In this 2nd part of the failover cluster video series, We will Install and Configure Two-node Failover Cluster using Windows Server 2019. We are using iSCSI target server to setup storage for Windows Failover Cluster.
1: Install Failover Clustering feature on both node.
    2: Validate Failover Cluster configuration.
    3: Create Failover Cluster.
    4: Configure Cluster Quorum Settings.

Hello, You are great. But can you record some explanation how failover clustering works? Why I need 3 NICs on server, how it connecting and communicating with VHD and main reason to use this failover, topology.......? This topic is not so clear for me. Thanks for everything, I love your videos. :)

    hello so i got project.
so lets say i have 1 iscsi target using its DISK as SAN and 3 iscsi initators(2 being the file servers and the other one is another VM for Veeam backup).
i connected all 3 initators to the target and they seem to be working fine. Until I created a failover cluster for the 2 file servers.
when I go back to the Veeam VM, the storage is now inaccessible. when opening the storage disk I get an error with: The requested resource is in use.
My purpose is that the 2 fileservers can have a failover if the other fileserver went down so it could still provide storage for the clients. while the Vm for Veeam would take those storage fils to have it backed up.
    Thanks.

hi sir, I have a problem with this since we you are using 1 iscsi server and when you need to perform maintenance on the iscsi server. or I will not use windows iscsi server and just iscsi directly from vcenter?

Thank you for the video. So this failover is only useful for your iSCSI initiators? Because in the end they are still connecting to the very same server. In what szenario would this be useful?
    Thanks

Could you please help me how to setup up High Available Doamin Controller, I mean if one doamin controller fail the second domain controller will take automatically controll over all active directory services, so that users can login to the doamin.

You just need to deploy another domain controller (Additional Domain Controller) in your existing domain. Both Domain controllers sync with each other and provide load balancing with high availability. You can get video on that topic on my channel.
