My wife's Expedition began having a loud noise while running. Come to find out it was a rocker arm that flattened it self on the camshaft.

I thought you had a rod knocking? Should see evidence of that when you tear it down.

Same here, I went through the engine and the bearings had been replaced before I bought the vehicle. But everything looked great.

Wow. Good video. I was interested because I have a 5.4 with about the same miles. You must change the oil regularly because the engine looked cleaner than most I’ve seen. How’s the car running today? Cool looking shop btw!

@@imadog131 thanks! I try and keep the oil fresh! The engines been great! Put another 10k miles on it so far and about to do the 5th oil change since the rebuild. Thanks for the support!!
