Pretty cool it still includes controllers, from the rumors/leaks we thought it would have no controllers relying entirely on hand-tracking, albeit at a $200 USD price point. Actually, maybe that'd be a cool Quest 3s variant... I'd definitely buy it, $200 is like perfect "new tech impulse buy" pricing, and it could be more marketed as an Apple Vision Pro competitor. (Since the Quest 3 does all that spatial computing stuff, but for way, way, way less.)

As a quest 3 owner I feel if you have access to a parents quest 3 but will use the "s" as your main I don't think you'll feel left out. Quest 3 doesn't feel like a "cool buckly vr headset" you see in the sci movies and its still a hazard/whole thing to put on your face.( Don't get me wrong the friction to enter into VR is ten times less. My Quest 3 actually isnt collecting dust) The quest 3 S doesn't look too bad next to school kid's telescope and probably suit's their wider faces better

what is the difference between quest 3 and quest 3s I've seen the trailer and it looks like it does the same except having a different design

lens and resolution, storage...the 3s uses the same lens as quest 2...quest 3 has much better clarity over the 3s
