2023 Update. Ok. So I did both this Force Test and the Combat Force Test and I have feedback to provide if you want. Even if it helps one person, my job is done. 1) Prep I don't care if you're a special forces tier 1 unit operator or a national athlete. This test/workout is literally designed to get you panting and sweating. It's not that the motions and exercises themselves are hard. It's that these excersies are back to back and UNDER TIME. Which increases the pressure. BUT RELAX, I got some tricks and tips for you. Listen in. Prepare before the test obviously, but I don't mean lift weights or workout heavy. This is an endurance test. So get your stamina up. Replicate these exercises and try and chop down the times. So that on the day of the test, it's not your first time doing it. Trust me. I've done that. It will kick your ass. Even if you're a damn PT stud. 2) Nutrition Don't be an idiot. Don't eat alot before the test. Some do and they end up yaking it all out. Drink water. BRING ELECTROLYTES Eat a Banana or two an hour or two before the test. Trust me. Many have cramps on this test and that is not fun. You don't wanna be that guy. I've been there, others have been there. And its just not a good time. Learn from our dumbass mistakes. 3) Timing Ok. So, if it's your first time, you can ask the moderator or instructor to give you a half count. Meaning, when the clock hits halfway for an exercise (this excludes the drag). Your instructor can shout that out and it gives you a good basis. This is important, it can help calm you or speed you up. You might get this request rejected. Ask another candidate to do it. It's not against the rules. 4) Sequence Ok, so if you get the opportunity, strategize your sequence of the 4 exercises. Meaning: Do the Shuttle Rushes first. Then the Sand Bag lifts Then the Drag And finally the Loaded Shuttles My guys found this to be the easiest sequence. You want your power at the start and then close off with the 5:20 min exercise at the end. 5) The Shuttle Rushes If you're someone who gets dizzy easily or has poor coordination on your feet. Don't do this one first. Fit it in the middle 2nd or 3rd There's alot of spinning and up and down and I've seen people land on their face. 6) Sand Bag lifts Dude. SLOW DOWN. Everyone rushes the heck out of these. Unless you're trying to hit a PR. Slow down. You have tons of time. 3:00 mins is alot of time. That's about 5 seconds each. We tested this by doing 5 seconds between each lift and still passed. Slow down. You still have other relays to complete. 7) Sandbag Drag Don't look back. The area is cordened off and clear. It's human nature to look back when walking backward. Avoid this. You're just twisting your body into a judo throw with the damn sandbag. Just pull... Consistent rate. 8) Loaded Shuttles This feels like forever. But once you actually get started it's easy. You can literally jog on this one and you'll still make time. But put out, this one is the only exercise that takes into account your waist ratio measurement (They do this at the start of the test) . There's a reason for that. Doing this one last is a bit of a suck. You're tired, going in circles. Never ending. But just start and before you know it, you're set. They will prompt you to sprint on each relay (unloaded). You can, but tbh it's not necessary. And that's it. The combat fitness test is harder. It involves you in all your battle rattle and a ruck. But you can build up to it. Just add one piece of equipment on at a time and do this force exercises regularly. 9) Recover and Personal After Action Report Take a picture of the damn paper once you've done the test. You DO NOT want to do this again due to lost paperwork. Ask me how I know. Record your timing in a journal. Heck, use it for personal workouts. Find the weakest number and attack it head on. Yeah you're good at shuttles big woop. Can you do 40-50 sandbag lifts now in the same 3 minutes? Exactly. And that's it. Hope this helps. Go Without Fear.
