The tree at 2:30 adds so much to the overall feel of the photograph. Beautiful composition, Adam. I cannot get over when autumn chooses to start and end in the North West.
Such beautiful images. You are so gifted and skilled. Actually I was thinking how great they would look as a full wall. Have you thought of an exclusive wallpaper? Imagine a whole wall in a bathroom or study. How relaxing.
I especially enjoy when you describe the composition you're trying to achieve, followed by where you place your camera to achieve that vision. Then, as a bonus, you frequently describe alternative locations, lens options and camera settings you considered when shooting the same scene. Great job! Thanks!
Thanks for another wonderful set of images. I think I like the third image best, because of how the foreground leaves and the trees back and right team to frame the cascade. This is the best time of year for landscape photography.
Excellent images Adam thanks for sharing this episode especially with the autumn colours. The one with the swerling leaves was a class photo. Keep up the good work
Another interesting and helpful video. Its timing is perfect for us here in Niagara! Regarding leaky boots, I use a product called Shoe Goo to seal small rips and tears! Adam, and it seems to work well.
Well don’t let anyone say you shouldn’t keep photographing them triple falls lol they’re spectacular! I do love them Fuji files Adam, I think they really suit your style of photography
Beautiful compositions. I love the framing technique you used for multiple images in this video. Great content and the image you made with the swirling water was really nice. I had seen that technique used before by a photographer in the states but wasn't quite sure how they did it. All the images on this video were in my opinion excellent especially the pano.
Great photos! I really love the image with the swirl. I find revisiting the same location can either ignite my creativity or leave me with a mental block on what to shoot that hasn't been shot before. Loved seeing your thought processes given the same situation.
Beautiful location Adam. Sorry to hear about the snafu with neighbors but glad to know you have an alternate route to the falls ( thought that only happened here in Oregon!). Really like the shot from down the river. Thanks for a glimpse into your backyard!
Fantastic as always. Really loved the last image with the swirling leaves. Thank you for the time you put in to make these videos for us. Much appreciated.
Great video Adam. Great location too. I had a woodland not far from home change its paths due to the same issue. Didnt really matter much as the new paths created by the woodland trust were much better. Loves the images during this and had a lovely pace to it. Thanks for sharing!
I will definitely need to visit Vancouver Island someday! Very peaceful and scenic. Thank you for taking us along, and good luck plugging the hole in your boots!
I love your videos so much that I tend to become a bit TOO engaged. At about the 6:10 mark, I was trying to guess if that bit of brush dangling from your elbow was going to fall off or not. 🤓 Another excellent video, of course. Cheers!
Nice waterfall. Fall is my time of year. It's when I take the most photos except for photo trips out West. In fact, I'll be heading to the mountains here for the next two days to shoot Fall color. And I always end up shooting waterfalls regardless of the season.
Another awe inspiring video Adam. I enjoy how you talk through the creative side of your composition. Great captures! The swirl should go on your webpage :-).
Especially liked the shot of the falls on angle w/ the leaves on the rock in front. There were just little sprites of light hitting spots that were also quite nice in that one.
The image at around 11:40 with the leaves in the foreground is quite lovely. I don't often have access to waterfalls, but the odd time I've tried to photograph one, I've been disappointed with the results. The temptation is to be so wowed by the falls that you focus entirely on them; but their impressiveness when you see them in person rarely seems to translate into an impactful photo. It seems the secret is to find framing elements that show the falls in their wider context. Such a composition is not always easy to find.
Lovely images, Adam (no surprises there…); especially the one with the foreground swirl. Bizarre how it’s almost square in shape! Beautiful place. 👍🇦🇺🦘
Now I have to go back and compare your shots of the waterfall with the swirling water/leaves with the previous version. Enjoyed the trip! Thanks for taking us along!
Adam, Some really nice images from this shoot and nice you were able to come away with some different compositions of this beautiful spot. Very enjoyable to watch as always. Thanks, Nick
Adam I enjoy how you walk us through your shot and tell us how you are setting up your composition. I have a question about your camera and your experience with it. Another RUclipsr whom I think you know who shoots with the GFX 100S recently said that since switching to the Fuji he needs to focus stack much more frequently than he had to with his prior camera systems. Have you had a similar experience?
Depends, if you do a lot of grand landscapes with immediate foregrounds then yes. Since the camera is ‘medium format’ depth of field can be a an issue.
I NEED to get out with my camera!! Sigh, life is such a wanker sometimes. Beautiful scenery and shots as usual! Enjoyed following along with you! Cheers, Adam!!
Adam, beautiful shots as always. Your last shot, I believe it was 13 sec, did you do an exposure stack? The foreground @ 13sec and then something much shorter for the background to prevent motion in the leaves?
A beautiful 'V' gap in the ferns framing the lower falls... but I know that was certainly your carefully selecting the position... definitely prefer the polarized version... love the Kase combination of ND and C-Pol... you utilize them so well for the beautiful image from the upper falls
The swirl of the water in the final image might be best served with a crop of just that for a complete image leaving out the waterfall. Just a thought.
Thank you for another amazing video! I just hope one day I can be half as good a photographer as you are! Is that some sort of custom I piece you have on your camera? Sean
Really enjoy how you describe what you aiming for with your compositions and how you set your camera up to achieve the shot. I’m interested to know how much kit you carry around with you on a typical shoot: you seem to have a number of lenses and filters as well as the 100MP behemoth + tripod + video gear. Do you have an assistant working behind the scenes with you on these shoots?
Hi Adam. We know you love your wellies so that hole will be annoying! I got a small puncture in a pair of muck boots. Came good with a waterproof glue designed for the task. Still going 5 years on. You mentioned before a similar problem I have with them which is poor grip. I see on insta you’re in Scotland at the moment. Have a look at wellies if you are still here and you need a replacement pair. Hoggs of Fife do a vibrant soled pair that look good. All the best.
@@QuietLightPhoto yeah Muck Boots are mega comfy. Just wish sole was a little grippier. Swing by Dumfries if your travels allow and I’ll give you the glue and a coffee!
Love these images, the compositions were very very nice. It is hard to tell without having the RAW and JPG sitting next to each other but it looked like the yellows in the RAW images were a bit more vibrant, did you tone it down in post? Thanks
Adam, I was going to get some "Muck-like" boots for this winter. Bad luck for you with that leak and the resulting soggy feet. What brand/model do you have...perhaps I'll won't consider them, when it comes time to purchase.
Thanks Adam. That is not comforting that the Muck boot company is turning out products that have a poor longevity! Changing the topic, now that the border is going to be opened, will you travel to the US to shoot some videos (Washington, Oregon, Montana, etc.)?
Like your waterfall shots , natural and simple processing of the same. Would dare to call you a Grandfather of Woodland/Waterfall shots. Off topic, I see you have an FLM Tripod, I am in a search for a new one, one lifetime Tripod. Have one in sight, FLM CP-34 M4 II, any opinion/recommendation?
I bought muck boots a while back after seeing you use them ( I don't like flip flops). They are a great "photographic tool". I am concerned about the leaking you mention. Why do you suppose they did and how long have you been on this pair?
Great video Adam! Loved that image with the leaves scattered in the foreground. So, why is it called Triple Falls but only has 2 tiers? (This is what keeps me up at night. Haahaa)
What a wonderful hidden gem. I usually see your videos on the first day they are released. However, this one does not appear on your main page. I found it near the bottom of your waterfalls playlist. Now I must search through your other playlists to see if there are other hidden video. BTW, this is the first time I have ever been the first person to "give it the old the thumbs up." Cheers!
There are always hidden gems 😉 Did you see the one with the bear and the bearspray test? Think it vanished 😂 Time to go, light‘s nice and autumn colors in the woods are great. Greetings from Germany, Tina
Especially LOVE the last photo of swirling leaves in the foreground!
Great images. Born from your imagination and versatility. Respect. 👍👏
Love your style of talking through compositional and technical issues as you go. Last image stunning
Especially liked your last composition 👏🏻
All Good. Love the final image with swirling leaves
Good job Adam!! I love waterfalls and every time I can I try to capture their beauty. Thanks for sharing.
Nice choice of music.
(an addition rather than a distraction)
Again thanks for including your RAW files and the processed files.
Gorgeous images. I did enjoy this very much! Thanks for taking us along!
Great, the last shot is fantastic, a very nice rotating leaves galaxy in the water ... thanks !!!
Wow, lovely place!
Beautiful location - master photographer - what could be better?
The tree at 2:30 adds so much to the overall feel of the photograph. Beautiful composition, Adam. I cannot get over when autumn chooses to start and end in the North West.

