such a great city, but amazing people and culture!
As an employee in DTW, we'd love to have you back! Note: on the advertisements in the jetbridge when boarding a Delta flight, take a look for the one with the "This is what see you soon looks like." The model in the advertisement is the Daughter of one of Delta's flight attendants who (the daughter) sadly passed away a couple years ago. Every time she (and those who know in the Delta family) board, it's a touching tribute that was completely coincidental.
It still amazes me that you can literally go from one coast to the other and back in one days time. It makes me think of Lewis and Clark and also all the people in wagon trains back in the day. They never could've envisioned such a thing.
Congrats on 500k MSP is the best airport, and the view you get going west is incredible! I flew from MSP to PSP and got the most amazing pics (I got to do some fun math too). But that brings a delayed flight story: we were early but there was a plane at our gate still. Then they couldn’t get the fuel over. We spent over an hour on the plane just sitting at the airport with no clue as to what was happening.
It's worth mentioning that each Sky Club at ATL has slightly different hours. For early morning flights, plan to stop at T Gates just after TSA. That club's open at 4:30 a.m. or if you have a late night flight plan to stop at Concourse e Sky Club. That Club closes at 11:00 p.m. or thereabouts.
So happy you did Delta hub hopping. I'm completely loyal to Delta. I am in a wheelchair, and Delta treats me like a princess. They usually give me a row to myself, because my medical appliances can't be stored in cargo, they have to be with me. Delta will frequently give me free upgrades, too. I've never had another airline do that. I go out of my way to be polite and friendly to the cabin crew. In return, they give me extra drinks, and they're always sneaking me more Biscoff, yum. They also come chat with me a lot, which is very kind. Why would I want t want to fly any other airline?
This put a MASSIVE smile on my face. So good to see Delta's staff being so compassionate go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and a positive experience. This is 100% what the industry standard should be!

Did the Delta Hub hop last May. Route: Den-SLC-SEA-LAX-ATL-JFK-DTW-MSP-DEN. But, took a 3 day weekend, had to visit each Skyclub in every hub. It was fun. After seeing your version, thinking about another go at it, but I want to include BOS and LGA. Enjoyed it!
Ever since you did your United Hub Hopping Video I was always interested in what a Delta Hub Hopping would look like, but I was also adding LaGuardia as a hub which made it a lot more confusing to see how it could be done
It's so fitting that I watched this video on a Delta flight from my home of MSP to Frankfurt Germany the other day, while using the free Wi-Fi for SkyMiles members! Great video, Jeb! Hope you visit MSP more often!
Your map with all the Delta Hubs clearly exposes their biggest coverage issue: the Southwest. They said Austin was their only "Focus City" post covid but as a frequent traveler from from AUS I have not seen any new flights added since covid. Always enjoy your videos.
My delayed crew story. Flying from LAX to SEA. Passengers boarded and settled. The cabin crew ready for take-off announced a delay because the flight crew delayed on the inbound flight. Flight crew arrives and heads for the cockpit. Captain announces, Sorry for the delay, we’ll be underway shortly for our flight to Minneapolis. As one, the entire passenger cabin rises, everyone think they've gotten on the wrong flight.
Great video!! I was literally typing a comment asking about the omission of the Boston hub when Jeb preemptively addressed that critique around 17:00. Thank you for acknowledging that Boston was indeed upgraded from focus city to hub a couple of years ago. In another iteration of this trip, it would also be cool to see if an itinerary could cover Delta’s LGA hub in addition to the JFK one :).
@@steelers3814 I agree the distinction of “legacy” hub seems subjective. But I think Delta upgraded Boston to “hub” in 2019. And Seattle was already sort of a hub when Delta inherited it from Northwest… it was one of Northwest’s gateways to the Pacific, and Delta kept building on that.
Dude! This was nuts! Honestly don't know how you did it but kudos for reaching your goal. And, amazingly, you remained pleasant throughout. For context, I'm 71 years old & started flying @ the age of seven because my dad worked for Eastern Airlines as a Station Agent in Pensacola, FL. I feel I'm living vicariously through your channel. Well done!
You’ll probably make it. If it can be done on any US airline, it’s Delta with its stellar on-time performance. When my wife took JetBlue to Boston a few months ago, she was complaining about the delays. I told her that living in Atlanta and flying Delta almost exclusively, we get spoiled with timeliness.
Gate Agents truly deserve the world, they are the backbone of the customer experience and have the hardest job of all. Telling passengers bad news is never easy, especially this time of year. Cheers to them!
