The Jimny has been one of my favourite cars because of it's identity. It's not a big car, but it's a proper bundu basher one can take on a natureboy trip. It's not luxurious, but that's not it's point. It's not the roomiest, but its economical. It's a car I could buy just for the vibes of being a natureboy 😂🤩

I'd pick up the forest jungle green but red and yellow do look stunning too. Very nice intro video, covers most details potential buyers are likely to ask for thanks so much for that. Here in Costa Rica the GLX Automatic version will start to be sold next year for about $36.900 USD

I've had my Jimny for 2 months now and it's been a jol and a little bit of frustration. Frustration because sometimes it rolls forward or the clutch becomes a tiny bit hard. I don't think it's a mechanical error. I just need training. I have no regret purchasing it (eyed this car since 2014).

Nice review ! I like the colors Jungle Green and Chiffon Ivory, sadly we don’t have both these colors in India, so I opted for Granite Grey. The good thing about the Granite Grey is that the plastic side claddings and bumpers etc. all blend in the Grey color and make the car look proportionate.
Yes, that's what I think. Even black color doesn't really match. I alai don't really like 2 tone color, so takyah. So the all grey is chef's kiss
I love everything about the Jimny except the rear window. I know it needs to be thicker on one side for structural support, but why not make both sides thick? I know, I know, visibility kosokoso.
Also, the 3-door has many aftermarket tanks that double the fuel capacity. I hope the 5-door will get the same love on the accessories front.

Is there no parcel shelf? They went to the extent of making the car longer and adding 2 doors and 2 more seats. But adding 2 cupholders and a USB port and an armrest is where they draw the line!

best solution to the engine being "underpowered" is getting the Rotorex supercharger kit, you get a decent bump in power while maintaining all the low-end usability unlike a normal turbo system

I'm no longer the target market for a new car. But if I was looking, the 5-door Jimny would certainly be amongst my favourites.

Thanks for the review, Mr HowMuch. I own the very same Jimny in India and I'm pretty sure these cars you drive there are made in India. COuld you confirm this please ? Check the VIN plate of the manufacturer and it should be there. It even has the same tyres ! The GL is called the Zeta here and the GLX is called the Alpha. The Zeta does not get the gunmetal grey alloys, but black steel wheels. However, all variants get 6 airbags in India. Warranty terms are pretty much similar. It's a cute little car, but mighty capable.
This Vidoe is cool. I need one jimny free in Nigeria I’m a lover. It’s not popular in my country we drive more of luxuries cars but i prefer a road off jimny . I only saw one old 90s models in Lagos once . Isuzuki send one free for me in Lagos to advertise and get 10 clients for you for one month 💯🇳🇬

Hey Guys, I've had 5-door Jimny for few months. Here is my review, something that you will instantly feel is the lack of power. Apart from that everything is fine. Milage will improve after first service. My car is now going 12-16kpl after three months of ownership. 4L is good enough to get you out of most situation.

Is the 5 door unstable / easy to turn over? Seeing that it is a 5 door with the same width as the 3 door. Also, wont the 5 door eat into the sales of the 3 door and ruin what made the jimny special in the first place?
