    This Kabab dish looks incredible. I can’t imagine exactly what it would taste like with the pomegranate marinade but I cannot wait to try it. Thank you once again for another fantastic video and also sharing the knowledge of where these wonderful dishes come from.

    Dear Yousef, thanks again for sharing the beautiful recipes. I am allergic to walnuts and pecan nuts. What could i use for replacement of the walnuts?

    • @CookingWithYousef
      @CookingWithYousef  3 года назад

      Maybe pumpkin seeds or sesame but honestly, i do not know how they will cook or what the flavor will end up being. You can just skip the walnuts too :)

    That looks really good! So the onions are just for the marinade and you don’t add them to the skewers?

    Was the "missing" herb fenugreek?

    • @CookingWithYousef
      @CookingWithYousef  3 года назад +1

      I believe it’s “choochagh”, not fenugreek

    • @camsaffari

      Blue eryngo

      @@CookingWithYousef I see. I asked my mom about this choochagh and she told me you couldn't even find it for sale in Tehran (during Shah's time). You would have to travel to Northern Iran to buy it. I wonder if this is still the case now.
