I remember this was one of the first scp's I read and I'm pretty sure this narration keeps out one important detail: the age of the victims the Foundation use to lure the Old man back in.
I distinctly remember the original entry for scp-106 suggesting using individuals as young as 13 years old.
im not sure but i kinda remember that larry likes... young people. like preteens to young adults. im not sure if my mind connected the wrong strings but i am pretty sure the old man had this unsettling like for young "torture-able minds" besides his already creepy features and abilities.

Fun fact: His cage is special VERY special. It's made of several different layers of metals witn space in between them. Lead mostly but stainless steel and other anti-rust n dust materials. It floats in the air and helps ALOT with containing him. Even when he does try to get out and DOES get out, it takes quite a while and enough to help them deal with him.

Idk about you but I'm thinking the foundation does something to convince people to join, but the thing is: if you sign up you must has been A scammed, B lied to, C blackmailed, D white-lied about your role, E paid a ton (unlikely)
besides a reddit user once ask what if they where found innocent, it was agreed most likely the innocent d-class would receive amnestics and continue the pain and old text in the scp site said sometimes when out of d-class the may get refugees, people who were punished under 3 generation law/Chinese labour camp inmates or clones(theorised), so kind of a dick move of the foundation, but your point still stands.
The old man was turning, slowly, rocking in slow, side-to side motions. The crying was coming from the thing in his arms.
It was a torso, wrapped in masses of what looked like barbed wire. The wire threaded in and out of flesh, some places looking like the bleeding skin had flowed like warm taffy over it. The ragged remains of the limbs twisted and stretched, every movement making the wires dig and tear more. It was hairless, the skin of its bare head and neck looking peeled and rotten, the face a mask of pain. The throat had been…opened, carefully, twisted and held with wires. The baby crying was in fact this grown, mute torso, mutilated to make that pitiful, helpless wail.
The old man was watching him. Face turned, eyes locked to the man as he slowly tried to stand upright, ignoring the hissing of his boots, trying not to think of what would have to be done to a throat, to make it sound like a baby in agony…or where that pitiful torso's limbs had gone. It watched him, cracked teeth slightly parted, and slowly stopped its rocking. It dropped the wire-bound bundle, arms going limp at its sides as the mass of flesh and pain bounced off the ground, then rested face-down in the mossy grime, sending up a new wave of protest between bubbly, sucking breaths

I love the SCP foundations use of "advanced" tactical armor. They have security wear armor designed to defend against human weapons and assign them to contain creatures that don't use human weapons.
The armor is to kill anyone who tries to get into the containment facility. *There is no hope of defending against 106 itself.*

Awesome story and graphics as usual. The infographics show is one of my favorite channels here on RUclips. I truly hope everyone knows this story along with the others are 100% complete nonsense. Most people will say "no sh** Sherlock, it's just a story" however there are many people who actually believe this because it's delivered in context that sounds believable .... that along with the graphics has fooled many as sad as that is to say. Much of infographics is excellent content and true to form and they also provide fictitious content such as this which is also enjoyable but very much fictitious.
SCP-106 was my fist SCP and forever be my fav SCP. He is just so goofy in a way idk why.

@@slowandcalm3665 the best scp animation channels imo is scp illustrated and the rubber. Rubber explains stuff simply, and scp illustrated's art is so cool
