  • John from www.discountjuicers.com/ shows you how you can easily bulk juice fast in the Nama J2 Juicer and make 7 quarts in 1 hour. Get $55 off the Nama J2 Juicer by using coupon code DJJ210 at Namawell.com. Order at www.bit.ly/j2juicer
    In this episode, you will learn how the Nama J2 Juicer can be used to make green juice for the week in just one hour.
    First, John will share with you his bulk green juice recipe, share all the ingredients with you, and tell you why he most often uses the Nama J2 Juicer to make his juice instead of any of the other juicers he owns.
    You will discover how John prepares the produce for juicing and how he loads the Nama J2 auto-feeding chamber so that it can do the majority of the precutting and do all the juicing so he doesn't have to.
    You will learn how long it takes to make 7 quarts of green juice with the Nama J2 Juicer, and learn how dry the pulp is.
    When John is finished juicing, you will discover what is left in the juicer that you will have to clean when you are finished.
    John will share how he is able to store his green juice for up to a week by removing some of the dissolved oxygen in the juice using a vacuum pump and foodsaver wide mouth mason jar sealer.
    After watching this episode, you will learn how you can easily bulk juice in the Nama J2 juicer if you are going on a juice fast, juice cleanses, or just making your green juice to drink each day.

    I love that you never had to clean out the filter during that whole process. My juicer filter gets full and would have needed to be rinsed at least 3-4 times, this makes the Nama 2 worth every penny!

    I just spent 38 minutes watching a man juice. You made it easy though and I’m so glad I saw this as I almost (right before the video) bought another juicer- that I can’t afford. This may not produce the same quality juice as the other, but this will fit my lifestyle better and I know I’ll juice more because of the ease. I’m going to buy this tonight, from you. Your energy is the kind that’s like “I’ll have what he’s having!” And best part is I *can have it! Last two years since having covid 3X my immune system has changed. I’m now allergic to things I never was and get skin reactions and rashes to the littlest thing. Recently I was bedridden sick w covid I literally heard a voice in my head (inner intuition) tell me to juice. That’s all I heard was one word- JUICE. I have a hurom and started again. It literally makes me feel high.😂 You also seem like you have that “juice high” which is infectious and I pick up your energy just watching. Thank you for this video. My hurom broke yesterday which made me come here. Glad I did. Keep doing what you’re doing. Your honest sales pitches don’t feel like sales pitches because I know people can tell you just want to help them help themselves. You’re awesome! And your skin is GREAT ;)

    Got my J2 yesterday, been using Hurom for years, great machines, but, as many have said, "This is a game changer". I juice kale, spinach, carrots, and celery usually for 2 days juice. Generally takes about an hour and a half from start to cleanup complete. This was about 20 minutes. Juice is noticably better flavor. Thanks bro, been watching your vids back to the Moringa vids you did. Moringa is out of season now, but, I'll be juicing those leaves soon too.

    ETA:
    YOU ONLY CLEANED THE SCREEN FROM INSIDE THE JUICER AT THE END? When I bulk juice using Kuvings C7000 I have to clean out a couple times or it is impossible to open. This machine you just demonstrated is IMPRESSIVE! PS I USE the bio chef I bought from you to vacuum seal!

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад +9

      thanks for the props. Correct, The Nama screen doesn't really get clogged with fibers as the Kuvings models can. I only cleaned the juicer ONCE at the end. If your juice is difficult to open, its a sign you may need to precut stringy vegetables smaller and/or slow down in how fast you feed the produce. See ruclips.net/video/g6Qt4pGCI4o/видео.html

    That pile of veggies looks like the base ingredients for my home made dog food. My baby has pancreatitis and slow thyroid, is always hungry, and does not like to drink water. So, she gets all this and more veggies chopped up (some cooked, some raw) with oats and ground flax, and she loves it. But even better, the vet said she's much healthier now. After watching all your recent juicer videos I'm going to buy the Nama J2 to make juice for me, use some of the pulp in breads and muffins, and in her dog food. It will be awesome! • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад +6

      This is for sure an EASY to use juicer for beginners, since it automatically cuts and feeds the juicer, so you dont have to, this ensures the machine is not clogged/jammed and reduces the #1 problem I see that customers have, so YES, i would recommend for beginners. Is it "best"? That depends on what you are juicing.

    Hey John, I really appreciate your content. Now that the Nama J2 European models are being sold, I got excited. HOWEVER, it seems that only the voltage has been adjusted, and not the frequency. The European models are 220v/60hz, even though Europe uses 50hz!
    That means the motor and cooling will be running at a minimum with 20% less efficiency and torque, so I'm wondering if it will still be the amazing juicer that it looks like in the USA models using proper voltage AND frequency.
    What do you think about this problem? Is it still worth it? THANK YOU for your answer

  • @daniela82492

    Hi John I’ve been going back and forth between the Nama J2 and the Sana 727. Would the Nama J2 juice ; dill, parsley, cilantro, and spinach? I also juice apples, celery, lemons, cucumbers but I’m more curious about the greens. I have tried to juicing greens in the past but I get no juice and end up loosing the product so I normally just blend them. I know from your other videos that unless I’m using a suction blender I’m really loosing a lot of nutrients. I’d like to start off with a juicer first. Thank you for all of your videos. They’re really informative. I’ve been watching them to help me decide what juicer to buy.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад +5

