I think you mean 1960s. The one here on youtube was filmed in 1966. I also heard he was sick, but also angry at his treatment in America and did the katas that way on purpose. YOu can see how "wimpy" they are compared to the earlier films.
@quinteros1963 Haha, what I meant was when someone says "Ishin-Ryu" it actually turns up something about "Ishin-ryu" I see what your saying and I wasn't making any kind of "purest" statement, I was just laughing at how I would look for Ishinryu stuff and it would turn up videos of guys doing taekwondo high kicks, and I'm like "huh?" If I'm looking for judo I don't expect to see guys swinging escrima sticks under a video titled "judo."
Finally! pure IshinRyu, you don't know how many times I get a hit for IshinRyu and it turns up as something else.
