Yes beautiful queen. Teach us natural sisters how to embrace their natural hair no matter the length. I use the curl sponge on my short type 4c hair using the LCO method and get so many compliments, I will definitely continue to use my curl sponge as my twa expands. Thank you.

You just gave me hope. Lol, just did a big chop to remove my perm ends. I have a 4c twa but I haven’t been natural since last year. I feel like I’m starting all over again and don’t know what to do. Imma use my sponge brush. Easy 🙌🏽

I love me 2 sponges, I have the Magic Twist and Nudred. I did the big chop, so now I have about 3 inches. I don't use combs and brushes a lot, so I depend on my go 2's

Greetings, it works better on short hair but they do have a different one for longer hair, which looks like sponge teeth.
I think when your hair is long sponges with bigger holes is better?

Does it cause tangles? Or single strand knots?
Not for MY hair. I can not say for others because hair textures and types are different. My hair rarely ever tangles. My curl pattern is a bit loose.
Oh...... I'll stay away then cause my hair tangles, mats and break off like no body's business
To prevent from tangling, you spray water or some your oil on the sponge

No I don't experience tangles at all. It has a lot to do with hair type and mine does not tangle easy with sponge or a brush

my hair is naturally curly , but since its so long it falls down to my eyes , i bought a sponge to try out a new style be using my afro brush and then using the brush , my question now is it okay to use the sponge with my hair slightly wet ? im male btw

Thank you for the share. Your hair is so beautiful! I guess I take lazy to a whole other "L", as my kids say, because I just use my hands to make my curls. I would love to buy a sponge like that, but I don't have any beauty supply stores close to me. Do you know if it's available online?
I've only ever used my hands also and always get good results. Plus even though sponges give great results for these ladies I'm scared of what it may do to my ends.

+Chocolate Butterfly no problem! I have a TWA and I never protective style so I'm cognizant of my ends since they're always out. kind of why I stopped doing Bantu knots the last time I was natural with longer hair. The results were always good but the pulling at the ends scared me lol.
I agree! Most people know their hair and that is so refreshing to know that. My hair does not tangle easy at all because of my hair texture and type. It all depends on your hair. IF you haven't tried it, you may not really know, but if using your hand has worked for you....I would suggest that you stick to it. Using my hand didn't work and it never gave me the results I wanted while my hair was long. But it did when it was short.
IF you are still interested in trying it, its very inexpensive on EBAY or Amazon.

huh???? What does that mean....lol. I really don't think their is a such thing as over moisturized with natural hair.....lol. Other than it being soak n wet after a cowash or something....lol
ok, I was told other wise, I have to do some research on it, I will try to type it in on google, I was told I can over moisturized.
it can be over moisturized. you can tell when your hair is sort of gummy and stretches very far without snapping back
@@KionnaSharice I thought that was protein overload that made the hair gummy and stretchy.
@@inpow7019 protein overload will make it feel super dry and crispy, may even snap off if it’s really bad
