I already have a Quest 3 and what I saw is that on meta site some configs of quest 3 are better than the Quest3S and Quest3S is only a “Quest 2” upgrade, it don’t have pancake lenses too, so I recommend if you have a Quest 3 don’t buy it.

Ima be dead honest I think that they pushed out some sort of update to slowly kill the quest 2 because a few weeks before they told everyone the quest 2 is officially discontinued all my friends quest 2 headsets including mine are all doing the same thing, the screen freezes until the battery dies, screen goes black for no reason, passthrough goes in and out and some of my friends headsets just stoped turning on and mine has started to do the same thing
Dang, this is making me feel better about not upgrading past v69. I'll factory reset after upgrading just in case. So far I haven't seen such issue (aside from the black screen freezing issue, but that can be fixed by holding the power button to reboot).

Yes, because the quest 3s is cheaper than the quest 2. The quest 2 is $380, and the quest 3s is $300. If you sell the quest 2 for about maybe $50 less due to it being used, and then buy the quest 3s, you’ll still have about $30 left.
I strongly disagree. Don't sell it. The 2 is too decent. It will be fun to game on for at least a decade to come (emulating retro games or playing standard def movies, for example, is arguably a worse experience on the higher res display of the 3). It's a great beater headset, and since you'd be lucky to get more than 150 dollars for selling it, you should keep it to share with friends or watch movies on. Selling your headset will not even cover half the cost of your 3s, so it's probably not worth it. And if you really can't afford to buy a without selling the 2, then you honestly shouldn't even be buying a headset yet, since that's only 3 days of wages even if you work at McDonald's.
I think Meta Quest 3S is good but i already have a Meta Quest 2 in my hand. Does this mean when it is discontinued then that means no more games being on meta quest 2? You can still play games.but certain games won't support quest 2, meaning games won't allow you to play them, you probably won't be able to call your friends anymore, it won't get updates, meaning it's gonna start lagging alot more.

i find it comical that the Quest 1 feels like its been wiped out of the minds of literally everyone, i might consider getting the 3s because despite it being the same lenses as the 2, it would still be better than my quest 1, for $100 less

the 3s has the same visuals as the quest 3 it just has the old lenses and the sweet spot issue shouldnt be an issue unless your eyes are out of line with the 3 options it has for lens adjustment, but other than that you cant really notice a difference in the displays and the resolution is the same anyway

@@mustafaa6931 For me 3S is absolutely not worth it. Even the smallest difference in resolution and picture quality is HUGE for todday VR - and between 3 and 3s is 30% difference in pixel number, and real difference in picture quality (different lenses)...
Your video, (and all videos I’ve watched,) fail to answer the simple question: how good is the productivity on Quest 3S? I’m sure the games are great, but can I actually do WORK on this thing? Can I use spreadsheets? Can I pair up my iPad to it or am I stuck mirroring a windows machine? Does this thing carry its own Microsoft Word app to avoid mirroring a computer? Can you please address these questions?
Regarding productivity I think it is good since you can use things like Remote Desktop inside vr to see your computer screen etc but I wouldn't yet use it as my daily driver for things like emails, editing etc. I hope that answer your question?

Plus when I looked somewhere else I kept finding the ones for 299 but then in description it said they're missing some components that need to be bought extra. May be also something useless and not actually needed but im all green because Ive never owneya VR set before
I left links in the description and they should be for the 500gb model at 500 and the batman game and $30 store credit are a free included extra so it wouldn't increase the price. I hope that helps?

For the quest 3 it is 1.5 - 2 hours. quest 3s lasts 2.5 hours
On paper the quest 3s should last you a bit longer like 30 min extra

i find it comical that the Quest 1 feels like its been wiped out of the minds of literally everyone, i might consider getting the 3s because despite it being the same lenses as the 2, it would still be better than my quest 1, for $100 less

yes you can, the 30$ credit should get added to your account as soon as you connect the headset to your meta account in the beginning setup

the 3s has the same visuals as the quest 3 it just has the old lenses and the sweet spot issue shouldnt be an issue unless your eyes are out of line with the 3 options it has for lens adjustment, but other than that you cant really notice a difference in the displays and the resolution is the same anyway

@@Sh1znitz yes it is supposed to be, but it is an upgrade to the quest 2 and is replacing it. It isnt supposed to be as good as the quest 3 its just so that there is a budget option for modern vr so that meta can cut off support for the quest 2
@ImSonnyReal quest 3 is my answer. The lense and a extra 100 bucks for 500 gigs is a win for me.
@@Sh1znitz i agree i think the upgraded lenses is definetely worth it if you have the money i dont see a point in buying the 256 model of the 3s especially because at that point you may as well go the extra hundred dollars and get the quest 3 especially now that the 512 gb model has been reduced to 500$ but the 3s is exciting because now even budget headsets can experience quest 3 exclusives

Meta store support cheats this 66 year old man on their birthday! 😢 chatted for 3 hours, run in circles and they wanted me to spend more. It may cost more to replace but if they cannot or will not fix a problem right, first time? It’s only as good as its weakest link.

@@mustafaa6931 For me 3S is absolutely not worth it. Even the smallest difference in resolution and picture quality is HUGE for todday VR - and between 3 and 3s is 30% difference in pixel number, and real difference in picture quality (different lenses)...

Your video, (and all videos I’ve watched,) fail to answer the simple question: how good is the productivity on Quest 3S? I’m sure the games are great, but can I actually do WORK on this thing? Can I use spreadsheets? Can I pair up my iPad to it or am I stuck mirroring a windows machine? Does this thing carry its own Microsoft Word app to avoid mirroring a computer? Can you please address these questions?
Regarding productivity I think it is good since you can use things like Remote Desktop inside vr to see your computer screen etc but I wouldn't yet use it as my daily driver for things like emails, editing etc. I hope that answer your question?