Thank you for sharing all those great tips!!! My only comment is that the order of exercises is not flexible, you must do 1. 50m Rushes 2. Sandbag Lift 3. Intermittent Loaded Shuttle 4. Sandbag Drag in that order.
Hi mate just passed both tests today for Weapon tech and just wanted to say that the tip you gave about the bananas was realy appreciated!! You helped at least one recruit pass
MANY tips, recruiters are helpful and will answer any questions you have after they explain the test, the test is not as difficult as some people portray and mainly tests your endurance and willingness to push yourself to continue even if tired/thirsty (my mouth was dryer than the sahara by the loaded shuttles), pay attention, ask questions, stay hydrated, get a good sleep, not incredibly difficult and everyone i did the test with found the 20 metre rushes the most difficult part of the test, run, u can even practice 20 metre rushes in your park or on a field, for sandbag lifts i recommend filling your school bag (i’m 16) and doing squats while holding the bag infront of you. OVERALL MOST PEOPLE CAN PASS.
@@zainabwaseem8463 went good man. I passed both the first time around and did quite well on my FORCE test. I just got enrolled about a week ago and I start BMQ part time in September. My advice for both the FORCE test and the CFAT is to train the exercises and questions that are part of the tests. Do lots of running for the FORCE test if you want good times and practice lifting things rapidly. Also, practice the shuttle run movement quite a bit. If you’re good at getting up and down quickly you’ll get a much better time. I can’t really say anything about the CFAT but the training app that is mentioned in this video works well and is worth it in my opinion.
Sir, Thank you for your wonderful videos. This one helped me to clear my PROFS today morning. Few points I want to share on how I prepared. 1. I am 40 and 85 kgs. 2. Started training 1 month back, say around Sep 20, 2023 3. Total training days - 23 or 24 with breaks in between 4. Daily target of min 10K steps 5. Last 15 days, ran 20 mins daily to improve stamina 6. 100 squats per day 7. Light weight lifting 10-15 Kgs each day. 2/3 reps of biceps curl and some push-ups 8. Practiced 20m rushes 5-6 times in last 2 weeks 9. Agility is as important as strength I think. Hope this info helps. CFAT coming up now
That does help for a guideline , I got my CFAT in 2 weeks , but I’m going full time and from what I was told I may not do my fitness test till basic training
Thank you so much for the entire details! I passed the evaluation this morning at age 42 (male, 5'7", 185 lb in obesity category per the doctor). I used to worry about the 20m RUSH, but I did 36 seconds in the test which surprise me a lot. Of course, I trained myself based on your video for more than 2 weeks, and the result is superb for me.
Thank you for this video started using it last week and did my test today and passed first time first pass😍…my advice take enough water, eat light that day, rest all through the day before, even if your legs start to give way during the fourth and last test don’t give up and keep pulling…(I actually listened to my instructor and other military personnel’s giving morale at the background and that really helped me) all the best to everyone out there…the first one is actually tough cos I saw people who didn’t make it pass it. You might think it’s easy till u start it so practice more runs if possible…ever forward