      Those herbs//greens tend to create lots of foam in traditional juicers. The Sana 727 would work a little better on the LOWEST RPM setting, but still those herbs dont contain alot of juice and they can get really clumpy. The BEST way to juice them along with apples celery and lemons and cucumbers is vacuum blending. See ruclips.net/video/7ILENcNpVOw/видео.html where I compare all of these ways when juicing and see the results. I would juice those items with watery veggies and the vac blend and strain for BEST results. Otherwise, the Sana 727 would be better, the Nama J2 tends to create more foam and doesn't "extract as much" as the sana 727 IMO, but for larger volumes is more convenient. That being said, it also depends on the quantities you are juicing of each item. I Would need an exact recipe with all the ingredients and amounts listed for a better recommendation.

      I have not made the Gerson green juice in the nama J2, but this videos shows me making 7 quarts of some of the more difficult veggies to juice. I make a recipe similar to this every week. The gerson green juice appears to contain:
      6-7 big leaves (with stalk) of romaine
      Red leaf lettuce
      2-3 leaves of escarole
      2-3 leave of endive
      3-4 leaves of red cabbage
      2-3 young inner beet tops (inner leaves)
      2 leaves of Swiss chard
      A quarter of a green bell pepper
      3-4 leaves of watercress
      1 medium green apple, Granny Smith or as sour and hard as possible
      which the nama J2 could handle. That being said, the Nama J2 is not recommended by Gerson to make the gerson green juice. The only juicer recommended by gerson is the Pure Juicer that costs $2500. Furthermore, the recipe contains many leaves and only an apple as the ingredient that is not a leaf. For this style recipe, I would recommend the Sana 727 over the Nama J2 due to its high leaf content.

  • @einanderer2738

    Hi John.
    Living in Germany it’s not so easy (although possible) to buy Nama J2.
    Alternatively we could easily buy Hurom H320.
    Will you make a comparison between these two?
    Nama told me that the only technical difference is that J2 is slicing a bit faster.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  Год назад +2

      The H320 is not available in the USA, so I Can not test or compare. Based on my test of the H300, I would get the Nama J2, due to the motor and the hopper differences.

I am in a low carb diet so i dont really eat a lot of fruits so will it be worth getting the nama juicer in my case?

    would the juicer could do cabbage and leafy greens like parsley??? cabbage is really hard, normally i use a centrifugal one but always is a mess and the residue that comes out is always wet. will this be good for that? Cabbage is really good for stomach ulcers.

    So if you use the foodsaver, do you not have to fill the jars to the brim? Or, is filling the jar to the brim just a myth. Love your videos. Thanks for responding! Happy juicing! 😋

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад +4

      filling the jars to the brim is an OLD technique before vacuum sealing. It is an inferior way of storing juice, in my opinion (I stored that way for MANY years) the thought is to remove the extra air space.
      Vacuum saving jars not only removes AIR from the head space, a strong vacuum pump can also remove dissolved oxygen from the juice, which ensures your juice stays fresher longer, IMO.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  Год назад

      Tessa, Depends on how you define good? The Nama J2 CAN juice carrots for sure. See ruclips.net/video/JZtKJiSiZtI/видео.html where I juice carrots and other root veggies.
      I would say the green star is more effective at grinding carrots and juicing them, but the green star is also alot more work and cleaning as well.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад

      Yes, I just spoke with Omega and they promised to send me samples. That being said, it should get results similar to the MM900 model. I have heard Omega also tweaked the green outlet knob so it does not back up as much and hopefully will reduce oxidation.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад

      Hopefully later this year. In general, I am not a fan of 2 stage juicers due to the work involved, and the longer cycle time, plus I feel the juice does not contain as many phytonutrients.

  • @thereshopeforallofus2487

    John if after you load this juicer up could you enclose the whole juiser in a plastic bag and then suck out all the air in the bag before you turn on the juicer, would this be a good thing to do to keep the juice from oxidising?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад

      That is possible, but the problem is the juicer was not designed to be put under vacuum that may negatively affect the seals and other components in the juicer.

  • @anniebee3710
    @anniebee3710 Год назад

    Impressive. I currently use the omega juicer cnc80 and I have to press the pulp in a bit milk bag because the pulp is so wet. Also, do you find the turmeric stained the juicer? I’m considering getting the Nama

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  Год назад

      Turmeric will stain ALL juicers. Scrub with water AND SOAP right after juicing to help get them off. Then leave in the sun that will remove stains of plastic.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 года назад +3

      least cutting? I could recommend another juicer for sure. But then you have to do more PUSHING and it will take more time. It really comes down to how you define "best". If there was a easier juicer to use for this recipe, trust me, I would use it, since I basically make this recipe on a weekly basis. Every juicer has its own set of pros and cons. That being said, in most cases, I use the Nama J2 these days because it is just "easier".
