      @McLovin2021 Mclovin Not exactly sure what the differences are.
      I would defer to what their simplified license says: pixabay.com/service/license/
      "All content on Pixabay can be used for free for commercial and noncommercial use across print and digital, except in the cases mentioned in 'What is not allowed'."
      If you interpret that statement, then "ALL" content posted on Pixabay is free to use, except in cases mentioned in what is not allowed section.
      For further clarification, I would either post your comment in their Forum:
      pixabay.com/forum/
      Or send them your inquiry via their contact form:

    You forgot to mention an important thing about what is NOT allowed: "Don't sell unaltered copies of an image. e.g. sell an exact copy of a stock photo as a poster, print or on a physical product."

      Hi Sarah, I just want to confirm what you are saying. So an artist, like myself, cannot use a photograph, say, of a bird, sketch it and sell it as a print? This would not be allowed? Thanks

    Are you really able to use Pixabay images commercially? Even modify them and do so? I have always wanted to do that, but was afraid that I would end up in some sort of legal trouble. That’s why I have hesitated over and over again.

    • @kenfurukawamarketing
      @kenfurukawamarketing  3 года назад +1

      Hi New Adventure, yes you can use them commercially. They obviously have rules you must follow in order to use the images so make sure you follow those. Here is a link to their licensing page - pixabay.com/service/license/ If you have any questions, you can find info on how to do that here - pixabay.com/service/about/

    so to put things into context. I was given a college assignment to make a website.
    In the website there needs to be picutres on top of the other requirements.
    The website also needs to be uploaded to a public server for the internet to see.
    I plan to use pixabay for the pictures, will they be ok with that?

    • @kenfurukawamarketing
      @kenfurukawamarketing  Год назад

      Sorry for the late reply... You need to read the terms & conditions/terms of use set forth by Pixabay. Follow their guidelines on how they allow the pictures to be use. If you have questions reach out to them directly as it's their platform. If you want to cover your bases, and assuming you're following their guidelines, I'd add a photo credit on your site to be transparent. But that's your decision

      Hi Michael, thanks for your question. I suggest you read Pixabay's terms and conditions page - pixabay.com/service/terms/
      Scroll down to the section that says "License for Content - Pixabay License" to understand what you can or cannot do with the photos.
      Also, with each download, make sure there are no other requirements like attributing the photo to the author. This will pop up when you initiate the download.

    what about pixabay erotic images for adult content 18+ landing page, social media or blog? Is it allowed to use them in such circumstances under pixabay licence???

    • @kenfurukawamarketing
      @kenfurukawamarketing  3 года назад

      Not sure as I'm not an attorney. You should read the license for each individual image you plan to download. This because they may differ from one another depending on the author/contributor.
      Pixabay has their license pixabay.com/service/license/ and there is Model and Property Release to consider as well pixabay.com/blog/posts/pixabay-license-what-is-allowed-and-what-is-not--4/
      In the Model and Property Release verbiage, you basically need to determine if it the usage is editorial or commercial use. And depending on what that is determines whether or not you can use it.
