Day Four: Ever wanted to know what happens the first time an artist enters the Eurovision venue? We follow Ireland's Brooke to find out!
All countries (with the exception of the Big Five) have now stepped on our stage in Turin for the first time. For those of you who've danced around your bedrooms with a hairbrush in hand ready to represent your country, we’ll take you along with Brooke to show you the steps. From childhood dream to Eurovision reality.

I love Samya so much, you can really feel her love and understanding for the contest ❤️❤️
This episode was the best yet. So cool to get a more detailed look of the experience of each artist getting to the stage. I hope we get to hear more from the many people who help each artist get ready and bring their performance to the big stage.

Both Samya and Mario have such a positive and warm energy as hosts, they seem to really enjoy what they’re doing and you can feel it through the screen

EBU has released a statement that the sun will remain in the same position during all 40 songs, to ensure a fair competition to all of them. They don't have enough of time to fix it. :(
Nope, this is it gals and boys. What you see is what you get. The sun will only "move" during interval acts and guests performing. The 40 acts will have this dead weight at their back blocking the screen.
Yes, it looks so ugly in most of the acts, just a dark sun of death or something😂.
It think it will go in history as the worst stage of eurovision ever.
@papo papo the sun is not technically broken. It works as intended. As in, it was designed wrong on paper from the beginning so there's nothing to fix. They can't push it too hard or it'll give up the ghost mid performance.

"The Sun" is not broken, not at all, it is a TIMING problem, as reported by the EBU itself:

"During the technical rehearsals in Turin, the Eurovision Song Contest production team encountered problems with the time it takes for the Kinetic Sun to reposition itself between performances. ESC has a rather short time to change scene among the songs. This is why an agreement was reached with the Rai host broadcaster and, in order to offer fair competition to everyone, the Kinetic Sun will remain in a fixed position for all 40 songs ".
The sun will turn easily for the performances scheduled during the opening of the evenings and the performances that will intersperse the competition and the results of the vote of the juries and spectators. It was an EBU decision for television timing reasons
@@likoraevan7625 You are hysterical, and certainly not only today, it is your problem that you have been carrying for years. EBU wants to hurry between one song and another, EBU asked RAI and the Artists to use only one side during the competition and RAI and the Artists accepted. The artists are happy with the result obtained after changing some scenography choices, Denmark that was previously unhappy is now very satisfied, and the Sun will turn normally during the moments out of the song contest. That's all.

How long does it take to move the sun ?
Is it possible to ask the delegations to choose the LED side/Lights side and then arrange the running order so that the countries choosing the LED side perform together and those choosing the Lights perform together . The green room breaks may be used to turn the stage sun ?
In EBU's statement today they said that the sun would take too long to rotate between songs and decided to keep it on the current side to be fair for every contesting country.
It takes 15 mins though :(
@@ela5640 they do go to the green room for 7-8 mins, even if it's 15 mins it can be done

@@EurovisionSongContest they did a great job selecting her. Most hosts/presenters are unbearable and ask the most inane questions or make it about themselves. Samya is so comfortable and makes it so engaging when you hear her talk. Love her energy.

people its bad, i know a guy who is a part of latvian delegation, he says that italians have overhyped the stage, don't know really the technologies that good, cause a lot of latvian and other staging demands are not possible even tho it was planned> shame>

What's this whole "sun" thing everyone is complaining about?
The sun is supposed to move, but it cannot move very fast, and they do not have enough time to fix it. They have decided to keep the sun in its current position for all 40 acts, because it is fair on all of them. The sun will only move for opening and interval acts.
In case this isn‘t clear the sun is that large, spherical centerpiece of the stage.
