    and sometimes when your internet goes out for a short period, like my xfinity seems to do all the time, you have to unplug your fire stick from the electricity and wait a minute to reconnect then it will reconnect with the wired "ethernet" otherwise it might connect to wifi sometimes when the internet comes back on.

    I have a fire omni tv (usb 2.0) that is only 10/100… I have 300 Mbps internet plan. It is hardwired into my eero 6+ router, do u know if there is a device that would work with that and at least give me closer to my 300 Mbps speed? I tried a tp link Ethernet to usb 3.0 adapter and it didn’t increase my speed. Would really appreciate any insight thanks!

    • @DignitedTV
      @DignitedTV  Год назад

      Unfortunately you're limited to 100Mbp Max.

    • @mightyenigma1
      @mightyenigma1 2 месяца назад

      This is a limitation of the firestick (at least firestick 3rd gen). The firestick's usb port can only throughput at USB 2 speeds if I am not misinformed. So I think the best it can do is 100Mbps. I am not an expert though so I am not the final word on it. If you find a way to make it fast please share.
      I also wonder if its wifi adapter is any faster or slower than that.

    Can we get speed above 100 mbps on firestick using any specific lan adapter ?

    • @DignitedTV
      @DignitedTV  Год назад

      No you can't. Maximum supported speed is 10/100 Mbps Ethernet. Even for Fire Cube which has a built-in Ethernet port.

    • @Gogeta138
      @Gogeta138 Год назад +1

      Yes you can get more than 100mbps if you get the 3rd party ethernet adaper that has faster speeds and not the official firestick one. I have a set up like this myself firestick 4k i get 200-300mbps wired. :)

    • @Gogeta138
      @Gogeta138 Год назад

      I would also like to add same as the ethernet adapter, I advice you get atleast a cat6 ethernet cable which supports the high speeds. Peace ✌

    How's the Speed will it buffer? Plz reply

    • @DignitedTV
      @DignitedTV  Год назад

      It will only buffer if your internet service provider Network is unstable, but not because of environmental factors such as congested neighborhood or interference from your other devices or obstruction due to walls and floors.
      What Ethernet guarantees a stable connection of 100Mbps from your Firestick to your WiFi router.

    Doesn’t work with LG Tvs with a OTG cable. I have x2 LG Tvs (OLED) Front lounge and back lounge and it just doesn’t appear. Tried everything even down to lowering the display settings to 720p and still nothing appears. Works on my Sony Tv first time. Very strange but lg must not like them.

      I got the amazon adapter and it connected without doing anything else. In the white box it goes by and says ethernet configuration and wired (connected) I also turned off the Wi-Fi after connected with the wired adapter. I have a verizon fios router. I have 300 mbps speed with Wi-fi, but when I checked the speed with the wired , it was only about 97 upload and download. But I'll see if there's less buffering, which was the problem before.
