Hello...I wanted to tell you that I’ve been using that same brand of henna for about 10 years with great results. Since I do it monthly, I only apply it to the roots. I applied it your way for many years but a faster/easier way is to use a color applicator bottle, with the henna thin enough that you can squirt it out of the bottle. Then part your hair, run a line of henna along the part, part again, and continue. Rub the henna in a little bit afterward and cover your hair with a shower cap, as it can get slightly drippy. Works a treat. Also, your skin is absolutely amazing. Whatever you’re doing, keep it up! Thank you for the lovely video,
I'm so glad you affirmed using a color applicator bottle works. I didn't have one at home when I made this video and we were on lock down so I couldn't go get one. I'm going to use it next time. :)

I'm so sorry to hear you had a reaction to hair dye. We don't need any issues given our auto immune disorders so I'm so happy you saw this video. I started not to record it, but I'm so happy it has been helpful. Bless you and welcome!!!
You are such a beautiful lady! I’ve been using henna for at least 5 years and have tried probably 3 types. I have a medium/dark red hair that has been going white at temples and a bit throughout. I hate not being a full redhead so I turned to henna. I’ve also mixed darker henna with just the natural red since grays pickup the red color and look more orange. It’s an experiment some times. It has to be done every month although you can wait as long as you want. I wrap a plastic shopping bag around my head to keep it moist.
Looks wonderful. I'm 51 and have been using semi permanent hair dye but for whatever reason, it's breaking my gray hair off in the front. I will be trying henna in the next week or so. Great video

Yes...my hair over time looks more copper. However my initial results were what you saw. The packaging says it has a little indigo in it. I'd like to try using henna and other ingredients for a darker result one day.
I stumbled on your video today. The same day I used Henna on my hair this morning. My hair colored in twenty minutes and is very soft and some-what curly now. But I wet set it in curlers. Yours has a beautifully natural curl. My sister did it for me years ago and it lasted awhile. I like that there is no Amonia.
Hi is this henna made in france also for very dark hair i would like to cover the grays but certain hennas gives orange or red undertones which henna does not please let me know thank you
The henna I get turns my grays a copper color. Looks like a reddish highlights. But the rest of my hair looks dull afterwards. Btw - I do a henna gloss (mixing henna with conditioner)
Have you tried adding more indigo? Over time the greys will look more like highlights. For sheen I add spray aloe juice to my hair to lay down the hair cuticle. That helps to enhance sheen. Of course it's important to note that not all hair has a natural gloss, but it's still healthy. :)
Thanks for this video I really appreciate your your efforts on the research and the good out come. Please what did you add to henna that makes your hair curly.
I'm glad you like the video. I have natural hair so I didn't add anything to make my hair curly. I wash, condition, apply a leave in and gel. Is that what you're asking about?
I let my hair grow grey, my skin still very smooth, I keep my self in good shape...when a sister woman ask me "who did my hair"? I said: God. Believe I'm so happy (one thing less to worry about it)

@@NoLyeNapturallyMe ok so I've used this product twice. I have dreads so trust it was an event. It's not regular dye and grainy regardless if how much water I used. Thank you 😊 like you I have become overly sensitive to anything unnatural . My most recent issue has been gluten sensitivity and hives - so I just knew I would never dye my hair the traditional way. Not to mention I once had to treat a woman whose head literally was swollen almost twice the size after using a grocery bought regular Black dye ! Her face & scalp was unrecognizable- she was trying to dye her locs ! Anyway I just turned 50 and like you said “ these grey hairs are disrespectful!😂. I will look out for this product /Henna and consider trying it . Ps in Nigeria 🇳🇬 I grew up watching girls put it on their skin and older women did use it in their hair . Roots 😊
SAME! Gluten sensitivity gang. LOL. I've had to give it up completely. About 7 years ago I noticed how my body responded to it. So I began to exclude it from my diet. I love the fact that there are so many wonderful gluten free options these days. I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to the woman who used the box dye. I hope she recovered without too many issues. I think you'll love the henna. In Nigeria, did they use henna to create designs on their skin or for some other purpose. So fascinating! Thanks for the video, I agree, you look nothing like fifty! 🤗 One thing though: I'm assuming you are not using 100% henna (lawsonia inermis) because Henna dyes hair red. I guess your brand of henna has indigo powder mixed with it. I just don't want other people to end up with red hair when they use pure henna which is why I'd like to correct that :)
You are correct, colora brand adds indigo to get brown to black tones, beetroot to get red tones and I think cassia for golden tones and she used the brown colour, meaning there was indigo in there.

