I plowed like this and cultivated and done plenty of bush-hogging mostly on a Farmall A and a Cub for hours upon hours as a young teen and hated every bit of it. Who would have ever thought I would be sitting here watching and reminiscing about the good old days when life was fun, and I just didn't know it was fun... One of my Grandfathers had a John Deere M also. I love the way they sound. Thanks for posting! : )
Beautiful tractor. It amazes me just how well they were made to last as long as they have. I can't see these new tractor's holding out near as long. Nice video.enjoyed it.
Your gonna love it 😀 they are simple and powerful and I'll never sell mine. They really have a big personality. Thanks for watch feel free to ask questions if needed
My can’t do it in third either. Different soil. Got more clay here. But we can get it done in second. Sometimes have to put it in first and ride a wheelie through some.. lol
Com arado reversível vossa excelência teria muito mais resultados práticos com sua aragem de terra , o trator John Deere 1948 é demais de bom. ( Viva ) 😁😁😁
I started driving a tractor at about 9 years old, it was a JD M. The next one was a JD 830 , GOOD DAYS. 😊

Nice tractor. I have an MT
I’m impressed it could handle it in 3rd. Perhaps ours needs a tune up 🤣
could be i know the engine in mine was rebuilt decades ago with .45 over pistons but it has many hours on it since then.
Have you compared the plow depth? His plows are not set very deep. If they were much deeper, his would probably struggle a little bit too.

Does a nice job

That is wild!! 2nd gear here for plowing. That soil is very nice where are you located? No rocks either!!
I’m in northeast Ohio this field is located in Ashtabula Ohio
What rpm is necessary to do this in 3rd gear?
Informacion , me diga quantos horse power tem esse John Deere ?
Your plow is missing the big metal wheel at the back. Unless my m 2 row is different than yours.
its there just not entire visible in the video
Now do 40 to50 feet in pass that was 20 inches wow
I need one how much do you think I should pay for one
For the plow I see then between 150-300 depending on condition. Tractor wise a nice one is about $2500-$4000 in my area
