    • @Xunkun
      @Xunkun 3 года назад +1

      Unsettling.... ehn. _Justice,_ at last? Yes.
      Sure, Disney had to tone it down a _tad,_ as in all other versions, Frollo is an Archdeacon (roughly equivalent to a Priest-- but being _Notre Dame's_ Archdeacon, that's like being mayor of _New York City,_ vs mayor of, say; _Albany,_ NY). They should have kept the teeth of showing the hypocrisy of the Church and religion and kept Frollo's title as such, but instead of having to deal with the backlash of revealing a christian leader as the bad people they can be, they made him a judge instead.

      "AHHHHHHH! Hot potato! Off his drawers! Pluck to make amends!"
      Doubly funny when you realize Rowan Atkinson voiced Zazu.
      Also Lion King is said to based off of Hamlet though others have said it's more like King Lear.

    I thought Dr. Facilier's death was terrifying for a Disney movie. The way the demons dragged him was like something out of Drag Me To Hell.

      I rather stay out of the Voodoo world and find my Way to Heaven then be drag by Demons from Hell

    I wonder if some Therapist ever tried to sue Disney after dealing with the numerous patients who were horribly traumatized as kids by the death scenes featured in all of these Disney movies?

    I wish Turbo from Wreck it Ralph was included here. Being forced to go to your own death while you're completely unable to stop it is pretty horrifying

      Completely agree. Him trying to struggle did nothing while his king candy persona was gleefuly flying into death.

    I love how the narrator of Scar's death is just like "oh well circle of life"

    Anyone else notice that the majority of these villains fall to their death?

    To me, the Disney villains' deaths are more satisfying than terrifying.

    Sleeping Beauty may have been more of a girl's movie, but i LOVE that sequence where Charming fights Maleficent and her Goblin Army.

    2019 Scar's death was actually better cos at least he tried to fight back and defend himself instead of begging for mercy like a coward