Another super installment.
Hey Adam, beautiful bubbles vortex!
Another over crowded tourist spot, You lucky dog! Nice vid.
Lovely images.
Adam; what's up? You definitely hit the mark with this waterfall. Bothe regular as well as the pano; great subject choice!
Great video and stunning photos, Adam.
Fantastic pictures!
Beautiful set of images. Love autumn.
I especially enjoy when you describe the composition you're trying to achieve, followed by where you place your camera to achieve that vision. Then, as a bonus, you frequently describe alternative locations, lens options and camera settings you considered when shooting the same scene. Great job! Thanks!
Fun times Adam 😉👍
Very peaceful and the compositions worked really well.
I like the way you often say “I think it might work,” and then you end up with a gorgeous photo.
One of the best videos that you have done lately!
Thanks for another wonderful set of images. I think I like the third image best, because of how the foreground leaves and the trees back and right team to frame the cascade. This is the best time of year for landscape photography.
It sure is John! Cheers!
Beautiful autumnal colours and gorgeous images, I especially loved the last one with the swirly leaves and water. Really creative and beautiful 🍂🍁😊✨
Stunning work.
It's a beautiful spot Adam. I can see why you go back. It's a good lesson on working the location.
Another lovely video Adam. I loved that you backed away from the falls. I often fall into the trap of photographing the falls and thinking I’m done.
Thanks buddy
Another master class in waterfall photography, thanks Adam!
Great ideas shared, thank you!
Thank you. Learning so much! Interesting to see the crispness in the foreground when you focus stack! Makes a huge difference!
Loved the video Adam also the images were beautiful!

