  • The 1/24 scale RC Jeep J10 is back! Is this tiny rig finally ready to conquer the trails? Today's video showcases my efforts to improve both the performance and reliability of this custom RC 4x4. Learning from both the successes and failures of some recent test drives, I've been gradually improving this custom 3D printed chassis. Changes have been made and the results are promising, but of course there's certainly still some room for improvement. A challenge for sure but also a lot of fun. 👍

The J10 returns! Plenty of potential with this platform, but clearly there is still some work to do. 🔧 As always thanks for watching everyone! 👍

Is this your side hustle by prototyping different platforms, for RC that can be either scaled down, or scaled up?

Amazing work, very beautiful truck and driving footage! We really need this body on a 1/10 or bigger truck. Would be cool to make a “Twister” version with Dorothy in the back.

You could drill into that post that broke, and use a drive pin from a rc an glue it in

What are you printing your parts in? PLA, ABS or PETG? I'd be curious to know.

Nice work. I understand you wanting to wait to release perfect/better STL files, but there is something to be said about the community helping making it better. I find other people come up with ideas I would have never thought of. Just food for thought.

Great looking truck! As a current owner of a 1:1 Jeep Gladiator, I feel like I bounce around that much on county roads. I like what you've done here and would take it off your hands as is, but my wife would probably leave me if I showed up with another RC. 00

Have you thought about using softer rubber tires? That might change the change the grip that the hard tires dont have...... Just a thought...

Use rubber tubes for power transfer on the joints

I wonder if it wouldn't be too hard to cut some thin brass or aluminum sheets and bend to create some leaf springs.
If this comes out, I'd try to replicate the springs with metal sheets. Some small snips and pliers/dowel could be used to bend and shape.

The hard part would be making them actually function as springs. Usually steel is heat treated to make it springy, I’m not sure if that process is the same on brass or aluminum.
