    What a transformation Dave! Great job! So much more space and fine joinery if I may say so myself as a joiner. Wish I had seen this before I bought my own connect. I'm happy with mine but you've given me a few more ideas. Thanks Dave, now subscribed.

    I'm so glad I asked you to change the interior of my connect Dave. I can now get to everything with much more ease than previously. The area above the cab is now my storage for the bedding which leaves ample room for other items in the masses of storage you have created for me. Even in full bed mode I have a place to sit on the edge of the bed with my feet on the floor which really helps with getting dressed in the mornings, I can't wait for the next project and I urge viewers to share and share your builds. Lets get you to 5000 subs before the end of the year, you deserve to be up there with the greats. Thanks again from one happy chap!

    Dave yes I am impressed by both your work and skills keep up the Great and Good Work.
    I want to build as well I have a very strange ideas for a build. I have more of a idea for a box truck build but the current price of gasoline and the current inflated price both are holding me back. I have a ruff idea for a in vehicle slide out of a multi slide out/in room for: bathroom,mud room, and a place to wash clothing. I want to build out a box truck to be used while I am a student doing earth science projects in the middle of no where. I am also looking in to do remote grazing studies and how it effects and impacts western range and grasslands.

    beautiful job Dave, it seems to have made the van bigger and brighter. I'm sure the owner will be delighted with the transformation. And well done for hitting the 1000 subscribers. Just fitted the rear windows in ours today, I'm done in now... my nerves can't cope with such a thing!

    • @dave-watson
      @dave-watson  2 года назад +2

      Thanks Lisa, the van is much lighter and more usable space, it was a good little project. I know what you mean about fitting windows, I was terrified on the first one I did. Hope it all works out well. And yes, 1000 subs and climbing.

    Hi Dave, good job on the pull out slat bed and the rest of the build too! I noticed you decided against using runners and divided it into two sections making it easier to pull out which looked like a good idea and with it being a stand alone section would have meant extra frame work to attach the runners to, if you know what I mean! Looking forward to seeing your next build.

    • @dave-watson
      @dave-watson  2 года назад +1

      Yes, I may try the runners on another build, a bit more complex to make. But so long as there is plenty of space between the slats the slide out beds work ok. More builds soon. Thanks Dave.

    Geeez!
    That gives me some thoughts; would you say it’s similar in size to a Vito…?🤔🤞🏻👌🏻

    • @dave-watson
      @dave-watson  11 месяцев назад

      Hi, I think the vito is quite a bit bigger than this. it's a ford connect and really compact. You should have a lot more room in a vito. Thanks for watching.

    Hey Dave, random question but do you know if the van can still go through a regular MOT after the conversion?

    • @dave-watson
      @dave-watson  2 года назад +1

      So far as I know the conversion will not affect the MOT. I had a self converted van put through an MOT earlier in the year and it was fine.

      All is well, but I'm in between vans at the moment. I'm looking for a high top Boxer or Master, I think that will make an interesting build. Thanks for asking.
