This is the best sound comparison between the three major types of switches I’ve seen and listened to on RUclips. What the heck. I could never tell the difference even after watching so many videos until this one.
Thanks for your help Avi, the renders came out spectacular. This whole project was a pretty huge undertaking from the video to the article. Glad it came out the way it did.
I had no idea keyboards were so customizable! I can tell these are special to you and I totally understand why! You're a man of intention + detail and I respect that. That wood keyboard accent is spot on 😉🙌
Fantastic video, the way you customize everyting based on a single board just shows how incredibly versatile this whole space is. And that black/grey combo looks incredible, I'm definitely aiming more and more towards a Sonnet (vs the Eighty) as one of my next boards, whish it was in stock though 😭
Thank you! To be honest, 75% is one of my least favorite layouts, but as I got to spend time with the Sonnet, it really won me over. Mode definitely made something special with this one.
As someone who is new to the hobby but also bought a hot swappable keyboard that seems to need quite a bit of modding and changes to get to the sound profile I’m looking for this succinctly answered a lot of my foundational questions! Thanks!
