The fact that it charges two batteries simultaneously (without a parallel charging board) and that it can charge my phone is awesome! thanks again for having all these awesome giveaways!
It's really awesome that It is able to charge a phone, when travelling there are usually not enough plugs to charge your lipos and phone at the same time so this is a great idea!
Being able to charge in the field is a plus. But also the ability to charge my phone as well while I am in the field is a sweet feature. Thank you for this review.
Smart charger like this would be a huge upgrade from my current charger. Lots of great features that would allow me to monitor battery life beyond just charging.
Things awesome! I love that it charges phones wirelessly because I can put in this drawer thing under my desk and charge my phone on top of the desk and batteries right under. Thanks, Albert
I like that the Duo D6 is capable of charging in the field with a DC XT60 connection. In our hobby now I do think it should be a regular feature on all chargers, especially when flying with other people😎
really like this charger ,price is a little high for me but after watching your video review it seems worth it . The screen and colors make it easy to use and read thats just awesome for me to understand
Built a DIY 24V supply out of 2 $25 server PSUs and run the non pro - DC only version off that. Can charge two 6S 5000mah lipos from storage to full power in under 20 minutes. Definitely will do 15A per channel as long as it isn't exceeding 300w. I think with the 6S batteries I hover around 12-13A per channel, everything else is the full 15A.
I love the fact that u can use this with AC and DC gives u the option to charge at home and in the field! I could really use a hobby grade charger. Thanks for another great review! The wireless phone charging option is pretty cool also!
I’m trying to comprehend why they would possibly make a wheel that scrolls left and right control items on a screen that go up and down. There had to be some sort of case size limitation for why they didn’t rotate that 90 degrees like the ISDT. Or were they worried about patent issues?
The Hobbymate D6 Duo Pro really is an all-in-1 charger. Now i can charge my phone together with my lipos and have more space for other stuff rather than a wireless charger on my table.
Looks like a good charger. I have the SkyRC D100 which has most of the features this one has, although, lower wattage on the charger. I love the chargers with the two independent charging ports. Thanks and Happy Charging!
Great feature rich charger, been looking to upgrade my isdt 608 ,like the duel input, and duel output, my isdt struggles with the homemade power supply ,nice to see the wireless charger on the top ,👍
Hands down the best feature is the fact that you can name the charger. 😂 Functions look very similar to the ISDT, but love that there is a separate balance function, and the external discharge.
Hey Albert, I see what your saying about the wireless charger for the phone not being really needed. However it could be useful if your using that charger out in the field on an all day event. You could charge your phone while you fly. It wouldn’t be something I would want to spend extra to have, but could still be useful. Seems like a really nice charger.
Thank you for very good review! Charger D6 can be charge 2-6s lixx battery without balance plug? Via only power cable. I want charge batteries from photo/video cameras.
@@AlbertKimTV Thank you Albert! Are you sure? if I don't connect balance plug (use only power cable) d6 can start charge/discharge process for 2-6s lixx? You can try for me, please)
I need charge 4s lipo batteries with internal BMS controller. This is batteries for professional video cameras. I want use B6 without balance plug. I can use B6 for it?
The fact it auto detects the cell count is neat, certainly helps avoid mistakes. Makes my current "smart" charger look pretty dumb just because of that :P
The charger by itself is similar to most other chargers out there but I think what makes it stand out is that it's more than just a charger with USB port and wireless phone charging.
sounds like great charger and has some great features but unfortunately won't use the wireless phone charger portion as my phone doesn't support wireless charging.
Love the charger man. My favorite is the phone charging part. That way I can watch your videos when I work ok on quads and keep it charged. I watch like 20 videos when I'm working on quads haha. I counted one day. Thanks man for all you do in this hobby
Thanks for the review. My biggest concert about all these chargers is how noisy they are. How does this compare to the ISDT D2 (with two smaller fans instead of one big on the D6 Duo)? I hope they can resolve the fan being on all the time with a firmware update because that's just nuts.
The external discharge isn't for discharging the DC battery. Plug a smaller 2,3,4 cell in and discharge that into a bigger, say 9 or 12 cell battery plugged into the DC port. Discharges a lot faster. Just make sure the bigger battery can take in the charge.
I really do not know enough about battery charges I am really going to have to spend some time and do a bit of studying on this subject .Thanks for the vid .
First of all its a filed charger, the most important part! The user interface is extremely intuitive on the D6 Duo. And its two chargers in one! For us guys that don't like to parallel charge!
I like how the d6 could be used out in the field and and on the go. this is a growing hobby and am still using my hitechx2 which works great since new to the hobby and not flying anything that requires charging anything more then my fatshark batteries but itll do till I think I'm ready to fly anything bigger than a mobula7 or my tiny whoops 🤣🤣🤣
Looks like a solid charger. I like that you can use this in the field unlike the ISDT and I can wirelessly charge my android phone at the same time. Definitely going on my wishlist.
I like that it is a dual channel charger the most, I'm not a fan of using balance boards on my better batteries. It might sound lame with all the features it has, but I get tired of waiting for batteries.
+1👍 i love that it has a plug rather than supplying your own power supply!! (also love the dual charging. i would not need to charge 1 at a time at 33 minutes each like my 80w charger)
Waiting for one on Monday, I believe discharge external is to discharge your used l’iPod into the external big one in the back. So I heard in other reviews. Did you try? I will when I get it.
The DC powering is an amazing upgrade to any charger for options and convenience and the wireless charging is funny to me, but hey maybe someone would use it.
Awww, put an eye on this charger not long ago. And today saw your rewiew, promocode still working... Ordered! Thanks man;) should be a perfect charger!
Dual charging would step up my battery program , wireless phone charging is awesome idea way to go hobbymate ,nice catch on balancing plugs reversed , great info on review, Thank you!!
Yes. I own the bg bat go isdt. Awesome battery checker but no charging. So I could use a nice charger like this hobby mate. Powerful and long lasting for sure. Amen

