Donner B1 test with a PO-32 Tonic

  • Trying out the Donner B1. It’s a pretty cool acid Bassline synth and especially consider the price this thing is pretty good. I didn’t have much time so just brought out my trusty PO-32 to play the drums. ☺️

    You know you can sync them together through the sync out of the tonic into the sync in of the B1?

      Yes I know but I had issues with them not syncing… it seems that my B1 is a bit uneven on tempo. It’s very obvious when syncing it with midi when I can see the tempo it’s sending. I will try and update the FW and see if it get better. But you can also hear in this video that they get out of sync even when being at the same tempo and in sync at the start.

      @@Bobo In some cases this can be due to how the synch pulse is sent, its strength, and whether it is sent on the up or down beat, in some cases this is adjustable.

      @@realmchat6665 Yeah could be but the issue was they it was drifting mostly. So the sync was working it just didn’t stay synced.
