When you download a piece of music from Pixabay, you're typically granted a license to use that music under certain conditions without needing to provide attribution or pay royalties. Make sure you have a copy of this license or any document that proves your right to use the music. This might be a download confirmation email, a user account dashboard screenshot showing your download history, or a direct link to the license terms on the Pixabay website.
This system is beyond stupid, in my opinion. Why would anyone want to knowingly have a copyright claim and risk monetization on their video? Pixabay shoot themselves into the foot with this big time. Sad that most music in there is under this moronic thing. I'd rather pay that 10 bucks a month for services like Epidemic Sound or Artlist, and there's no need to worry about this. My time is worth more than that 10 bucks a month. I mean the time used clearing copyright claims and, on top of that, the risk of losing monetization.
Thank you so much! My daughter has a Content ID claim on one of her videos and had no idea what to do about it. She has now submitted the dispute, so now we just have to wait a bit.
What if the certificate is NOT available on Pixabay, even though it clearly states that the music track is copyright free? This has happened with a few of my videos and it's extremely annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think the question most will have is can you still monetize with the certificate? I only want to use music if I can still monetize my video. Can you with the certificate? The site isn't too clear on that.
I have the same doubt, but I believe so. Once youtube notifies the presence of content id in that content, it just disables the possibility of monetization of that video. If the intention is to claim through this license, I believe that as soon as RUclips approves, the monetization will be released. I'm not sure, but it's what makes the most sense in my opinion...
@@Luandahora Agreed...I share that but I put a lot of time into each video and if for some reason it were to get locked without future monetization that would be rough, particularly if a video is doing well. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Ill be safe and hold off and stick to Epidemic etc.

@@WildWatch No I haven't. I just skipped it to be safe and went with Epidemic sound for music since I already have subscription there and free RUclips music that RUclips offers :(
