    I gotta say it was difficult to choose between you and Joe Cross discount code. Joe is pretty much the face of NAMA. I went with you coz for years you have taught us how to to properly juice, helped us to make our minds about which juicer to buy to meet our pockets and our needs. I have supported Joe in other ways but it was time to show you my support and to tell you that I truly truly truly appreciate your free valuable educational videos. I hope other people get to support you and your channel. I wish you continued health.

    Bought my Nama J2 from discountjuicers a couple of months ago and it's ridiculous how much juicing I do...lol. I brought organic carrots and celery and because it's so easy to load the J2 I put all of the carrots in and then the celery. When it came time to reach for a carrot and celery for the soup I was making they were no where to be found. Lol! I love this juicer. All I need now is the accessories to store the juices longer. Thanks, John.

      The Nama J2 has been my favorite since I declared it so in June 2022. ruclips.net/video/9a9ZgbddIOE/видео.html It took me a good 6 months to learn about it and then finally come around to seeing the benefits it offers. YES, my previous favorite was the Omega VSJ843 that was reining champion for many years, until the Nama J2 came out and I experienced the ease of use it offers. That being said, the Nama J2 is my favorite juicer overall, I use 90% of the time. I do not expect any other juicer to become my favorite any time soon. That being said, I do have a Favorite Horizonal juicer, the Sana 727 as well as a favorite Twin Gear Juicer, the green star pro. I have my favorite travel juicer, the Shine XL. So it just depends on the specific task I am doing.

    I'm excited to say J2 has a nice design and It's assembled by credible manufacturer in Korea. but the machine comes with China motor, which was noticed during warranty service recently.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад +1

      As far as I am aware I have confirmed the Nama J2 Juicer is Made in Korea and is using a KOREAN made motor from a factory that has been making juicers over 40 years. Please provide pictures of the alleged Chinese motor in the Nama J2 Juicer, so I can investigate this allegation further, as this does concern me. That being said, The only people that should be opening up the Nama J2 for warranty repair is Nama, as opening your juicer may void the 15 YEAR motor warranty that is included on the Nama J2 Juicer. I highly doubt a company would offer a 15 year warranty on an inferior Chinese motor. Trust me when I say I have "over used" the Nama J2 on many occasions when I use it in great excess of the 30 minute recommended juicing time, and it did not fail me. I have done this same "torture" test with other brands, and they have let me down.

      @discountjuicers  2 года назад +1

      please watch my last video for how the J2 juices celery: ruclips.net/video/L77lEb1F2G0/видео.html I have not done a direct comparison against the MM1500 at this point. That being said, each machine has its own set of pros and cons. I personally, would NEVER buy a MM1500 but I would buy the Nama J2. Why? The MM1500 is made in china, and is not designed/engineered as "bullet proof" as the Nama J2. In addition, the Nama J2 is much easier to use, as you load it up, shut the lid and walk away. The MM1500 will force you to push each stalk of celery into the juicer manually and take up your time when you could be doing something else.

    I'm saving for a vacuum blender.. hopefull after the 1st of year.. but want to juice carrots.. is there an economical one that yields juice really good?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад

      For yield alone, a cheap high speed juicer is tough to beat when juicing carrots. That being said, high speed juicers don't juice leafy greens well at all, and can leave a fairly wet pulp when juicing fruits. Furthermore, I really dislike how the juice has a lot of air mixxed in, which oxidizes the juice and lowers antioxidant content, as well as storability. I would recommend a vertical single auger because they are easy to use. They make a higher quality juice than a high speed, but will also make less yield in general. The one I like now is the Shine XL ruclips.net/video/f3EsQ1EcDrI/видео.html

    I thought that you didn’t have to dice up vegetable with this juicer? I just bought it with your code. Did I misunderstand ? I thought whole apples could go in it? Can this make sorbets?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад +1

      Technically, you can put fruits and vegetables whole as long as they fit in the hopper, and shut the lid. The J2 will process whole fruits and vegetables without precutting if you desire. That being said, if you precut things, you can fill the hopper more efficiently, so you will have to load it up less, and the juicer will work better when juicing multiple items.
      So the Nama J2 gives you the choice to precut or not.
      You can easily put whole apples in this machine.
      This machine at present time does not have a sorbet attachment. I have been told Nama will come out with one at a later point.
      I have seen some people use the coarse screen and then REMOVE the black pulp plug from the outlet port, and then thaw out frozen fruits and put them thru the juicer to make sorbets as a temporary workaround. This workaround may not be approved by Nama.

      First link to tops: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B65MDRTS Second, I am not a fan of the MM1500, myself. It is made in China, where as the Nama J2 is made in South Korea. That being said the MM1500 is a horizonal juicer, that works different than the Nama J2. If you want a horizonal juicer, the best one is the Sana 727 that I also review in my videos and I would get that before the MM1500. The MM1500 can have some breakage issues from what I have seen as well as has poor tolerances of the parts IMO. I hope to review it in-depth soon.

      It took about 11 minutes for the juicer to juice from the time I put the cranberries back in with the other items. Keep in mind, the 11 minutes is time the juicer is running, but for the most part, I am waiting, and free to Do other things that I need to do. This is what makes the nama j2 unique, as other juicers, you would need to sit there and push each item into the juicer. I did not film prep time. That being said, you can do as little or as much prep as you would like. As I mentioned, I could have just thrown whole poms into the juicer without cutting off the skin, but the juice would taste alot stronger. I could have not washed my cranberries, and threw in the asian pears whole instead of precutting. Its your choice. If you put things whole, you will not be able to fit as much into the hopper, which means you will end up loading it more, and when you precut like I show, it makes for a better juicing experience as the juicer gets different textures to work with during the juicing process.

    My friend has a Nama J2 juicer and walked away from it and it did clog. And there are other juices that you are able to walk away from. Don’t believe that the Nama J2 doesn’t clog. There is not a juicer on the market that does not clog every now and then.

    I have a hard time trusting him sometimes. In his comparison with the Omega VSJQS and the Nama J2, the Omega outdoes the Nama J2. The omega juices more, less oxidation and stronger flavors, but he pushes this juicer because he has an affiliate with them. I can see the appeal for the Nama J2 because of the load compartment and it is a nice juicer but how can one say it's the best juicer when it was outdone by the Omega?

      Hi Jenna, thank you for your feedback. What it really comes down to is "your metric" that you feel is most important. If YIELD is the ONLY thing you are looking at, in the ONE test I did with the VSJ843 and J2, the VSJ843 did infact more yielld. Keep in mind if I juiced a different produce item(s) the Nama J2 might win. I basically say they are "evenly matched" as they use the same extraction technology. That being said, the main benefit of the Nama J2 is really not easily seen in a video. It is how you can load it up, and let it run without you. This saves the person work, and from feeding individual pieces of produce into the juice as well as saves the time in preparation and skill to properly use the juicer. You may not value these things, as you may want to do more work to get about the same amount of juice, and I respect that. This is what makes the Nama J2 special, and that is why I am a big fan. That being said, I do sell BOTH the Omega and Nama Juicers. I have had a relationship with Omega for over 20 years now.

    your pomegranate is not very ripe, when they're ripe the color of the grains is almost reddish black, you can also see the flower on the unopened pomegranate is not opened/bloomed yet

      not true. There are MANY varieties of pomegranates, some may be clear when ripe, some may be different shades, ie: pink when ripe. If this was the "wonderful" cultivar (most grown kind) they would not be ripe, but these are specialty poms from a local farm here :)