I can’t wait to see the southwest “focus city” hopping , also my favorite chapter in the video was departing Atlanta really felt like a lot more was packed into that chapter by far my favorite
I can kind of forgive not doing two hubs in the same city, but there are folks who fly into one of them and out of the other, as part of the same travel direction.
My Wife, Mother and I recently flew round trip to Phoenix from Seattle on Delta taking 5 different flights between us. It may be a winter operations thing to account for possible de-icing and storm diversions, but every flight we took, including those that left 15-25 mins late were early on arrival. They seem to pad their schedules rather well.
My one dawn flight was from DFW to ORD. Even though the flight was decently full, there was something still so hushed about watching the sun rise from the air.
Even though Southwest Airlines doesn’t call their airline hubs “hubs” you should try to go through the main southwest airports. ATL, BWI, MDW, DEN, BNA, OAK, PHX, and STL. Congrats on 500k! Road to 1milly
Before watching the video: My guess, yes you will make it! Btw, Boston and New York Laguardia are Delta hubs too. After watching the video: COFFEE lol. My body is bad with coffee. Congrats on 500K subs, and happy holidays!
Delta is a very well oiled machine! Years ago I toured Tech Ops in ATL! As part of the 1994 Airliners International show! Being from the 🌃 Southeast,Delta was our Family's Airline! We were only 29 minutes by air to the Atlanta hub!
I'm a flight attendant and the ONLY passenger who can truly say and get away with the statement of "I fly more than you" is you jeb 🤣. By federal law we literally cannot fly this much without rest so this is awesome you pulled this off, especially during the holiday season lol.

Was going to plan another trip to non rev as far as I could and as far around the world but wife retired and we are lower down the stand by now..lol great job!
Jeb, DTW is my home airport, every flight I've taken, with exception to one out of ORD has been from there. Thanks for visiting DTW, I hope you enjoyed it, even for the short time you were transiting through there
Amazing vid, as always, Jeb! I'm a DL FA based in BOS and I'd love to have you on one of my flights. Keep up the great work! You always have the most fun, energetic vlogs.
I work in DTW! Luckily for you! I’m also part of the deice team. And I can tell you that you more than likely won’t be sitting on our deice pad for more than around 5 min if we’re just spraying off frost. The cockpit crew takes about 30 seconds to prepare the aircraft, 2 min fo runs to deice, and another min or 2 for the cockpit crew to reconfigure the aircraft and start rolling again. Hope to see you back in DTW soon!
Loved the video. I’m an SLC based flight attendant and oh man…that walk from security to the B gates, particularly the hardstands. You ought to make a video on SLC’s B gates and hardstands.
DTW is by far my favorite airport... I like ATL as well but there's a higher risk of delays and cancellations there due to the high volume they handle (very well designed airport tho!... it has to be when you're handling 100+ million a year).
i'm originally from minneapolis but my family moved to los angeles. MSP-LAX has arguably one of the most beautiful flight paths in the country! i fly delta between the two cities often.

I've done three in one day (DTW/MSP/SEA), and of course, as a Delta fan, have done all 7 many times in my lifetime. I even once did SEA/JFK/SEA in under 24 hours for business. This is a whole new breed of intense though!
Paused. I think this looks like a 24 hour dream come true and would DEFINITELY be the experience of a lifetime for me !!! Its unknown now how much time I have left but this sure does give me a goal to aspire toward. I have always LOVED everything about airports ( some more than others ) and every flight I've ever been on !! I'm excited just to see how this turns out !
Congratulations on making all 7 hubs AND 500K subscribers in that trip! I look forward to your weekly videos-you & Suzanne have expanded my bucket list exponentially. Wishing you a joyful HollyDay season!
Congratulations on succeeding with this challenge. You and your wife are a great team! I'm sure you were so glad to walk into your own home and give her a hug after all that craziness (and lack of sleep) Wishing you every happiness and a very Merry Christmas!
The one thing I love about Delta whenever I fly with them is that if they are running behind, somehow the pilots and ground dispatch crews always seem to punch it and make it to where I need to go. Always on time. IDK how they do it, but they always get me there with enough time to spare.
I don't know if you explained why you took those flights in that order but that would be interesting to learn. Congrats on hitting the half-million subscriber mark!!
@Jeb Brooks Jeb I highly suggest doing every American Airlines hub DFW, LAX, ORD, JFK, CLT, MIA, and PHL and/or PHX. Or every JetBlue hub JFK, BOS, FLL, MCO and SJU
If you wanted to hit ALL the legacy hubs, you'd have to add CVG to your list, although I don't know if they even have enough flights left to make a connection through there! Seriously, this looked like a lot of fun.