Anybody else reading this, I am a 5’0 120lbs 19yo female, and I lift weights occasionally, so if I can finish this I’m sure you definitely can too!! I don't think it can be emphasized enough how important it is to get the technique down on the 20 metre rushes. A lot of time can be spent getting and going out of position, and it can be disorienting - Practice this before you actually do the exam. I'm not ashamed in saying I failed this by a couple seconds because I winged it. Not to mention, I walked out with bruised knees and a lightly sprained thumb so - practice makes perfect folks!
me too! I failed by 3 seconds when I had to do 20M rushes again for dropping at the wrong line. I went in with 0 awareness of what was about to go down. REALLY wish I found this video before the first attempt! This video is so good!
Thank you to PO Fraser and S2 Murray, I passed my Primary Reserve Operational Fitness Standard (PROFS) today, partially with the prep of this video provided. The sandbag drag became harder than I expected, so I highly recommend picking shoes you know have good traction, I slipped on my first step and it shook my confidence and speed the rest of the way.

Great videos, really helping people get good info on the military. I do have one point, make sure if you have not done so already, to get the right permissions to wear the uniform in your videos and in your promotional items, especially if you are monetizing the channel. Keep up the good work!
Can you cover one on the new naval experience program? I was hesitant to apply for the navy but this seems to be exactly what I was looking for before enrolling. Love the videos!
The NEP is what I'm going in for, It's a 1 year program where basically you get to try out all the jobs you are able to Do, see what you like the most and where you fit in. You basically get to do some the cool things you wouldn't normally do on that trade die to them wanting you to join it after your 1 year.
14:30 is the mistake I made! I didn't do the pushup in the same direction, rather, tried to cross the line and do it. So, they generously allowed me to repeat the whole drill again, but second time I went over by 3 seconds. I wish I watched this before the test! :-) Thank you for this video! I try again this week.
@PrairieSailor the CFAT was very hard. I'd recommend people STUDY! especially if you've not been in school for a minute. I graduated 2020. I found it hard. I unfortunately have to redo it for the occupation of my choice. Thank you for the video. I didn't get to the force test yet either.

