The two files in the firmware folder will be a dock file and then also a BIN file BIN file is the firmware update. I mentioned LIB file in the video however, that was a mistake. Also, Godox supported in this video. All you need to do is use the link in the description to download the firmware for Godox.
Hey, thanks for making this video! Just updated my R2 Nano today (11/23/24) on an M1 Mac Mini (2020) running Sequoia and ran into two minor issues. 1. The operating system will NOT allow you to run the R3 program until you go into the Settings-->Privacy & Security Screen. Scroll down until you see the Flashpoint Firmware Updater program listed and there should be a "Allow Anyway" or "Run Anyway" button on the right. I don't remember the exact wording. Once you click on that, you'll be prompted for your account password to confirm and only then will the Flashpoint update program start. 2. Now this one had be sweating for a bit. After connecting the R2 Nano enabling the update feature on the menu as described in the video, I went into the Firmware Update program and clicked on "Update". Again, the R2 Nano was showing "Updating" with the up arrow. The first TWO times I clicked update, the log showed that the update FAILED with no explanation. I was about to exit all the way out before deciding to try one more time and the THIRD attempt at clicking the Update button was able to start the process and the green bar started to move. The rest of the update process continued as shown in the video. Why all the issues? Who knows, my guess is that Sequoia has more security and some other changes under the covers. Hope this helps someone else out! -Pete
