Sorry, I didn’t fully understand whether this method of setting two layers is better than the intuitive f2l?

What if you solved 3 edges first then use keyhole for the corners for those pairs then solve the last pair using the beginner method technique

this method is genuinely terrible, the tps is slower than full f2l once you are comfortable and it teaches some very bad habits because of all the D moves you are doing in f2l which you should never do unless it's absolutely necessary (e.g. pseudoslotting and keyhole)

I use this method before i watched this video and i was averaging 25 seconds

As a person who learned advanced F2l, this method is pretty good. It would probably help beginners understand basics of f2l

the problem is that you can learn f2l in 6 minutes with no algorithms with a jperm tutorial

been learning 40+ F2L algo for the past few months, and I must say this EFK method is more beginner friendly :)

I really like this method and your tutorial on it as a simple, fast improvement over the beginner method. But I think you should change the description to say EFK is an alternative to F2L, not an alternative to CFOP.

Love this video I just found it. man I wish I'd started this way because I've been banging my head again the wall with Advanced F2L for a month and a half, and the practice has paid off no doubt. This method is slightly slower for me since I've learned so many AF2L cases, but this method is unquestionably the method people should transition into from beginner and then into AF2L skipping F2L entirely I bet it would be the best way to learn

really helpful fro beginner f2l cubers like me. but isnt this method the same thing as beginners method but you do the second layer first then the first layer?

This method is awesome. I gave up on f2l but got this in the first try. It is very intuitive vs f2l which is very algorithmic.

Not to be toxic, but you are solving edge then corner, this is essentially the same me thing as beginner f2l but still good

I actually have been using this method for years but didn't call it anything and my cubing friend where calling me crazy so I am glad there are others using it now