Military priorities today: Fun fact; there are more Canadian admirals today, then there are pieces of in use, naval artillery. Research this for yourself.
Hey thanks for the videos, i have passed my cfat your videos are quiet helpful. i have my medical the day after tomorrow , what to expect next i have applied for regular force aerospace engineer
Great video, please can you let us know the weights for all the test. Someone who is skinny will they be able do it ? What is the next process after we finish this test ?
The sandbags are 20kg. Yes, smaller people can do it if they use proper technique. After the test you will still need security clearance, medical, and interview.
My wife is a skinny 5' 8", and she got one point off of silver on her FORCE in BMQ (well above passing grade). It's mostly about endurance, not explosive power.
Hi, thank you so much for this video, it really helps. What if you fail one of the components and you don't want a restest?? I mean is a retest compulsory or is it optional? And will they let you know this? Also, is it after one passes all four components that they proceed to the medical interview? Or will they be granted a medical interview even if they fail?
For the Reserves, you must pass all 4 components of the Force/Profs test before you move on with your application (including medical and interview). For Regular Force, the Force Eval is done on Basic Training, so after you have been enrolled.
Trying to get prepared here myself for the PROF (PROPS?) evaluation, and I am (or was) rather unfit - didn't go to any gym for the last 9-10 years until recently, when I was like "I will apply for the Navy Reserve Force in YYC (HMCS Tecumseh)" and soon realized how serious it is to be fit enough (haha). I have been trying and mimicking these at a local gym increasing the weight little by little, and the day is close by (yikes). For the loaded and unloaded shuttle, am I allowed to alternate the sandbag carry between left and right for each of the loaded lap? For example, the first lap with the sandbag on my right side, second lap unloaded, and then the third sandbag on my left side, and then so on. Or am I allowed to choose which side, not alternating but choosing a side spontaneously when one side gets tiring? Also, can I switch forms (which might be weird or unsafe)? Like using shoulder carry one lap, and then suitcase carry for another lap. Am I allowed to just grab the sandbag and test out which carry I like the best, before the timed evaluation? Also, for the fourth evaluation, the sandbag drag, the local gym does not have sandbags but has a wheeled cart (with some resistance level settings) and medicine ball. What would be the good weight in kg to mimic the sandbag drag, using the wheeled cart and medicine balls as alternative? I know you mentioned about different weight adjustment in the actual evaluation because of floor type and its resistance. By the way, the track/floor at the local gym has rubbery, and almost like synthetic golf grass texture.
@@ChyckenDynner Great questions! For the shuttles you can carry the sandbag however you want (as long as it is safe and not an injury risk) and you can change carrying method as often as you wish, including mid-shuttle. Keep in mind the timer continues, but there is lots of time for that one. For the drag it will be hard to replicate the weight. My advice is to try pulling the cart and adding weight gradually until you can’t pull.
@@PrairieSailor Thank you very much. It's very relieving to read your answer and confirm that the way I have been practicing so far is not too far off.
I had the evaluation today, about 3-4 hrs before this comment, and I passed the entry evaluation - thank you for the video guidance. The video worked very well in combination with the CFMWS link that was provided by the recruiter in my area, where I found the evaluator's setup manual and tried mimicking the conditions mentioned from the manual. On a side note, I do agree that the shuttle run is the hardest. When I was practicing, it was usually 58 sec - 1m 8 sec. Today it was 49 sec, as mentioned by my evaluator. (I told myself that I have only 50 sec and under, instead of 51). Also again, the practice floor was synthetic grass-like floor approximately 90 ft long, so I guess the difference, whereas the evaluation location had warehouse-y flat gym flooring. Close call but at least it's all done now. Looking forward to my next steps and appointments from this point. The other two of the timed ones, yes plenty of time when I paced myself just a tiny bit. Again thank you so much for this thorough video - it's a great self-study/self-guide/self-training material. I crammed this and went to gym only 15-16 days to prepare but hey, I guess I did it (what a surprise).
your videos are really informative, just wanted to know i have my medical exam soon, so what it is going to be like. is fitness test and medical exam is the same?
No, the Force Evaluation (fitness test) and medical appointment are no the same. The Force Eval will be like this video. The medical is with medical staff and is about your medical condition and history.
Hi Ur videos are very informative. I have an odd question I want to b a Naval Reserve but the Reserve base is far from my home. Is there any way I can work remote Is physical presence once a week at the Ship mandatory
We do have some training that can be done remotely, however attendance is very important. Much of the training is hands on, you will need to be present at the Unit.
Hello sir I got a call to attend my medical test for RCAF officer, on 27th Sep. Can you please advise how it will work? I am not much physically active from a while right now and cant do single push up at the moment, i can do 10-15 pushups on keens. Should i need to worried about this ?
@@inderpreetlongia1999 Your medical appointment is not when you will do the physical fitness test, so you do not need to worry about it for this appointment. However I do recommend that you start working on improving your fitness now as you will need to complete the Force Evaluation, usually on the first week of Basic Training for Regular Force.
can you do a video on the CAF's swim test for bmq? I have been wondering about this and done some research and found multiple sources that state different parameters for this.. I am curious because I want to know what I would have for to train to know what to do..
Super detailed explanation of swim test: cfmws.ca/sport-fitness-rec/fitness-testing/basic-swim The key point, in my experience, is that you can still pass BMQ if you fail the swim test. It will be recorded and you will be assigned remedial training and will take the test again at some point. This is my personal experience, it could be different for you.
@@PrairieSailor in terms of bmq I know I can get in shape to pass it all, the swim test however will quite some time for me... it would take months to personally train for my comfortable standard before entering on every other aspect of fitness.. but for the swim test alone it might take me about a year and a half or two before I might be ready...
Why did my recruiting center didn’t sent me this information ? I have no clue I’l have a fitness test after doing the medical checkup. I did a force test at my gym. I’m ok, but the sandbag lift is kind of a new movement to me. I’m use to do regular deadlift, but not sumo deadlift. Sumo deadlift work different muscle. It’s not super hard but, yeah, it gets your heart pumping if you rush. I have 5 days left until my test, so I’l practice only these movements. Edit: Thx for the video, super informative !!! 👍
Good luck on your test. A reminder to everyone, in the Reserve you need to do the test before enrolment, in the Regular Force you do it on Basic Military Qualification. It is mandatory for all to pass, the timeline is just different.