With both batteries connected the External discharge says "do not connect the battery! Confirm". What does this mean?
Things awesome! I love that it charges phones wirelessly because I can put in this drawer thing under my desk and charge my phone on top of the desk and batteries right under. Thanks, Albert
I like that the Duo D6 is capable of charging in the field with a DC XT60 connection. In our hobby now I do think it should be a regular feature on all chargers, especially when flying with other people😎
Being able to charge out in the field is a nice feature. The 15a power supply will help speed of charger. Nice video.
I like the retro look to the Hobbymate! Kinda reminds me of a 1st generation Nintendo console.
really like this charger ,price is a little high for me but after watching your video review it seems worth it . The screen and colors make it easy to use and read thats just awesome for me to understand

The interface navigation via scroll wheel is a very nice feature. Kinda like the x9d vs the QX7 its soo much faster to navigate with scroll wheel.
what i like about this charger is the ability to charge from another lipo while out in the field...yes!
I like the addition of the wireless charging here

Maybe they didn't want to copy the iSDT too exactly.
ISDT is Chinese and they got it right.
The Hobbymate D6 Duo Pro really is an all-in-1 charger. Now i can charge my phone together with my lipos and have more space for other stuff rather than a wireless charger on my table.
I have the D2... the 12 amps per channel is limiting for the days you want to charge all your batteries. The extra 3 amps on the Hobbymate would help.
Looks like a good charger. I have the SkyRC D100 which has most of the features this one has, although, lower wattage on the charger. I love the chargers with the two independent charging ports. Thanks and Happy Charging!

Love that the charger can both charge via AC and DC. Keep these good videos coming.
Impressive charger with lots of menus, easy interface to use and the wireless charge is a great feature.

smart features, two channels, scroll wheel... great charger! Muuuuch better than my one channel :)

Great video, but can you use two parralle charger with this? I mean charging two batteries at once is cool but i woulf like to charger more at once.
Really like the display on this charger the AC and DC options are nice as well. Great review Albert, very informative.
Nice option for work bench, now I have to search where I put my phone if I have to charge it's additional hassle - it solves everything
These chargers have come a long way !
like the field charging aspect, very useful.
sounds like great charger and has some great features but unfortunately won't use the wireless phone charger portion as my phone doesn't support wireless charging.
Is this a rebrand from the same factory? Seems like a decent charger, DC charging in field coupled with a wireless phone charger? Pretty cool.
Love the potential for field and mains charging.
Hey, do you know the difference if any, between the Hobbymate and the HOTA version? Thanks.
Just picked one up and I love it. I feel more safe-ish using it!
Amazon keeps having lightening deals on it. Use Keepa to set an alert.
Love the charger man.
My favorite is the phone charging part.

It's about the same, maybe a little less noisy.

