9:03 actually you can use an adapter that has a headphone jack and charger combined. I bought one for my Pico 4 and it works just fine. USB C to 3.5mm Headphone and Charger Adapter, CableCreation 2 in 1 Type-C.
Kinda surprised they went back to glasses spacers being a separate piece again. Also even more surprised that even though the depth sensor is missing it has built in ir emitters which is an improvement over the regular 3 in terms of tracking in the dark. Might get a type c IR emitter for my regular 3 lol.
Hey, if your main use case is going to be PCVR, I would recommend the Pico 4 over the Quest 2 or 3S because it has better lenses and better resolution than both
Its confirmed that Quest 3S have better upgrades ir sensors for mixed reality tracking on low light conditions or even full darkness over the original Quest 3. You get "low light" warnings on the Quest 3 while on the 3S you get full hands tracking in complete dark environments. So yeah people who bought the original Quest 3 are pissed over this because they thought the 3S would be worst on everything.
Still rocking the SD2! One of my favorite devices of all time. Been without one for over a year but always think about going back. No more updates though which is a bummer.

Not sure what happened to your left thumb, but I'm sure it was painful. I had the metal lid of a Smithrite garbage bin slam down on my thumb once... nail fell off, grew back, then fell off again. 😋

Try to DON´T buy the offical Accessories, go with 3rd Party. They are cheaper and some are even way better. The Elite Strap for example is known to break! .. (a freaking 150 Bucks Produkt..) Watch a few Reviews and choose wisely!

You can easily spend the same or more as the headset on accessories. Another company which copied the homework from Apple very well :|

For us using third party head straps, the factory default version might not be perfect in terms of comfort, but overall, the headset is fine. Mentioning this could have a really negative impact on those who are new to VR and looking to buy their first headset
The strap is good for the first like half an hour, than the pressure gets intense I still kept it because i like it's form factor, it's slim, you can lie down with it etc
@@SpidarDudei agree , this headset is made for kids or teenagers or people who are on budget. As a owner of quest 2 i can say it’s pretty comfortable with orginal head straps. I’m planing to upgrade to quest 3s for AR and better cpu for new games.

Why wouldn't you able to charge it while connecting a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter that includes an extra USB-C passthrough for power?
KKCOBVR A2 has a 3A port for a battery, and a Link port, which could be used for a headphone jack instead.