I have been a Naval Reserve Recruiter for 8 years and we do not do selection boards for entry. I would prepare just like for your interview. Be ready to answer questions about the job you are applying for, how you meet/exceed the required qualifications, and why you want to join.
Yes, if you applied for Reserves you will do it as a part of the application process, if you are going Regular Force you will do it on BMQ. It is mandatory for everyone, all occupations, and we all have to do it every year, it is not just when you join.
Hello! May we use our knees/hips to lift the bag for the 30 sandbag lift? I saw this other videos called Force series here as well but just asking from someone who is a 5’1 and 110lbs! Thank you!
I am pretty sure you are allowed to use your knees and/or hips to lift the bag against the wall. I didn't include it in the video because it doesn't explicitly state you can in the official instructions. In my experience it has been allowed.
Four small meals is more efficient, because if we over eat it will effect our body long term and short term if we eat small meals throughout the morning and evening there would be more energy produced.
Hello sir! I'm going in for my medical interview tomorrow morning so I'm still a ways away from this test. I want to train in preparation - are you able to tell me what the weight of the sandbag for the 30 lifts is? I'm pretty nervous as I've never been a super sporty guy but I really want to accomplish this. Thanks for making the video, it gives me something more concrete to work towards. -David
One more, will you be told if you passed or failed the cfat and profs/force test in front of everyone or will they tell everyone individually and privately? Thank you.
CFAT results are given privately. The profs/force is usually done in a group and others will be present and can tell if you made the time. You will be counseled privately on your results and the next steps if you are unsuccesful.
Thank you for this video. This will hugely help. I passed In September and was offered Information systems tech but what I want is Cyber Operations because I studied cyber security and have my certified qualifications in the field. Cyber Operations was not among the trades listed that my score met as I was told. So I accepted IS Tech since it was a bit related. I am at the Security check stage. Sir, please do you think I can retake the test and possible make a switch ? Will retaking affect the processing? Or if I get below score than IS Tech will they stop all processing for me? I don’t want to risk it . I did not refuse IS Tech and retake the test and maybe don’t meet any score at all that’s why I had to be wise about it, to take it and retake the test during processing as an officer advised. Please advice me I really want to do Cyber Operations because I am passionate about cybersecurity and I plan on doing Masters in Cyber security. Please advice me 🙏 thank you very much.
It is true that your most recent score counts, so it is possible to do worse and qualify for nothing. If you studied a lot and did your best maybe it’s not worth it. But now you know what to expect and can practice a ton. Usually people do better the second time, it’s rare to do worse.
Trying unsuccessfully to find the times needed to get the various levels, ie bronze, silver, gold. I did my test today and want to hit at least bronze for next time. I'm a 55yr old female. My waist measurement will be down by March.
I don't think the times are posted anywhere. you enter your scores and info into the fitness calculator and it will tell you: formefitcalculator.cfmws.com/
Thanks a lot for your videos ! They are extremely informative and love the way you present the content . Is there any place / facility / gym etc where I can practice the FORCE test components before the actual test ?
Sometimes we will set up opportunities to try the FORCE Eval at a recruiting event or open house, but in general we cannot allow civilians to use our gyms or equipment for liability reasons. However if you ask your recruiter at a reserve unit they may let you make an appointment to try the equipment under supervision. I have let people come before or after the test to try the equipment when it is set up. But usually if you are scheduling an appointment to come in you might as well try to pass the test for real. There are unlimited attempts, just a 30 day waiting period which gives you time to practice if you are unsuccesful.
For Reservists it happens during the application process before you are enrolled. For Regular Force it usually happens closer to the beginning of Basic Training.
Is it still possible to join if I has asthma and allergies and im 4'10? I want to become a pilot in the force, but I'm scared these will all interfere with being accepted.
Hello and thank you very much for the video James! I was wondering if you recommend a certain format for the re-test study log document? As of now I just have Date, Time, and Material Practiced one day after the next. Please let me know if there is a standard or expected format to respect.

@@kylemoreno8683not long at all :)) I don’t entirely remember the exact time, but definitely took less than 2 weeks for them to schedule me :)) hope that helps!
You will do lots of pushups on BMQ. It is not part of the fitness test. The test is made to simulate real activities that may be required in the line of duty.
20kg sandbags for all. The drag is based on how much force it takes to drag, so the total weight may be slightly different depending on the type of floor (less weight for grippy floor, more weight for smooth floor). In general there are four sandbags dragging and one in your arms.

