Pearl Harbor Visitor Center
Entry to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is free, including access to two museums ("Road to War" and the "Attack Gallery") Tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial are free.
Reservations can be made either up to 7 days or 24-hours in advance starring at 3 pm Hawaii Standard Time. Reservations are not necessary, but they are recommended visit www.recreation.gov to reserve tickets.
Purses, handbags, backpacks, fanny packs, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage, etc. that exceed the measurements of 1.5" X 2.25" X 5.5," are not allowed at the monument. Clear plastic bags are allowed.

Love the videos! What snorkel gear did you use?
Hi Danielle thank you so much for watching our videos. We have another batch of videos to drop from our Hawaii trip so stay tuned for those. I have linked my Amazon Store front below so you are able to see what snorkel gear we use. We purchased 2 brands and both work great. I will say the Swimstar Snorkel set is a bit better because it comes with a case so it makes it easier to carry your gear around and easy to store as well. How much did you pay for the one day car rental? did you reserve a car in advance?
You have to reserve a car in advance because there is currently a shortage for rentals. A lot of people tried coming in to pick a car the day of and they were put on a waitlist. Pricing from I’ve heard since we went had increased its best to check the company rental website to get the most up to date rates.
Thanks for sharing your experience !!! Looks like a lot of fun . Just to clarify , did you take a shuttle from the airport to your hotel , then rented your car at the hotel ? Hi Jo Ann I’m glad you enjoyed the video. From the airport we took an Uber to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Then we rented the car from Nationals car rent since it’s onsite. We only needed a car for 3 days of our stay and we decided to do it this way because Nationals has after hours drop off. With the after hours drop off we could pick up right when they open at 8am and return anytime after so we bypassed paying for hotel parking (50 bucks a night ) are you staying on Waikiki Beach? @@JenniferTran thank you ! Yes we have flight tickets for July , so we are still in the planning process - we have Marriott points so will try to find a Marriott property on Waikiki:)
@@Jonidan2 nice! Definitely use those points 😊 I highly recommend booking rental in advance as I’ve heard there is a shortage in car rentals which have increased rental prices.

the #1 Ichiban Special at Matsumoto's look gooooood ! btw, in Hawaii, one does not write nor pronounce shave ice in its past tense...always the present tense-- so no 'd' at the end of the word. Fun fact: locals on the Big Island say it inverted: Ice Shave...
