    Yea that rear fenders looking much better now and I am a fan of the cutting board idea too... gritshift makes a peg spacer bar for the talaria but yes they're not interchangeable. Great video. I'm hoping to get some new forks on my bike soon and a sintech would be super dope 👌 but prob not going to be able to afford that for some time. They're mass producing them for the talaria bike tho so that's good news.

    13-15 KTM SX rear fender fits the talaria almost perfectly. The back of the seat shape is basically identical so it sits at the right level. Slight modification needed, just like any fender you put on.

    • @electricisbetter

      Didnt go back to stock battery, but I did go back to stock x controller. Basically to offset the cost of buying the new bike. Plus, I didn't need my Sur-ron to have insane power if I wasn't going to ride it as much.

    I've been wanting to get a surron, but when I saw that the talaria sting was coming out I decided to wait. Then I saw that the sting around 160 lbs versus the surrons 110 lbs. I like all the updates on the sting but I don't think it justifies adding 50 lbs. One of the most attractive features about the surron is how lightweight it is compared to an actual dirt bike. Can anyone enlighten me on if need two bikes really have this big of a difference in weight or if somebody messed up in reporting online. Do they feel similar when riding that the weight doesn't make a difference?

      My fully modded surron with 21/ 18 mx wheels weighs around 140lbs. The light weight makes these bikes amazing. I still have a stock surron at 110lbs and it rides a lot different and jumps way different then my modded bike with 30 more pounds.

      Both the fox and the Dorado perform pretty similar. I've never had Fox 40s, but I love my dorados. High is pretty good. I'm 6'1 and I'm fine with the pro taper two and a half inch rise with a 3-in rise handlebars also.

    • @EssPhour
      @EssPhour 2 года назад

      The Surron has a narrower rear swing arm that alone could pressent problems, its possible the whole Sting frame is wider to house the geared motor, If I had to venture a guess I would say that it wont be backwards compatible, but a lot of things are possible depending on your skill level and resources for fabrication.

When I ordered Luna bars I took 2 surron 48t sprockets cause they are dumping them for $5 a piece. Can't beat that when up in Canada. Thank you for the compliment on the channel! Probably have to add a couple links. My 58t sprocket needs a 114 link chain, so it's probably around 104 link for the 48. Little tip, I've found that the adjustment bolts for the rear axle are way too short for the bike. Only about an 1 1/2 inch long. Can't even adjust the chain to full length. I'd take those out and get a couple 2 or 2 1/2 inchers front the hardware store.