2023 Update.
Ok. So I did both this Force Test and the Combat Force Test and I have feedback to provide if you want. Even if it helps one person, my job is done.
1) Prep
I don't care if you're a special forces tier 1 unit operator or a national athlete.
2) Nutrition
Don't be an idiot. Don't eat alot before the test. Some do and they end up yaking it all out.
Drink water.
BRING ELECTROLYTES
Eat a Banana or two an hour or two before the test.
Trust me. Many have cramps on this test and that is not fun. You don't wanna be that guy. I've been there, others have been there. And its just not a good time. Learn from our dumbass mistakes.
3) Timing
Ok.
4) Sequence
Ok, so if you get the opportunity, strategize your sequence of the 4 exercises.
Meaning:
Do the Shuttle Rushes first.
Then the Sand Bag lifts
Then the Drag
And finally the Loaded Shuttles
My guys found this to be the easiest sequence.
You want your power at the start and then close off with the 5:20 min exercise at the end.
5) The Shuttle Rushes
If you're someone who gets dizzy easily or has poor coordination on your feet.
Don't do this one first. Fit it in the middle 2nd or 3rd
There's alot of spinning and up and down and I've seen people land on their face.
6) Sand Bag lifts
Dude.
7) Sandbag Drag
Don't look back. The area is cordened off and clear. It's human nature to look back when walking backward. Avoid this. You're just twisting your body into a judo throw with the damn sandbag. Just pull... Consistent rate.
8) Loaded Shuttles
This feels like forever.
9) Recover and Personal After Action Report
Take a picture of the damn paper once you've done the test.
Hey, I'm in ghe process of training so I can be prepared for this. Thank you for the tips.
Passed both exams (CFAT) and FORCE on the first try thanks you your videos ! Thanks a lot mister
Great job, and thank you for the comment!
Good advice. Different sections are challenging for different people depending on many factors. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome to hear. I'm 16 as well and I am taking my CFAT and FORCE test in 2 weeks.
@@cmac007 howd it go man?
2. Started training 1 month back, say around Sep 20, 2023
3. Total training days - 23 or 24 with breaks in between
4. Daily target of min 10K steps
5. Last 15 days, ran 20 mins daily to improve stamina
6. 100 squats per day
7. Light weight lifting 10-15 Kgs each day. 2/3 reps of biceps curl and some push-ups
8. Practiced 20m rushes 5-6 times in last 2 weeks
9. Agility is as important as strength I think.
Hope this info helps.

How did you book the test?
I don't think it can be emphasized enough how important it is to get the technique down on the 20 metre rushes. A lot of time can be spent getting and going out of position, and it can be disorienting - Practice this before you actually do the exam. I'm not ashamed in saying I failed this by a couple seconds because I winged it.
Not to mention, I walked out with bruised knees and a lightly sprained thumb so - practice makes perfect folks!

If you struggle with the FORCE test call an ambulance. You're dying.
LMFAO, GREAT REMARK
I need to take notes
@@ChyckenDynner Great job on the test, and thank you for the comment! I love to hear about people’s experience and it can help others too.

Hi
Ur videos are very informative.
I have an odd question
I want to b a Naval Reserve but the Reserve base is far from my home.
Is there any way I can work remote
Is physical presence once a week at the Ship mandatory
We do have some training that can be done remotely, however attendance is very important. Much of the training is hands on, you will need to be present at the Unit.

@PrairieSailor Thank you very much, sir
can you do a video on the CAF's swim test for bmq? I have been wondering about this and done some research and found multiple sources that state different parameters for this.. I am curious because I want to know what I would have for to train to know what to do..
Super detailed explanation of swim test: cfmws.ca/sport-fitness-rec/fitness-testing/basic-swim
The key point, in my experience, is that you can still pass BMQ if you fail the swim test.

