If I had a dime for every time someone's channel covered a charger and everyone rushed to order one,I would be rich. I will continue to use what I have. It's been faithful for 5 years and counting.
I recommend no matter what charger you have you do not use the discharge setting. 1st it takes forever and a lot of times you forget your working with a lipo. 2nd the unit gets hot which will degrade the charger components over time. I find it best to just plug it into your air craft and run it down a bit closer to storage letting the motor run about 1/3 to half throttle. It takes far less of your time and its much safer all around. Once its down closer to storage you can leave it at that or finish getting it to perfect storage charge on the charger.
I started with a Prodigy charger from Flite Test. Added a Venom Pro Duo, now I will have two double chargers so I can be ready for the field in less time! I like the big, digital screen.
I've been using it for years to charge 8 Lipos at 2C (on 2 separate paraboards) simultaneously at max power with a big power supply, it's great ! Much better (reliable) than the ISDT crap that always end up bugging in the long run.
Just retired and getting into the hobby. I'm interested in purchasing this charger. I need advice on what adapters and/or cables are needed to charge an E-flite 7.4V 280mah 2S 30C Lipo Battery: PH Planning on getting the kids and grandkids into the hobby! Thank you for any help, its much appreciated.
Hey guys, enjoy your videos. I have a Toolkit M4Q smart charger that does what I need, but the balance plugs won't stay in unless I put something heavy in front of them. I know it's been a few months, but how are the balance connectors on the D6 Duo Pro? Is there enough tension to hold the balance leads in? Really appreciate the help!
Question. I want to cycle nimh batteries 6 cell. I use a turnigy reaktor now, i can program it to cycle 3 times and discharge down to 6v and charge it back until delta v is reached. This charger doesn't seem to have that function...is there something i am missing
What is the average life space or cycle span for battery’s I realize every battery’s different but at what point should I be saying this lipo is no good. I’ve never got rid of a battery and some fly like shit and some with like 30 cycles fly fine. Can someone explain the things to look for when a battery is no longer “good”
I have a connector for the back xt-60 to clips for a car battery but mine does not work when connected to a car battery not sure if I'm doing it wrong can someone please tell me how to run this charger from a car battery please

I love my 14€ Aokoda discharger (it uses 3 bulbs) completely silent and fast.

Joshua Bardwell recommended this charger many years ago. It is a brilliant product!!! I have two of them...
Wow this is nice i have learned a lot just got a D6 Duo pro yesterday and wanted to know more about it and so far this is the best video
Just bought this yesterday, great timing!

You use the DC plug at the back i assume?
Cause 100 watts per rail wouldn't be enough i assume :D
@@FPVSlice yes, DC plug, with a big 1200W PSU
When are you guys going to do the second half of the ground station PCB build?
hi, if we want to charge two batteries with different capacity, how do we set the capacity for different batteries ?
I had one, really great.
How does this conpare to the HTRC T400 Pro?
Super outstanding and thorough video. Thank you!
Great video and well explain i just bought one and i am very happy !
Very nice video. This Charger is 200w total, meaning 100w each chanel. Can o charge 2 zees 5000mah simultanious?
Thanks for the video! Do you think the HOTA D6 Pro could charge 9.3A for parallel charging 6 1550mah lipo HV at the same time?
200 watt max for AC, so up to 21.5 volts should work at 9.3 amps
Can the dc side be connected to a car battery when you’re in the field?
Hi. no one has demonstrated external discharging ??

So you can connect a 3s battery and a 4s to the same charger and charge them both at the same time with no harm?
What DC power supply do I use with this device?
Mine says 6.5-30 volts for DC input
Is the fan Noisy?
Shouldn't you select balance charge instead of just charge.

So why is it when the xt60 is connected you get a different reading?
Very good video thank you

A very simple question not answered. How to know if the battery is fully charged.
Would have been nice to know when it gets to full charge…..back to google I go
My D6 does no change my battery’s more than 80% 😢
