How long does he workout each day (with lifting and cross training as well)

recall coe would do a 20 miler at 4:30 per mi, but that was not a common session and he was not training to compete in a marathon

I guess no one else in the gym needs to do leg extensions.

@youngdollar23 They do, the whole industry caters to distance runners.

there is no reason for runners and athletes to be using the isolation exercise machines. that's a solid way to get injured. if ryan wants to get resistance leg training, he needs to do squats with very low weight. love the guy though.

It's not that impressive really, I'm nowhere near his level but my easy runs are usually within that pace. A bit faster too if I'm feeling good.