Reserve officer selection board

Thank you for this video! Is there a time limit for the sandbag drag on 20m?
There is no time limit on the Sandbag Drag, but it must be one continuous drag without stopping.

@@PrairieSailor Thank you kindly.
Is it the same for men and women?
Yes, it is the same for all genders and ages.
@@PrairieSailor thank you sir for replying !
What happens if you fail one test but pass the rest? Or it’s a must for you to pass all of them!

What is the max for the blood pressure before it's too high ?? I avg around 130/ 78 ish
You are good to go!
When is this happening? I understood that this is during the 5th week of basic training is it not?
For Reservists it happens during the application process before you are enrolled. For Regular Force it usually happens closer to the beginning of Basic Training.
Is it still possible to join if I has asthma and allergies and im 4'10? I want to become a pilot in the force, but I'm scared these will all interfere with being accepted.
Does the number of bags in the last exercise depend on my gender and my weight?
No, it is the same for everyone. Doesn’t matter your gender or size, we all need to be able to pull our teammates to safety if required.

Get in shape! Start simple with short walks and runs. And practice getting down into push-up position and then back to standing again. The test really isn’t as hard as it looks.
Is this the test for getting into reserve as well?
@@ShuaiXie yes.
Amazing video! I wonder what is the weight of the sandbag?
The sandbag is 20kg.
I have my fitness test in January
Good luck!!
@PrairieSailor I have a question not sure if your allowed to answer but how many pounds do the sandbags weight no more then 60lbs
Thanks very nice good video PervaizIqbal Frome Pakistan 🇵🇰
That’s in Winnipeg isn’t it? Is that where everyone takes the test? I thought they are held somewhere in Quebec or Ontario
This video is in Winnipeg, but the test is done in nearly every military establishment across Canada, so no need to travel far.
@@PrairieSailor I kinda realized that later 😅 thank you.
For the sand bag lift is it easier to put the ponytail on your dominant or non-dominant hand?
@@aidanmoffett3163 I like to use my dominant hand, most people do I think.
@@PrairieSailor Great thank you!
Hi,
Regarding the sport test FORCE, does the Recrument center decides for the date or can we chose one date ourselves like for the CFAT and the medical test?
PS : I am applying for the Reserve.
Thanks.
The dates are usually flexible. At chippawa we try to schedule the FORCE and CFAT on the same day for single day processing. We also offer evening appointments for people who can't make it during business hours.
@@PrairieSailor Thanks a lot!
How much do the sandbag weight for the different exercises?
Always 20kg.
make sure you wear shoes with GOOD GRIP. seriously. test your shoes on a smooth floor beforehand. I slipped so badly 😢
Great tip!
I’m a 5’2” female, 126 lbs, and I’m really struggling practicing for the 20 m rushes. I can’t seem to get below 53 seconds and my test is on August 9th. Any tips to chop down this time really fast before my test?
Practice your technique for getting down and back up again. Touch the line, step back, down, hands up, push up, step forward, up, go! And try other methods if the push up is not good for you, some people try different things.
After you applied how long did it take them to schedule you for your force test
@@kylemoreno8683not long at all :)) I don’t entirely remember the exact time, but definitely took less than 2 weeks for them to schedule me :)) hope that helps!
I gawt to take this test
No pushups and pullups in BMQ?
You will do lots of pushups on BMQ. It is not part of the fitness test. The test is made to simulate real activities that may be required in the line of duty.
What is the weight of the sandbag in lift, drag, rush?
20kg sandbags for all. The drag is based on how much force it takes to drag, so the total weight may be slightly different depending on the type of floor (less weight for grippy floor, more weight for smooth floor). In general there are four sandbags dragging and one in your arms.
Do NCM recruiters work? If yes aren't they supposed to respond to emails or return phone calls?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how much does a sandbag weigh?
@@jmac79ers 20kg
@@PrairieSailor thanks!
