- Great night out shooting foxes with my custom 6mmBR Tikka T3 rifle, Thermion 2 XP50 scope and a Helion 2 XP50 Pro thermal scanner. For anyone that needs to ask, Foxes are an introduced feral animal in Australia. Do some google work on why we are shooting the fox before you rage the hat and look like a peanut !!!
At the time of upload I don't know if RUclips will restrict this video from monetisation. There are new firearms guidelines which are extremely prohibitive on the type of content you can publicise. Lets have a little chat / rant about the new guidelines in the video so everyone understands where the line currently has been drawn in the sand.

It is far deeper than just bottom line profit. If it were just that, they would stop persecuting firearm related channels and make money from them.
Unlike other channels that I wont mention from the US where all they do is blow shit up with 50BMG's and tanks, your channel is actually showing the significant issue we have here in Australia with feral animals and pests. None of them can say they protect the environment like you do.
youtube are making some terrible decisions with the demonetisation of videos, which particularly affects professional and high quality youtubers such as yourself. Other outdoor youtubers I follow (fisherman) have had similar problems with being tagged for animal cruelty, which was certainly not the case.
I hope youtube do the sensible thing and reverse their decision - very much enjoy the content and the work you do ridding Australia of pests! 👍

From what I see on this channel, guns are not for everyone. But for the people who know what to do with them to eradicate invasive pests effectively as you do, guns and accessories are a useful tool to get this done. Keep up the good work. Cheers

Good afternoon again. As usual, top notch shooting. For the record for Mr RUclips, I am not a shooter. I do not watch "sport shooter" channels. I am a supporter of indigenous wildlife protection.
What do you do? You eradicate imported, feral wildlife which can decimate the indigenous wildlife and farm stock. Most of the animals you shoot are not easy to find during the day, and spotlight shooting them is a waste of effort.
The equipment you use for your job is all commercially and legally available, and does not appear to be modified that I have seen.
I do not support gin traps and similar nasty devices as they are just as likely to catch a wombat as a feral dog, and are barbaric.
Yes, you have shot deer, but every one shot is also eaten, not just left to rot after the antlers are hacked off as a trophy.
You are doing a public service by showing the general population what these ferals are doing to our fauna.
I support you 100% in the service you are doing for the farmers and Australia.
Maybe Mr RUclips should be looking more closely at the language and sexual content of a lot of other channels which are easily viewed by our children.

Edge of the Outback is a channel almost solely dedicated to reduction of vermin in a country that has the sad title of suffering the most mammal extinctions globally due to feral introduced animals. You can be as mamby pamby and self righteous as you like but without the efforts of Nathan and many others like him hunting ethically and responsibly, can we never keep a lid on the scourge of vermin and the shame of extinctions that continues to increase in a land of unique wildlife. YT - please do the right thing and support this channel. Nathan demonstrates safe, ethical vermin control of nocturnal species through the use of legal technology. His work is appreciated by his viewers and is educational for those of us who also legally engage in hunting. You can't block every bit of content that demonstrates innovation to solve problems, or you will have nothing of interest to share on the platform. Vermin animals are a problem this creator is dedicated to trying to reduce.

I think the people that make the rules (after complaints) are textbook miss educated. I also think, the people that complain are not aware of the entire situation, another miss education. Maybe we need to remind people every time, the many invasive animals are a real problem. Keep up the good work(shooting) and keep the videos coming.

If only the assumption that RUclips was mostly American (USA) viewers, and generations have been hunting deer, ducks and squirrels from childhood to adults as part of their culture.
(Also Australians have been hunting foxes, rabbits and pigs for generations too.)
Even though there have been problems with US gun culture excesses, this is an over reaction by RUclips, even to their own US hunting culture viewer base.
They need to nuance the difference between gratuitous carless and irresponsible shooting of animals;
to the responsible, educational and necessary control of feral animals that endanger the native wild life population numbers and destroy domestic farm livestock.
I think your channel is of the highest quality of gun safety and balanced approach to a hobby that is a normal part of rural life.

I think RUclips should have a good look at what they do allow on there feeds,particularly when it comes to the objectification of women .as for hunting videos ,a notice of discretion in front of the video is fine.keep up the good work lads the natives need ya.

For some time now I have had to go searching for “subscribed” content as I wondered why it has just disappeared!? I have eventually found them but now have to go looking for them.I don’t know for sure but it seems that they are almost vetting some channels I watch and covertly denying me some access. So I am not surprised by your presentation regarding moves by YT to control content for whatever reason they have. It seems to be a trend of late and I think the algorithm they use does not always get it right considering some of their decisions of late. How this is going to effect the future I don’t know.

Keep on pushing them to get your type of content monetized. RUclips probably thinks of the thermal scope along the lines of what you see in one of those military games on Xbox or PlayStation. But this is not a military application. Which shouldn’t matter anyways. You are a good ethical hunter. I’m your video you walked 100 yards so you didn’t take a skyline shot and could shoot down into the terrain.

It would be interesting to know the number or percentage of pest control/ hunting channels on RUclips. It must be a big earner in ad revenue. Hi Nath, mate there is only one thing I can say about your video's and that is that they are outstanding. I honestly think that nobody does a better production and I do look at plenty of channels. 👍👌👍. On another note, as I said I do look at plenty of channels, U.S. included and I am sick and tired of what happening with RUclips controlling what we can watch and what we can't. Surely if it offends you it's up to the individual to turn it off, not big brother deciding for us. I just hope that someone out there is preparing to set up another platform, I'd switch over in a heartbeat.

Although I do not agree with RUclips's arbitrary and capricious censoring of content, I do think relying on YT income is a fool's errand because it's the same as sitting in someone else's dining room: if you break whatever rules they happen to make--even new ones they just thought up--you have to leave. There are no "rights" assigned to content creators and YT can censor as they see fit. I do love this channel; you are doing yeoman's work!

I'll run the best image I can for clear ID at further range 👌. They work really well in tandem.
A dismounted scope or handheld monocular helps with maintaining gun safety. That and equipment redundancy to keep Murphy away.

RUclips's gone mad mate, they're idiots! A fishing guy I watch had his video removed because he caught a mud crab and the claw came off whilst he was holding it, a natural self defence mechanism for the crab. Keep up the good work mate!

What a bloody world we are living in, it is like lead shot for cartridges and rifle ammo in my country one country say jump and we have to obey it god knows what will happen to the .22 cal l/r ammo it will just vanish any way good shooting mate and take care.
