I've been using the Freewell magnetic filters. I went with them at first because I didn't want to have to deal with the cross polarization of VNDs. But then I've recently been wanting to get the Nisi VND. Sometimes at weddings doing run and gun I think it would be better to not have to deal with popping them off and on to switch between stops.
Ah sweet! Yah I have the Nisi Swift True Color Vnd and have just felt like my results haven’t matched reviews here on youtube. I seem to be getting more color shift and vignetting. Still super useable but was surprised. You are welcome to borrow it from me sometime if you wanna test it out!

For the lock down interview shots, the nanlites will be amazing. Thank you for the suggestions. 1 note that could help us watching, is if you could be so kind to title the items in future videos. For me it helps with memory. I know it adds a bit of time to the editing and I will watch your videos either way, but, it would be nice to have that for people's memory.
Nice video, digging the tripod! I have one that's not as nice as that but it's heavier duty than any I've had and it's so nice to have a tripod that you can comfortably put your camera on securely lol And I even added a set of dolly wheels for it that have brakes so it's extra easy to move around, like how you got wheels for your c-stands 👍 and that backpack is sick 😯 btw have you ever filmed with anamorphic lenses/adapters? I mentioned the idea back on I think your Sniper lens video, but if you like the character of those lenses, I think anamorphic would look awesome too for your style of work 👏
That's dope. I haven't gotten into anamorphic's really at all as its more of a niche thing that costs money and isn't super versatile but i'm sure one day the right project will push me in that direction!
@@blasepivovar I hear that lol sadly for me I like the anamorphic look so much I wish I could film practically everything with that look haha but yea they can be so cost-prohibitive, when their "budget" lenses cost as much as some premier spherical lenses it's just 😵💫 haha
just picked up some K&F ND's for the Sirui Snipers, was looking into magnetic VNDs or NDs (I would have to buy 3 magnetic bases tho & idk if there are any magnetic filters for 58mm)
Great gear list. I have the X-H2s myself and am in the process of getting another one. Also have the Sirui Sniper set as well. Have you made any videos with them going hand held yet with a cage set up? I have a trip coming up and don't want to take the gimbal so I can cut down on set up and also take photos.
@@blasepivovar Anytime! That's great. I mean I like my gimbal, but I love the freedom handheld gives me. Used to shooting HH with cinema lens not AF lens. So should be quite interesting tonight!

I got notified about it so went ahead and tried on my 23mm. So far, not so good as now the lens causes the screen to blink on and off repeatedly. Sent a message to my rep with the issue so hopefully will all be resolved soon
Could you share where you got the foam cover for your MKE600 from? I have the mic and hate the Sennheiser branded foam cover but haven't been able to find one that is short enough not to cover the buttons. Thank you! :)

K&F Concept filters have been good for me this past year, a little colour shift but they are about as budget as it comes

Could you use a step up ring then the magnetic base then the ND?

Firmware update for the IBIS issue with the Fuji sirui sniper lenses just dropped today.
