    F2L is the hardest part to get good and consistent at, so this really simplifies it! Thanks for another great video!

    I commend you because this tutorial was better than the one you made before because it explains how to insert each corner and you're not saying to first put all the corners in the top layer. However, I would argue that this method isn't very much more efficient than the beginner method because you are still putting pieces in place (the middle layer edges) to only have to later take those pieces out to pair with other pieces ( the first layer corners). That's exactly what the beginner's method does, but the pieces are reversed (first you insert the first layer corners, then you remove them to pair up with the middle layer edges and insert them together). If you count the total F2L turns made for this method and the beginner method for the same scramble, I would imagine that the number would be very close. However if you used the Edges-First Keyhole method, which this is very similar to, you would cut the total F2L turns down by close to a third or more. I sent you an email with some references on the Edges-First Keyhole method last week. I'm not sure if you got it (maybe it went to your spam folder). Anyway, this is a complete method tutorial this time so good job. However, it requires more algs then the beginner's method without the added benefit of having a significant lower move count. Please take a look at my references and consider doing a Edges-First Keyhole method tutorial.

      @@THECUBER2023 if your edges 1st keyhole is as thorough as this one was, I will be recommending it to a lot of people. Edges First Keyhole is my preferred method of solving and I avg just over 20s. I have some bad habits that I could probably work on to get my avg down to 20s, but I'm a much older cuber and things that come easy for you younger people don't come as easy for me. However, I would love to finally have a decent tutorial on the method that I use to recommend to people. I look forward to seeing it.

    Whenever I try to go fast when doing F2L I just solve the corner and then
    use the 2 algorithms for the edge in front or on the right
    or I just use the beginner method all the way since I can do it much faster
    This should help me more since it's just 3 algs and not the 41 algs for all F2L cases

    • @5hadov
      @5hadov Год назад

      you don't have to learn 41 algs for F2L, because F2L is intuitive, you can figure out every single case, but if you want to be faster you have to know advanced F2L

    • @JOHNSONNBOSS

      U have to practice using f2l and at first the beginners method will be faster but this method will at max get u to sub 15 which is alr a long shot, plus f2l had 90+ cases but i can learn almost everyone intuitively in a matter of months, ur just finding a way to not learn f2l cuz u don't want to put the effort in.

    This isn't a very efficient method since your just taking out an already solved peice to pair it up. Would it not make sense to just do pseudo slotting? I mean these cases are decent to learn anyhow, since you can force them in the cross solve but it's less of a solid way of always solving all of the corners and just an easy way to learn 3 f2l cases.

      @@THECUBER2023yes, it actually is, because you're working your way up. it's an easier concept for beginners to understand - you're building on to what you've built. in this, to a beginner, you're solving seemingly random pieces then doing stuff magically to solve both. you could also make the method faster by just solving 3 edges, teaching the basic corner insert, and keyholing the corners. then solve the last slot with beginner's. this just seems like an awkward inbetween, where you're not saving much time, and it's somewhat easy to learn - but it seems like you are getting better, but you're actually doing the same stuff, just in a slightly different way.