I've have greys at the back of my head since I was 12, I just started using henna for dyeing my hair, so I can't wait to see how long it stays in
That's awesome!
Your curls r sOo cute n healthy! I’m going to try the henna.
Thank you! Enjoy your results!
50? I thought you were like 30! 😊
I wish!
What is your face skincare regimen beautiful. Thanks
Hi Linda! I try to keep it pretty simple. I'll do a short or video to share everything I use if you think that would be helpful. :)
You don’t look 50, you look young and beautiful wow 🤩 well maintained 😍
Oh thank you!
I thought all natural henna always turns out red? How did you get a brown color if you used a natural henba? Thanks so much!
I think you said 30 wrong. It’s ok
LOL! Thank you for that belly laugh. :) Thanks sis.
Thank you so much for sharing I used this tutorial for myself.. same brand just longer waiting time my hair long
You are so welcome!
Excuse meeeee...50??? Wow, you are beyond blessed. So beautiful 🙏🏾🥰
😊 thank you
Im watching 3 years in the future. Sis, when you said you were turning 50 i had to rewind the video to see if i heard you correctly. You're so beautiful.
Good morning Ms Renaissance. Thank you so much. Reading your comment blessed me this morning. ❤️
@@NoLyeNapturallyMe You're most welcome. Stay blessed and beautiful 🙏.
Your hair and color turned out beautifully. I've used henna for years; mine turns my hair bright, bright red. I then have to use indigo to get the color you got with just one product! It's an all day process.
May I ask what type/color henna you use? I think my daughter would love a bright red effect. LOL!
@@NoLyeNapturallyMe from Henna Sooq or Jamila henna from Amazon. It's pure henna.
@@kittyskid1 thank you for sharing. Hmm....that’s good to know. I haven’t tried those brands. 💛
@@NoLyeNapturallyMe np. I like the results you got. thank you. be well.
How do you keep myself so young please do a video about your daily diet
Thank you! I will do that. Happy to share.
Love this! Thanks for sharing the step by step. You have beautiful skin and hair!
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
Miss you are absolutely beautiful😁❤. Skin care regimen pls n thx... Now to the hair, this is surely what I needed to see. Natural product that actually works. I'm buying now. These grays be so disrespectful 🙄😒
Thank you so much! Enjoy the henna results and wonderful benefits it provides. :) Let me know how you like it!
@@NoLyeNapturallyMe ok so I've used this product twice. I have dreads so trust it was an event. It's not regular dye and grainy regardless if how much water I used. All in all I learned that less is more because of my dreads and I focused on the gray areas. For me it lasts 2 weeks which is fine. But at least I know it's all natural and for me I can use 1 box at least 2 times
You look amazing! 50 who? What? Where?
Aww!Thank you sis! :)
How long it's stay for 👏🙋
@@NoLyeNapturallyMe pls give us your skin care secrets
50 got nothing on her for sure
Wow; you are beautiful! Thank you for sharing your experience.
Henna alone turns my grays bright red. I'm wondering how did you get a dark tint?
In the comments I shared that ultimately I have a copper type hue. Also the box indicates there's a bit of indigo. 😊
Indigo powder
You look great, please do have Jerry curls or it's your natural hair ? Love the curls
Thank you! I don't have a jheri curl. Girl- you took me BACK! Mom had one when I was younger. I begged for one and she let me get it. Girl, my dad did too! We were a jheri curl family! 😂😂😂 This is my natural hair. 💛
Thanks for commenting and welcome!
@@NoLyeNapturallyMe in India women use it during weddings n festivals n especially brides put on their hands n arms n feet too ..it looks so beautiful❤ I love it
Thank you for sharing, I definitely, going to try this brand. I agree with the comment below. You have a beautiful skin. You should do a video abaout your skin care routine. Happy New Year!
It looks very beautiful on you! Wow! Great job!! New subbie. 🌸💖
Thanks for subbing and for the wonderful comment. WELCOME!!!!!
The link you provided to Henna color is brown. I can't find dark brown.
Thanks for the video, I agree, you look nothing like fifty! 🤗
One thing though: I'm assuming you are not using 100% henna (lawsonia inermis) because Henna dyes hair red. I guess your brand of henna has indigo powder mixed with it. I just don't want other people to end up with red hair when they use pure henna which is why I'd like to correct that :)
Thank you! Nope. No indigo mixed in. Henna provides a warm undertone, but has never turned my brown hair red.
You are correct, colora brand adds indigo to get brown to black tones, beetroot to get red tones and I think cassia for golden tones and she used the brown colour, meaning there was indigo in there.
I would love to get the henna hair dye, but I am unable to find it here in Jamaica
Aw. Maybe the link in the info section will help. 💛
Your short haircut is so cute!
Thank you! 💛
Wow Chica - your skin is flawless!!! What’s your secret?? Thank you for the great content 💜🙏
