I ABSOLUTELY disagree with the order in your list! But I wouldnt expect it otherwise. Different tastes make the eorld a more diverse and interesting place!
@@matej9368 first of all Hunchback Notre Dame should not in no universe be that low. 34 for that awesome movie and characters. 32 Hercules, are you kidding??? And then we have Whinnie The Puh above those classics, Whinnie the Puh is like for 4 year olds. 26 The Little Mermaid, i mean...... what!!!! It's not like it is little bit of. It's wayyyyy of, it's not even funny

@@andreimcallister1365 For the record, I think Lady and the Tramp is funny and sad at the same time. I just put it in the bottom half of the list because it didn't scream Disney Magic loud enough for me.

Dumbo, Pinocchio, Snow White and Bambi all belong in the top 10. Lady and the Tramp should be in the top 20. Otherwise, I like the ranking. I assume you are making a separate list for Pixar movies since Finding Nemo, Toy Story (all 4 of them), Coco, Inside Out, Monsters Inc., Ratatouille, Up, Soul, Wall-E and the Incredibles, are not in attendance! ;)
About Oliver and company, I think it’s super underrated. Just because it doesn’t feel like a “Disney movie” doesn’t take it’s value down and I honestly think it’s more memorable than at least 10 of the movies that ranked higher. It’s not perfect but I think it deserves at least low 40’s high 30’s. Also dinosaur should be lower than things like Oliver and co, fantasia, and aristocats
This has gotta be my dream video. One of the best rankings to exist on RUclips. I haven't seen about 8-9 on this list but it's pretty solid overall I have to say. Ty Sean 🙏🙏🙏

Aristocats had actually a moment that leaves a mark: where the Jazz Cats play Everybody wants to be a cat. My then 3 year old son (in 2006) started to love jazz and punk through that tune.
Amazing amount of effort put into this video! We are quite different (especially on Emperor's New Groove!) but I appreciated hearing your opinions on these, Sean!
My Top 10 1. The Lion King 2. Moana 3. Wreck it Ralph 4. Zootopia 5. Beauty & the Beast 6. Little Mermaid 7. Raya & the last dragon 8. Ralph breaks the internet 9. Frozen 10. Frozen 2
This is the second ranking I've watched in the last two weeks, and it makes me happy seeing "Tangled" get its due. I love seeing a classic fairytale romance plot in which both the people involved are interesting and active. My own personal ranking would be somewhat different, but I appreciate your reasoning behind each choice. It really all depends on what we're most interested in seeing. For example, I'm enthused by the merging of art and music in "Fantasia," so I'd rank it much higher, but I can see why many viewers would be disappointed and even bored by the lack of a narrative through-line. Also, female representation is a huge deal for me, and some of the classics that I ADMIRE, I don't quite LOVE due to the lack of a memorable heroine (e.g. Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians, Pinocchio, The Lion King) ; I also have a difficult time with Peter Pan upon rewatch because it bothers me how incredibly mean nearly every character is to Wendy. Yet not every movie is, or should be, made for me. I'm just happy about the ones I DO get. My personal Top Five: 1. Zootopia 2. Moana 3. Beauty and the Beast 4. Tangled 5. Encanto

