@Hakim Mohamad there are supplemental means: Bile salt boosters to help facilitate the function of fat metabolism in the body. Also creating a dietary/supplementation plan in correcting possible vit\mineral deficiencies can help functional imbalances.

I had gall bladder problems in the early 2000's. I went to the emergency room 2 times and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. The 3rd time I went to the emergency room and they couldn't find anything, I said 'why don't you check my gall bladder'. They laughed, but did a scan and were surprised that I was right. I went in to the hospital in 2005 for gall bladder removal. In 2008 I started having the same symptoms. I went back to the hospital and was told that it was my gall bladder. Hmm, I said. That's funny. I had it removed in this hospital in 2005. Well, you should've seen the look on the tech's face. She went and got the head of radiology and he couldn't explain why I had a gall bladder. I called my regular doctor and she actually told me that it had 'grown back and I would need it removed again'. I laughed at her. I found out that birth control pills effect the gall bladder, so I stopped taking them. A week later I was symptom free and I have also never trusted a doctor since then.

Suffered 8 years with extreme symptoms and was told it was stress, anxiety, depression, and attention seeking behavior. I have changed doctors so many times and finally my newest PCP had a second HIDA scan done with ejection fraction and they could see pain. My gallbladder was functioning at 17%. My PCP arranged an appointment with the surgeon and in less than 2 weeks my gallbladder came out. The surgeon said the surgery was justified because the gallbladder was so scared from years of attacks. My digestive issues are not perfectly resolved, but I am finally feeling so much better! I got so choked up thanking both my doctor and my surgeon for finally believing me. Now I’m looking to take care of what’s left of me because surgery is hard to recover from at an older age.

I had sudden bouts of excruciating pain for over 10 years. They usually came on in the afternoon or evening and would last up to eight hours. Every position was torture. So i used to kneel on the floor so nothing could touch my stomach. I always thought these attacks were trapped wind. Anyway i started getting bouts of going instantly freezing cold throughout my body. It happened at work once and paramedics were called as i couldnt stop shivering from the cold ( it was a hot day). Paramedics knew this was a sign of infection . I was on an antibiotic drip in hospital for 10 days but the doctor said i looked so ill still that they would remove my gallbladder, rather than keep trying to treat it in the future. The scan showed gallstones in my gallbladder. Every time i ate a lot of fat it would set off the bloating and chronic pain. So glad they took my gallbladder out, been pain free ever since (10 yrs)

At 76 yrs of age my husband was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. That very long ongoing traumatic experience could write a book-made-into-a-movie! He survived for 13 more years (before emphysema took him from us).
We were told his cancer had 80% chance of coming back but it never did. Because of his age and frailty they wouldn't give him chemo or radiation. . . But his body craved fruit constantly which he would gorge on. We always believed the fruit is why the cancer didn't come back.

I almost died passing a stone that got lodged into my liver duct. Pancreatitis as a result, by the time I got into the ER I had about an hour to live. Went in Sunday night, woke up Friday afternoon. I was 23. They said it was from caffeine. I had it removed and I've never had a problem with digestion since. I used to suffer horribly from constipation and I haven't had that problem since. Also, it's like one of those things where you don't know how crappy you feel until it's removed. I remember being like 'wow! I literally feel so much better!' I had no idea how sick I was feeling until the problem was removed. I don't regret having it removed at all. That was 16 years ago.

I have been lifting heavy weights for 35 years, eat healthy, exercise, drink a gallon of water a day, and have a consistent sleep schedule- 7-8 hours each night. I don’t have much fat on my body. I had gallstones 25 years ago. The first 2 times I went to emergency, the first doctor said I had an ulcer, second doctor upped the ulcer meds. The third time I went the doctor took one look at me an ordered an ultrasound which showed I had a duct full of stones and had to have emergency surgery. I am very grateful that the doctor did laparoscopic surgery and zapped the stones instead of removing my gallbladder, he did not believe in removing organs. I’m also grateful for this video as well especially when he mentioned about the nerve that goes up the neck, I’ve had issues with the right side of my neck for years and I know there’s something up with my gallbladder and liver right now because I can feel it, there’s no other way to say it other than I just know.

Make sure you don't eat low fat diet which promotes formation of gallstones. If you don't eat enough fat with your meals, take a spoonful of olive oil twice a day. Lack of fat prevent bile from being released and that bile eventually forms stones and congests the gallbladder.

27 months ago I started lchf and IF due to various health issues. I didn't know it at the time but my gallbladder was not working well and was full of .5cm stones. I'd been having a few attacks a year for a couple of years. The large amounts of fat consumption on keto really brought on multiple attacks. As soon as it was diagnosed the doctors wanted it out despite the fact that it wasn't inflamed and the wall was thin. I did my research and decided to keep it. I made some changes in the types of fat and massaged it daily. Despite it improving the surgeon still wanted it out but I continued to refuse. It continues to improve and I've only had 1 mild attack in 1.5 years. Thanks again Doc.