Nice images.
Awesome photos!
The swirls add nice dynamics to the images ...
Autumn is lingering longer in your area. Here, in Central Montana, we're pretty much done. Another great shoot.
Great video. It's difficult to pick a favorite from all the really wonderful images. Thanks for sharing.
Well don’t let anyone say you shouldn’t keep photographing them triple falls lol they’re spectacular! I do love them Fuji files Adam, I think they really suit your style of photography

I had seen that technique used before by a photographer in the states but wasn't quite sure how they did it. All the images on this video were in my opinion excellent especially the pano.
Loved the last image and the framing for the final scene. Would make a great environment portrait, brenzier pano etc.
Loved this video.
Nice Images indeed of all shots. The last one is my favorite among this serie. Your old shot at 2:30....Wow!!! 😮❤
Very nice …. I like the tighter shot of down river at the falls
Beautiful images especially the last one with the circular water/leaf pattern..😃😀
Another cracking video Adam , very surprised and pleased to be able to say hello the other day at Loch Maree , hope you had a good trip
Thanks Andrew! Pleasure to meet you, great to put a face to a name.
Great photos! I really love the image with the swirl. I find revisiting the same location can either ignite my creativity or leave me with a mental block on what to shoot that hasn't been shot before. Loved seeing your thought processes given the same situation.

Love these double falls. I learn so much from you, thank you!

That shot with the swirling leaves in front of the waterfall; that was the absolute bomb. Good work Adam; good work! Peace!
Beautiful images - I like how you process the photis to retain a natural look.

Marvelous images! Great info!

Great video. I miss Vancouver Island so much. I will be back !
It will still be here😉
@@QuietLightPhoto Cool, in fact tomorrow I will go to England, to have a two day workshop with Simon Baxter
Really nice location and shots! 👌😀
A Classic AG on the AF 😂 with the BB. Very enjoyable chilled video 👍
Cheers matey!
Adam, beautiful shots as always. Your last shot, I believe it was 13 sec, did you do an exposure stack? The foreground @ 13sec and then something much shorter for the background to prevent motion in the leaves?
Yes I did
Great shots Adam! Really enjoyed the swirl one at the end. Good luck with some new boots!
A beautiful 'V' gap in the ferns framing the lower falls... but I know that was certainly your carefully selecting the position... definitely prefer the polarized version... love the Kase combination of ND and C-Pol... you utilize them so well for the beautiful image from the upper falls
Beautiful location, reminds me of a Bob Ross painting.
Another great presentation from one of the greats here on RUclips.
Images captured with thought and process.
Thanks for this one Adam.
Cheers
The swirl of the water in the final image might be best served with a crop of just that for a complete image leaving out the waterfall. Just a thought.
A most enjoyable video - Lovely shots Adam👌
Thank you for another amazing video! I just hope one day I can be half as good a photographer as you are! Is that some sort of custom I piece you have on your camera?
Sean
The piece on the camera is an angle finder made for the original Fuji GFX100
Very nice yes you luck out I was just there river was very high did get a few shots lol should get together you and Karen
I really enjoyed this video, the best in awhile. I learned a lot from this one. Thanks!
Always love your videos, Adam. Must be hard figuring out what you will do next but you never disappoint. 🙏