Excellent video Sean! It’s so incredible you were able to rank all of these films! Some of them I’d never even heard of! Here are my top 5 Disney films Honourable Mention-Mulan 5-Tangled 4-Beauty And The Beast 3-Aladdin 2-Wreck It Ralph 1-The Lion King (in my top 10 films)
It still irks me that you put Hunchback so low. It's top 10 for me. But as you say, it's your list. Different tastes and all. At least we can agree that Chicken Little is garbo.
This video is incredible. Thank you for going through the effort of watching and then ranking all these movies. Really gonna make my life a whole lot easier when I have kids in a few years and I'm trying to pick Disney films for them.
I haven't started watching yet....But I'm gonna place The lion king (1994) number 1! I'm a movie buff, not quite like you Sean....but that's my number 1. Here we go! Off to the video! Update:I knew it! first film I seen in theaters when I was 5 years old. I also agree with 2 and 3,but it's reversed for me.
My favorite Disney movies 1. Lion king movies 2. Aladdin movies 3. Goofy movies 4. Jungle book movies 5. Fun and fancy free 6. The fox and the hound 7. Beauty and the beast 8. 101 Dalmatians 9. I'm so happy that Tangled was ranked so high. It's my favorite movie since watching the whole thing in January for the first time since I saw it in theaters.
I love your rankings (although our opinions differ :). I can tell that you put a lot of time and effort in these videos. Thank you for creating content for movie lovers to watch. The only down side is that I’ve watched quite a few of these and some of the clips or edited in are quite repetitive. If I hear “Baby, one more time,” one more time I might cry a little. 😂. I do enjoy these. Keep creating amazing content. ❤
I commend this guy for putting in this insane amount of work for an amazing video. However when he ranked brother bear so low it felt like a blow to my childhood😂I know that it’s riding on nostalgia for me and he probably has good points but dang that stings.
My mom read me the Chronicles of Prydain as well! I love how she read the characters, her voices will always be engrained in my head lmao. Hard to remember how good the books but I have never seen the movie lmao.
I think you forgot about Steamboat Willie but that’s okey GREAT WORK I LOVE THIS RANKING VIDEO!! Here’s my top 10: 10. Big Hero 6 9. The Little Mermaid 8. The Lion King 7. Tangled 6. YES!!! Finally I've found a person that put my most favourite Disney movie of all time at number one instead of number two, because when I found a Disney animated movie rank video that Schaffrillas Productions did he actually put The Lion King at number two and added Beauty and the Beast at number one which made me super mad since I didn't like him doing that during his movie rank, but Sean Chandler Talks About, you're the best person for animated Disney movie rank videos, because you always put the best movies at number one, infact I think you're a way better Disney animated movie ranker then Schaffrillas Productions, you've tottally made my day Sean Chandler Talks About 😍😍😍😍

16:48 Disney's Dinosaur (2000) is my favorite movie from the Post Renaissance Era of Walt Disney Animation Studios. 1:08:21 And Disney's The Lion King (1994) is also my favorite movie from the Renaissance Era of Walt Disney Animation Studios too.
I respect your point on Fantasia, but for those who love the nutcracker and/or classical music it's a great movie to watch and the nutcracker suite and the dancing mushrooms are absolutely memorable and amazing (and cute)! Also the hippos and alligators on Dance of the hours is a funny light little interpretation of the song and what ballet is. Admittedly, though, I don't really care about the animation on the rite of spring and the dinosaurs...
My Top 10 Favorite Disney Films: in no order 1. Fantasia - Everything in this film perfectly encapsulates what Disney is all about for me. 2. The Lion King - To this day, it's still an amazing film. It has tons of great characters such as Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu etc, relevant messages for the audience especially children and the plot is done well. 3. Encanto - Mirabel was the best Disney protagonist ever since Mulan. The musical numbers are so catchy that it makes me dance. I wished the characters such as Abuela and Isabela apologized to Mirabel and Bruno. 4. Aladdin - I really watched to watch this film since I was a kid and got the opportunity to watch it in Disney+ and I honestly enjoyed it. Jasmine and Aladdin were the best couple IMO and Robin Williams was perfect for this movie. 5. Pinocchio - It's the 2nd Disney animated film and it's truly breathtaking and astonishing. 6. The Hunchback of Notre Dame - The performances and the soundtrack sounded like it was made and performed on a Broadway show. Esmeralda and Quasimodo are an example of great human beings and Frollo is my favorite Disney villain. 7. Lilo & Stitch - One of the most saddest and funniest Disney films I've ever seen. Stitch and Lilo are one of the beat duos and I love the story. 8. Lady and the Tramp - I love the bond and chemistry between Lady and Tramp. Has one of the best animation work. 9. 101 Dalmatians - It's a masterpiece. 10. Robin Hood - I love mostly of the characters and the plot is so great.
She was getting up there in age. She lived a long life. 95 years. Every once in a while, I'll look up actors/actresses on Wikipedia and make sure they're still alive. And the last time I checked her page honestly wasn't that long ago. Maybe two months ago when I saw the little mermaid again for the umpteenth time.

You are clearly wrong on the Chicken Little as it should definitely be higher as well as Lilo and Stitch and some others! You REALLY need to RETHINK some of the movies in your rankings for sure!!