I live in Anchorage, AK. When I went to college in RI, this would be my route to the East Coast: ANC-HNL, HNL-PDX, PDX-BOS (same for return). HNL was a nice pit-stop, I'd be able to rent a car for a few hours and dip my feet in the ocean before my flight. Ok, here is your next flight challenge: BOS-MIA, MIA-LAX, LAX-HNL, HNL-ANC, ANC-ORD, ORD-BOS (using One World Partners).
Congratulations on 500K and making this incredible journey in under 24 hours. You and Suzanne are such a joy to watch and I thank you for sharing your incredible adventures. Have a very happy holidays.
I have been in a few of the Delta hubs before. I recently got back from the trip from Tucson back to Portland and used SEA on the way there and SLC on the way back. SEA is probably my favorite Delta hub because I used there the most when I used to go to university in Seattle. Strangely enough, I used the Delta Sky Club longer than on a flight between SEA and PDX. By the way, I am pretty sure you skipped two Delta hubs BOS and LGA.
Have been waiting for this!! Can't wait to see American Airlines! I think the best hub is definitely ATL with its efficient transportation system. The worst might have to be MSP. I typically use Flightradar24. I much prefer ice to storms since storms can be so unpredictable.
@@harisonvansiclen858 Delta provides great hubs and MSP is one of them, however, I feel that others are superior like ATL, DTW, SLC (with its new terminal), and JFK.
This is a great video and the series idea is brilliant! As a former flight attendant I definitely know what that exhaustion feels like, being on a plane for so many hours 😵💫 Congrats on making it to every hub! Looking forward to the next challenge!! ✈️
Next time you hub hop on Delta, fly from Atlanta to Bogota to New York JFK to Mexico City to Los Angeles to Tokyo-Haneda to Seattle to Seoul to Minneapolis to Salt Lake City to London-Heathrow to Cincinnati to Paris to Detroit to Boston
This sounds like an interesting adventure to embark on! Delta Airlines is my favorite airline and ATL is my alltime favorite Delta HUB! I hope you were able to accomplish your entire agenda! Totally awesome! Well, I think I would have attempted this project during the summer months in order to avoid the de-icing delays. I am a huge summer traveler to begin with being I take two summer vacations every year. I always use Delta because, as I said, it's my favorite airline and I will always land at ATL before going on to my final destination, Melbourne,Florida. ATL has a lot of aviation action there that you can witness before boarding your own flight being it's the busiest airport in the country! I also like using Delta because many of their aircraft are equipped with flight tracker monitors on the back of the seat in front of you. You can track the progress of your own flight while in midair and a lot of other flight data which is available. Until I flew Delta, I had never seen such a feature aboard aircraft. Anyway, this is an awesome project you are undertaking!
Glad you swung by MSP I work there as a fueler (sadly I wasn't there the day you came or if I was it was after you left) but hopefully you visit again soon and I'd like to see you try to fly on Sun Country which is apparently one of the worst airlines out there
You will make it, as long as there are no weather or delays. I don’t mind the de icing of the planes in winter it’s the spring storms that I don’t care for as they are very unpredictable!
This is so weird, but I had this thought the other day, "How far could I drive in 24 hours", so I asked Google and the answer was a little over 1300 miles giving an average speed of 65 miles per hour. Bearing in mind your travel distance is six times that and a plane travel at least 6 times faster than a car....and more....I'd say you SHOULD be able to do this!! Good luck with the transfers!!
You have to do the American hubs. For those who don’t know they are, Charlotte, Miami, Dallas Fort Worth, Phoenix, LAX, New York LaGuardia, and Philadelphia

Jeb, DTW is my home airport, every flight I've taken, with exception to one out of ORD has been from there. Thanks for visiting DTW, I hope you enjoyed it, even for the short time you were transiting through there
You have an awesome airport! DTW was the best airport I layed over in! Would fly out again!
@@emreyurttas5051
DTW is the best in the USA.
Mine too
Amazing vid, as always, Jeb!
Best Video ever, i wish i could do that
Loved the video.
Left out BOS. Now listed as a hub. Loved the vid though.
i'm originally from minneapolis but my family moved to los angeles. MSP-LAX has arguably one of the most beautiful flight paths in the country! i fly delta between the two cities often.
I've done plenty of long trips...but never one this long domestically. Nice work
Great travel videos! I’m a aircraft mechanic in Atlanta for Delta, I enjoy your videos so much!