Hey, can you juice up batteries using a car charger?
Nice looking charger. I like the dual channel output and the ability for DC input. Great versatility.
I really do not know enough about battery charges I am really going to have to spend some time and do a bit of studying on this subject .Thanks for the vid .
that's kool that can run two boards at 15 amp as well as being able to use a t60 to DC charge.
Nice, love the xt60 input option and the wireless charging feature. 👌👍👍
Nice charger. Like the fact that you can field charge with dc input and even throw your phone on there.
I love that I could use it as a wireless phone charger! I also like that it charges at up to 15A!
I like it that it can directly put it without extra power supply
Love the fact this charger can take AC or DC power, makes it two channel field charger with some serious cpabilities.
First of all its a filed charger, the most important part! The user interface is extremely intuitive on the D6 Duo. And its two chargers in one! For us guys that don't like to parallel charge!
I do like 15A.. Charging bunch of those 4s/ 6s batteries with low amp setting in parallel board takes so long!
I have an iPhone X, and the idea that I can charge my phone while I am charging my batteries is amazing.
Love the dual inputs, really handy for in the field and at home. This would be much better than my current b6 chargers.
I don't like to parallel charge and like the 2 channel chargers to keep things safe. Thanks for the giveaways!
I have never had a dual channel charger...great feature
The overall functionality is actually quite impressive, could replace one of my old Bantam chargers!
Looks like a solid charger. I like that you can use this in the field unlike the ISDT and I can wirelessly charge my android phone at the same time. Definitely going on my wishlist.
I love the wireless charging option for a phone.
just got mine today... awesome charger!
Great to hear!

Yes, that's how it works
One Question is the Hota Dua D6 Pro the same like this one from Hobbymate?
This one has been rebranded a lot so if it looks the same it probably is. Double check that the specs also match.
Hota is the manufacturer, hobbymate is the distributor
Sucks it dont have profile savings would be the best
Been looking for a new charger. This might just fit the bill. Not worried about the fan always on as I charge in the basement. Nice review.
Nice interface AC and DC input 15A feature pack it's look like a charger to consider to buy when the time will come to change my actual charger
I have a smaller ISDT. What does the display look like next to the ISDT? How noisy is the fan? Like it. Impressive. Good review.
Unlike some chargers, I'm a fan of the easy to read display.
Great charger. I like how it can do ac and dc so I can charge off a battery.
Like the balance charge feature.
Definitely like the wireless phone charging feature!
I have the 500w isdt charger, hobbymate would be a nice sidekick to it 👍
this review made me decide to get this over the ISDT d2
I do like the dual channel and the wireless charging would be handy. Great review as usual.
Would love this charger on a win i just bought the htrc 240 duo but i think this one is a better one . I like how it charges your cell phone also
The DC powering is an amazing upgrade to any charger for options and convenience and the wireless charging is funny to me, but hey maybe someone would use it.
I like low voltage dc input feature - 2s big battery for charging 4s in field.
What charging bord to you suggest
12v input will be perfect for charging packs in my camper van.
Would love this charger! I think the wireless phone charging us hilarious. Love the higher amperage output too
Cool charger. Really like the color display.
Feature packed and powerful. Nice charger.
Awww, put an eye on this charger not long ago. And today saw your rewiew, promocode still working...

The wireless charging is a really nice touch.

Wow it comes with wireless charger? That a nice addition features.
Looks a little big to fit in my backpack, But it would be nice to have on the bench.
I had to play this at 1.25 speed. It's a little long but I've decided on either this or the Hota.
Hota is the manufacturer of the charger, hobbymate is the distributor.
I like the details of this charger and have added it to my wishlist so I dont forget about it :P
Yes. I own the bg bat go isdt. Awesome battery checker but no charging. So I could use a nice charger like this hobby mate. Powerful and long lasting for sure. Amen
Is this still your favorite charger in 2022? Have you bought more than one since then? Thinking this or the ISDT equivalent.
I use something else now. The Hobbymate was more than I needed so I gave it away. 😀
@@AlbertKimTV nice!
Love the wireless charging on this charger. Great feature.
No matter what I try, all I get is "operation is not supported error". Maybe I bought a bad unit?
I love the dual channels I’m currently running 2 separate chargers lol
It looked massive until your hands came into shot hahahaha. A real honest review thanks Albert :)
wow these realy do look awsome i like the look of these.i liked the fact that these things are getting better and better.
