I know we've done a lot of desk setups on the channel, but wanted to share some of the creative processes I go through to get to the final product! There's definitely a lot more planning involved, but the setups end up being way better. Ever since Karl said there's a small chipped on the side of the Apple XDR Display, I always noticed now. 11:51 The baller desk edition should have the Mac Pro instead of the Mac Mini.
In the “budget” setup, I’d swap the MX Master for a brand new Logitech Marathon M720. It has the same ergonomics, 2-year battery life, and most features of the MX Master series, for a much lower price. Also if you don’t want a mechanical keyboard, and you want to save some money - Logitech K380 is a good choice. Same features (for the most part) as the bigger, pricier models, 2-year battery life with batteries included, Mac + Windows compatible, syncs with your mouse to use the same usb connector and syncs connection to the current device if you’re using Logitech Flow. Both the keyboard and the mouse support programmable per-app macros as well. This combo has ridiculous value for money in my opinion, especially in terms of both comfort and productivity.
I know this sounds bizarre but, could you do a laptop desk setup? As a person who doesn't have a pc, I take my laptop everywhere and it would be great to see it in a pleasing way at home 🤓

I am planning to get some grovemade mats, and I thought that it would be a good idea to put a large matte mat with a small wool mat on top. I like how the wool looks but I am somebody who writes with paper and I know that the wool isn’t the greatest for writing. Which is why I think a matte mat would be better. Now the question do you think it is worth it to put an extra small wool on top for my mouse and keyboard or should only get the large matte mat?
These desks look really clean and minimal. Was wondering if you can have too many things on a desk. Do you try to keep under a certain number of things before you’d safely say it’s cluttered?

Get rid of Satechi stuff and the fake plant or the echo show 5. That'll save enough for a good quality iMac desk stand. You must cover the base first before dekking it out with expensive accessories.
The Lambo its quality is very bad, many green pieces are a different shade of green, pieces are missing and sometimes even the instructions are incorrect. Wouldn’t recommend!

i use a a3 folder as a laptop riser - the hole at the back is useful for cable management