You on the line ? Or TOC?
oh hey im going from atlanta to seattle in a few weeks. i cant wait! flying delta last time i went in 2020 was a great experience, and that is why i chose it again
This is absolute unhinged chaos and I am absolutely here for it.
I think you make it. It’ll be crazy but you make it.
Also nice to see the eventual MSP love; it truly is such a great airport.
I'm not sure how it's possible with such a great channel, but Suzanne's appearances make it even better! Merry Christmas!!
Not five MILLION🥺💕I wish you pass the million soon
I love all your videos , quality couple not to mention adorable humans.
The pictures or the shots or the scenes, I really don't know what to call them, you take are beyond professional beautiful and deserve the reward of the year the OSCAR of RUclips should be given to those magnificent shoots and shots you take.
I love you both and I'll pray it exceeds millions...
You always deserve better than the best
Keep up the amazing work you are doing💕👍💕👍
Great video!!! Congrats 😃on the 500K!! Thanks for all you do to keep us Aviationists amazed!!✈
Thank you for flying Delta, as always!
8:25 | JEB! But why didn't you record the agent's reaction to your insane itinerary⁉ 🤦🏾♂ 🤣
The one thing I love about Delta whenever I fly with them is that if they are running behind, somehow the pilots and ground dispatch crews always seem to punch it and make it to where I need to go. Always on time. IDK how they do it, but they always get me there with enough time to spare.
Flightradar24 since I help feed em! lol
Atlanta is the worst. Salt Lake City is the best for on-time departures and arrivals.
How you found a line for coffee that you had time for at that hour in ATL is amazing
Was going to make the same comment 😆😆😆
I don't know if you explained why you took those flights in that order but that would be interesting to learn.
Congrats on hitting the half-million subscriber mark!!
Can’t wait to see you do an AA hub hopping video.
@Jeb Brooks Jeb I highly suggest doing every American Airlines hub DFW, LAX, ORD, JFK, CLT, MIA, and PHL and/or PHX. Or every JetBlue hub JFK, BOS, FLL, MCO and SJU
United, Delta, now its American!😀 Btw love your videos so much as a young aviation enthusiast!
If you wanted to hit ALL the legacy hubs, you'd have to add CVG to your list, although I don't know if they even have enough flights left to make a connection through there! Seriously, this looked like a lot of fun.
Memphis, too, though that didn't last that long post NWA merger.
Cvg actually is a focus city as is Rdu, but bos and lga are both hubs he missed
@@LeviRamsey I was about to say Memphis too!
MSP DL gates was where I got my start in the airlines! It's so nice to hear such kind words from you. GAs are definitely under appreciated. Thank you!
Congratulations on 500K and making this incredible journey in under 24 hours. You and Suzanne are such a joy to watch and I thank you for sharing your incredible adventures. Have a very happy holidays.
Can’t wait to see you do an Allegiant hub hopping journey. I think they are up to 15 hubs now.
lol..they really don't do hubs. Those are just bases.
Awesome. Good thing you were not flying over holiday weekends!
Have been waiting for this!! Can't wait to see American Airlines! I think the best hub is definitely ATL with its efficient transportation system. The worst might have to be MSP. I typically use Flightradar24. I much prefer ice to storms since storms can be so unpredictable.
L, MSP is the best
@@harisonvansiclen858 Delta provides great hubs and MSP is one of them, however, I feel that others are superior like ATL, DTW, SLC (with its new terminal), and JFK.
@@jetsetter8004 bro said atlanta LOL
be serious lil bro
Yes!!!! Thank you Jeb! Obsessed with these hub hopping series!
I can’t wait for American Airlines hub hooping hopefully Jen thanks 👍
Yes, you always make it.
This is a great video and the series idea is brilliant! As a former flight attendant I definitely know what that exhaustion feels like, being on a plane for so many hours 😵💫 Congrats on making it to every hub! Looking forward to the next challenge!! ✈️
Hey Jeb
I did all of the Delta hubs in first class but it took me 36 hours and I went to LGA also.
It was a fun mileage run.
You United hub hopping video is what made me find your channel. Thanks for all of the great vids, congrats on 500k
5:09 Absolutely right about the hardest job being a front-line gate agent.
This reminds me of when I not intentionally flew from BOS-CAK-MCO-STL-OMA-DEN-LAS on Southwest Airlines. Not one of my better days.
Congrats on 500K!
Also, this video should be bookmarked by those who may need some mileage run ideas, LOL.
DTW is not only the best Delta hub, it's also one of the best airports in the world. Especially the McNamara terminal.