@@knoxville8742 Ikr, Brother Bear and Dinosaur shouldn’t be that low. They should at least be in the 40’s. For the other placements on this list I don’t really mind as much. Otherwise this is probably just based on their personal opinion.
Brother bear and chicken little are amazing, they were a huge part of my childhood, that hurts you dont like them sean, especially brother bear, the world building and themes of that movie were fantastic
I loved watching the Fantasia movies on VHS as a kid. My favorite ones were sorcerer’s apprentice, rhapsody in blue and nutcracker. Donald Duck in Noah’s Ark is really weird now that you mention it. I didn’t think about that.

Why does nobody like the Aristocats? I loved watching that as a kid. My dad had the vinyl of the audio which told the story and he can recite the dog’s part by heart lmao. I always preferred it over lady and the tramp as a kid. Also, parts have not aged well and it’s very stereotype-y but still a good time.

Call it recency bias, but Encanto is my favorite disney movie. The songs are amazing and really varied in style, the attention to detail is fantastic, i love the characters and the focus on family drama, the message is beautiful and really well executed. It's not the only disney movie to make me cry, but it's the one that made me cry the most. It finally dethroned Mulan in my eyes after almost 20 years. Other favorites would be Mulan, Moana, Lilo & Stitch, Atlantis, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, Zootopia.
It’s a nice movie, but there was basically no third act, and as a result, the conflict was resolved way too easily considering the setup. One part I vividly remember is the whole prophecy about how the girl has to hug her sister to resolve the conflict. The movie treats it like this insurmountable task, then not even 20 minutes later, they’re hugging. Boom, conflict resolved. I have to be honest, it feels like an incomplete movie to me and I wouldn’t even put it in the top 20. I think Coco did what this movie was trying to do much better. This movie just didn’t earn the tearjerker moments for me like Coco did. It fixed everything too quickly.
No, it's not recency bias. It's at least the best movie since Tangled and it might be slightly better which then means it's the best since Lion King or Beauty and the Beast.
Nope. Not recency bias. I still loveee Encanto, and it’s my favorite Disney movie. The entire movie focuses on the family conflict, that’s why you shouldn’t expect some grand battle or adventure
My top 12 12-The little Mermaid 11-Brother Bear 10-Beauty and the beast 9-The Black Culdren 8-Encanto 7-Hunchback of Notre dame 6-Frozen 2 5-Atlantis the most empire 4-Moana 3-Mulan 2-Raya and the last Dragon 1-Pocahontas
My top ten list: 10. The Rescuers Down Under 9. The Hunchback of Notre Dame 8. Hercules 7. Pocahontas 6. Mulan 5. Tarzan 4. The Little Mermaid 3. Beauty and the Beast 2. Aladdin 1. The Lion King
I don't remember anything of the rest of Fun and Fancy Free, but the Jack and the Magic Beans reiteration with Mickey, Goofey and Donald is definitely one of the highlights of my pirate-VHS childhood!
I would rank Aristocats higher but it definitely feels like a lesser 101 Dalmatians. Also that is the best description of the Jungle Book. I never knew how to describe how I felt about that movie and he took the thoughts, that I didn’t quite know how to say in words, right out of my brain.
I'll rank the movies I remember, I will be rewatching many of the movies soon though Bad: 20. Ralph Breaks The Internet Meh: 19. Fantasia 18. Snow White Good: 17. The Great Mouse Detective 16. Frozen 2 15. Pinocchio 14. Meet The Robinsons Pretty Good: 13. Big Hero 6 12. The Emperor's New Groove 11. The Princess and The Frog 10. Zootopia Really Good: 9. Hercules 8. Treasure Planet 7. Frozen Favorites: 6. Lilo & Stitch 5. Aladdin 4. The Lion King 3. Wreck-It-Ralph 2. Encanto 1. Moana
There is quite a bit of this list I disagree with a lot, but with how many classics Disney has put out, that is bound to happen, outside of the top 5 are so, which are hard to argue against.
Bruh aristocats is great thats the movie that basically made me love cats, and what do u mean no memorable melodies? "Everybody wants to be a cat" is still stuck in my head to this day
Everyone has their taste but sean has a point. O malley is a carbon copy of Baloo the bear, the scene where they talk to the geese is unnecessary, and the villain is not very memorable along with some of the other characters.
Let's all take a minute to thank Sean for working so hard to get this ranking filmed, edited and posted for us.
It took him 11 months to watch all these films and i think he deserves all of our appreciation
Appreciate it

Dumbo, Pinocchio, Snow White and Bambi all belong in the top 10.
Lady and the Tramp should be in the top 20. Otherwise, I like the ranking.
I assume you are making a separate list for Pixar movies since Finding Nemo, Toy Story (all 4 of them), Coco, Inside Out, Monsters Inc., Ratatouille, Up, Soul, Wall-E and the Incredibles, are not in attendance! ;)
@@alextabet9247 Snow white i agree with. The rest i disagree with
About Oliver and company, I think it’s super underrated.

