👑 Thank you for sharing. Prince for the value, views and Sunday brunches. Prince Hotel was actually a Kaiser Permanente. Next time visit Halekulani and Four Seasons Ko’Olina. 🤙
It was so cool to find this on my feed. I just stayed at both hotels around the time this was uploaded! I also stayed at Espacio as well. Awesome video!
The Prince is actually in a great location..... close enough to walk to the Al Moana shopping mall & Magic island (so much more serene than Waikiki Beach). Nice comparison 👍
I was thinking you weren’t gonna upload today since I didn’t see you uploaded at the usual time in Sunday. Glad to see you uploaded. I’ve been binge watching your playlists on this channel. The channel is VERY good 👍
I visit the Prince Waikiki regularly and stay there a few times a year (live in Honolulu) and it is a nice place to relax and look at the Ocean while being close to everything. The rooms are great and always try to get Ocean Front rooms in the Premier category. This will put you in a higher floor room and preferably not the rooms facing directly towards the Ala Moana Center and bridge roadway (too noisy for me) as I like to open the room sliding windows and feel the nice tradewinds blowing while sleeping at night. Tradewinds are one of the best things about living in Hawaii and the Prince location typically always has nice breezes and sometimes more windy on the pool deck but just beautiful. If you are on a noiser lower floor, just close your window and turn on the cold A/C and enjoy. Great beds and room decor and the ToTo/toilet bidet is the only way To Go. Once you Go, you will Know. There are toms of eating places all in close proximity and shopping too (especially at the Ala Moana Shopping Center). You can walk or bus close by too. The breakfast buffet is great. The staff are friendly and the co.firt location and view make it a tremendous enjoyable stay.
👑👑👑 Ritz Carlton all the way. Stayed there using FHR last year and everything was perfect, from the level of service to the room quality. Having full kitchen, W/D in unit, and no resort fee also makes up for any drawback.
For on the Beach experiences the Hilton and the Sheraton Hotels offer a lot in Waikiki with beach front properties. However most all rooms at the Price will see Ocean and amazing Sunsets from each room, irrespective of height and room category.
For neighborhoods the Prince is in a better neighboorhood that you can walk at night relatively safely to the mall.and back to the hotel. The Ritz Carlton along Kuhio Avenue is not as safe at night and gets into the "Jungle" of Waikiki. Stay on Ala Moana Blvd and Kalakaua Avenue when walking in general, more people and visibility. Yes you could ride everwhere but walking in Honolulu is great on the main roads.
The Prince Hotel replaced the old Kaiser Permanente Hospital. I have lived on Oahu all my life and have never heard of the "Kewalo Basin Hospital." Wondering where you came across that name.
I think I got trolled by someone else. Cool to see the demolition footage though: ruclips.net/video/Ig3wkAhmWuA/видео.html&ab_channel=KaleidoscopicKenergy
I lived across the street along Ala Moana Boulevard accross the Kaiser Hospital and Clinic in Waikiki. Itwas demolished around 1988 to then build the Prince Hotel.
Do you two try & get a single bed for your first room choice or do you just get the double bed option? I ask, because you’ll have a “living room” with only one bed option. The room will look a whole lot cuter & more functional for y’all. P.S. I’m out in Santa Cruz & if you ever visit, I’d love to show you to around my stomping grounds. BUT don’t post that on RUclips. Would be killer to hit up some killer spots to chow down in SF. 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Prince is a really fanatastic hotel, it was one of the hotels I've been to in the world so I don't get an extravagant view of the hotel industry, however, considering Hawaii to be a main victim of inflation and high prices on a global scale, getting something purely wonderful for only $200-400 is a really good deal.
Both Ritz & Prince are not on the beach. Choose Prince for being closer to Hilton beach area, or Ala Moana beach. Also, Prince is closer to Ala Moana Shopping Center, or the Convention Center. Can’t beat being 1/3 less. For $1000 per night, choose Halekulani vs Ritz. On the beach, through not much sand frontage now, due to rising wave action.
Great video as always, thanks. I wanted to ask if you can try Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu, Autograph Collection in Kauai as it has 4.7 rating and also I am sucker for Autograph collection by Marriott.
All the Prince rooms have sliding mirrored glass windows that you can open and experience a lanai feel and view, really nice in my view. The pool deck is the best Lanai feature for this property, and although the Prince Waikiki has over 500 rooms it still has a charm that makes you feel the Aloha there with the nice staff and beautiful decor.
👑 none. Both hotels are overpriced and the hard products don’t compete with ones in Asia. Stayed at Shilla Hotel in Korea last May and it blew my mind how luxury it was while paying a decent price.

Thanks for the info! Will add those to the list for next time.

How did you like Espacio vs. the two options? :)
@@SebbyFung Espacio was other worldly!!! I dont want to ruin it for you in case you ever go but the service and quality were super premium :)

We liked it :) I think some people might not enjoy the walk, but it was pretty peaceful and a nice way to chat with Player 2 haha

For a FHR Waikiki redemption I feel like Halekulani would be the better redemption? Thoughts?
That was on the list as well (and probably something we'll consider next time!)

👑I feel that Lanais are a standard in Hawaii and while the Prince offers views it seems to lack Lanais.
Not standard many hotels lack balconies
The Prince does offer Lanai Suite rooms, large sized and beautiful ocean views, priced less than the Ritz.

Hi Sebby! Do you edit videos yourself or hired someone? I’m an editor and would love to discuss, if you’re interested

Shilla looks solid for $200/$300 range! Was the pool busy?
Yep, definitely got price shock with Hawaii prices, especially Waikiki Beach lol
Ey my brudda get your money up and your credit card membership reward points up 😌😌
At 11:45 Sebbys thumb cream is freshly sucked lmao idk why I noticed that 😂