This is really great to listen to while I work! I appreciate how long they are as well. I never get bored listening into these.
The great mouse detective is actually quite good, I’m surprised. That clock tower ending epic!!!
Snow White and Toy Story are probably two of the most important (animated) films ever made.

Can tell that you were probably under the age of 21 when you made that list.
My personal Top Five:
1. Zootopia
2. Moana
3. Beauty and the Beast
4. Tangled
5. Encanto
I loved the Ralph Breaks the Internet part. Specially cause your kid is so cute! I love how she was jumping around and going Row! So cute.

Wow! A lot of my top favorites made your top half! You certainly have good taste!
It still irks me that you put Hunchback so low. It's top 10 for me.
But as you say, it's your list. Different tastes and all. At least we can agree that Chicken Little is garbo.
Agreed- Definitely top 5 for me. Just because it doesn't "fit the disney mold " does not mean it's a bad film...quite the contrary
I feel similarity about Hunchback. When it's firing on all cylinders, it represents cinematic perfection....And not just for an animated film.
This video is incredible. Thank you for going through the effort of watching and then ranking all these movies. Really gonna make my life a whole lot easier when I have kids in a few years and I'm trying to pick Disney films for them.
I always loved the Nutcracker bit in Fantasia. I’ll credit Fantasia with introducing me to some classic pieces of music.
Treasure planet was one of the highlights for me. I'm biased as hell but as a kid I loved everything

Disney's Dinosaur (2000) is my favorite movie from the Post Renaissance Era of Walt Disney Animation Studios.
1:08:21
And Disney's The Lion King (1994) is also my favorite movie from the Renaissance Era of Walt Disney Animation Studios too.
Why do you like Dinosaur so much, besides possibly nostalgia?
Bro, dinosaur is literally the worst disney movie. Ever!
I haven’t seen big hero 6 but it’s funny that you love the villain so much because I have seen other you tubers say it was executed badly.
The aristocats and Oliver and company will always be my childhood favorite cartoon❤
Really gotta appreciate you for doing such a long video , it takes dedication to review each movie here .
Nuckcracker Suite, Sorcerer's Apprentice, and Night on Bald Mountain....those three are sooo amazing.
My Top 10 Favorite Disney Films: in no order
Those #1 and #2 picks, everything right with Disney!
In my personal opinion I would flip the lion king and beauty and the beast.
I agree Lion King is #1 but I think Brother Bear deserves a higher spot
No hate but How is huntchback of notre dame at 34?
She was getting up there in age. She lived a long life. 95 years. Every once in a while, I'll look up actors/actresses on Wikipedia and make sure they're still alive. And the last time I checked her page honestly wasn't that long ago. Maybe two months ago when I saw the little mermaid again for the umpteenth time.
The voice of Aurora is still alive! Mary Costa, 93.
The song Hellfire alone is enough for me to justify putting the Hunchback of Notre Dame at number 1.
Great song and I love how some of the imagery is in the spirit of Night on Bald Mountain (from Fantasia).

@@knoxville8742 Ikr, Brother Bear and Dinosaur shouldn’t be that low. They should at least be in the 40’s. For the other placements on this list I don’t really mind as much. Otherwise this is probably just based on their personal opinion.
you're way wrong with chicken little! need to be higher
My top 5 :

Brother bear and chicken little are amazing, they were a huge part of my childhood, that hurts you dont like them sean, especially brother bear, the world building and themes of that movie were fantastic
The Lion King 🦁 👑 Was Masterpiece Disney Movie
I loved watching the Fantasia movies on VHS as a kid. My favorite ones were sorcerer’s apprentice, rhapsody in blue and nutcracker. Donald Duck in Noah’s Ark is really weird now that you mention it. I didn’t think about that.
After finally rewatching these movies (and watching some for the very first time), here is my list. Make Mine Music will be excluded.

How is dinosaur the worst you capping
@@thomo2127 I have two words. It’s boring.
Thank you for giving Hunchback an excellent ranking 👏
@@avatarenthusiast2289 Yeah. It’s even worse than The Good Dinosaur
Thank you for doing this, awesome video!

Encanto is so good
Big Hero 6 and Snow White are overrated
@@fixinggood4912 I really like Big Hero 6, but you are correct about Snow White.
IYes because of recency bias it’s hard to say it’s the best one but it’s so good it’s better than so many of these on the list
Just a question but if you now rank all the disney movies why don't you rank all the sequels like cinderella 2.3 or the lion king 2.3?
They were direct to video I think
Amazing list. Here is my top 5
5-Encanto
4-Mulan
3-Wreck it Ralph
2- Beauty and the beast
1- Moana (Shut up)
I wasn’t saying anything.
Hi Sean, what did you think about my comments on Zootopia and Big Hero 6 in Part 3?
I can agree with some aspects but the idea of emperors new groove is growth that’s the idea by the end of the film he becomes a better person
My top 12
12-The little Mermaid
11-Brother Bear
10-Beauty and the beast
9-The Black Culdren
8-Encanto
7-Hunchback of Notre dame
6-Frozen 2
5-Atlantis the most empire
4-Moana
3-Mulan
2-Raya and the last Dragon
1-Pocahontas
Little mermaid is my favorite ❤️
My top ten list:
10. The Rescuers Down Under
9. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
8. Hercules
7. Pocahontas
6. Mulan
5. Tarzan
4. The Little Mermaid
3. Beauty and the Beast
2. Aladdin
1. The Lion King
My Top 5:
The Little Mermaid
Pinocchio
Peter Pan
Beauty and the Beast
The Lion King
Cinderella was one of my favs as a kid
Finally someone who agrees about Bambi, but I would put it even lower because I LOVE Fantasia
I don't remember anything of the rest of Fun and Fancy Free, but the Jack and the Magic Beans reiteration with Mickey, Goofey and Donald is definitely one of the highlights of my pirate-VHS childhood!
Aristocrats Is a gem
I would rank Aristocats higher but it definitely feels like a lesser 101 Dalmatians. Also that is the best description of the Jungle Book. I never knew how to describe how I felt about that movie and he took the thoughts, that I didn’t quite know how to say in words, right out of my brain.
I’m glad I didn’t watch the individual parts lol, I was hoping for a supercut
Great ranking also what is the point of time in the video where every other film is a positive review for you?
And "Sleeping Beauty" gave the best waifu to exist... *Maleficent!*
I'll rank the movies I remember, I will be rewatching many of the movies soon though
Bad:
20. Ralph Breaks The Internet
Meh:
19. Fantasia
18. Snow White
Good:
17. The Great Mouse Detective
16. Frozen 2
15. Pinocchio
14. Meet The Robinsons
Pretty Good:
13. Big Hero 6
12. The Emperor's New Groove
11. The Princess and The Frog
10. Zootopia
Really Good:
9. Hercules
8. Treasure Planet
7. Frozen
Favorites:
6. Lilo & Stitch
5. Aladdin
4. The Lion King
3. Wreck-It-Ralph
2. Encanto
1. Moana
Thanks for the great ranking video and I completely agree with your ranking of Bambi. It is my least favorite of the Golden age movies.
80-2: All of Disney except…
1. Atlantis: The Lost Empire (my 3rd fav animated movie)
There is quite a bit of this list I disagree with a lot, but with how many classics Disney has put out, that is bound to happen, outside of the top 5 are so, which are hard to argue against.
Just switch Frozen 2 and emperors new groove. Also, boost Encanto up.
What did you think of Hawkeye episode 4?
brother bear is criminally underrated
I almost turned the video off bruh
The Phil Collins soundtrack alone puts it above a lot of the bottom tier of movies
I disagree
Bruh aristocats is great thats the movie that basically made me love cats, and what do u mean no memorable melodies? "Everybody wants to be a cat" is still stuck in my head to this day
Everyone has their taste but sean has a point. O malley is a carbon copy of Baloo the bear, the scene where they talk to the geese is unnecessary, and the villain is not very memorable along with some of the other characters.
The lion king and the fox and the hound are my favourite Disney movies ever
