    • @gustavoalonsolopezwolf9098
      @gustavoalonsolopezwolf9098 6 лет назад +9

      john smith MMA fighters get too cocky about their take downs but they forget to protect the most sensitive part of their bodies their head. they rush for your legs a smart man that is fast enough will see it coming and will immediately make more space leaving the mma fighter vulnerable for a knee or a kick to the face with 50 to 70 percent chance of an instant knock out. With an MMA fighter since they're much faster then a normal guy when it comes to take downs you'll have to react a lot faster as well. To beat an MMA fighter since they are a mix of martial arts from brawling, kicking and ground techniques they know all but master of none. You will have to have speed, boxing skills better then them, Martial arts and know how to defend yourself on the ground. If you're a better fighter on your feet and know how to defend yourself on the ground MMA fighter will loose the fight.

    • @lionsden4563
      @lionsden4563 6 лет назад +3

      GustavBalturWolf79 lopez,
      Nope. To beat an MMA fighter is to be one. Also, the technique the above will not work. It's almost embarrassing.

    • @gustavoalonsolopezwolf9098
      @gustavoalonsolopezwolf9098 6 лет назад +5

      K Ismail and that is why MMA fighters will loose because they think their technique is the best they close their minds to limit themselves hence why you will never see respected martial art Masters compete in MMA fights.

    • @lionsden4563
      @lionsden4563 6 лет назад +6

      GustavBalturWolf79 lopez,
      They are asshole in every disciplines.
      Nope. The only reason you won't find most traditional martial art masters competing is because they are not a fighter. When they fail, they will loose their students and their Mc Dojo.

    • @gustavoalonsolopezwolf9098
      @gustavoalonsolopezwolf9098 6 лет назад +4

      K Ismail Underestimating your opponent is the worst mistake you can ever make. Don't let your cockiness take control of you I've seen your fights your ok but never think lower of any experience fighter some martial art masters are full of shit and they suck in a real fight but not all some have been training since they learned to walk with techniques that can kill a man in a second. have a good day

    I'd like to see what happens when he keeps pressing forward with his tackle and go for the single or double leg take-down. I feel like with the forward pressure of the tackle putting him on his back with that method would be impossible if the guy is stronger and bigger. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looked as if he stopped pressing as soon as he got hold of his arm and neck. I would think you'd want to use his weight and forward movement to bring him down.
    I'm just here looking to learn.

    hello master
    I have a question ?
    How would you like to defend yourself against one or more attackers when walking with your little dog? or if you go with your sister's children in 1 year in one's arms?
    I thought you give a lot of good and you are good at explaining your techniques and posture.
    I wish you all the best in the future and I hope to meet you one day before moving on to afterlife. And just short, what's the difference between wing chun and wing tsun?
    good day to you and your family 🍀

      @Kitsune-Moriko 6 лет назад +1

      Luk Dim boon Kwun :D If a person has a weapon best thing is to run or get one yourself. Failing that if you can get inside the weapons attack then a disarm may be possible. Depends on the skill of both fighters. I disarmed a guy with an axe, but he was threatening me with it not striking and he didn't expect me to attack in the way I did. He thought he was intimidating enough that I wouldn't fight back. If I stayed in the swing arch of the axe then the danger would have been greater. By moving in close he could not use it to attack.

    I will never pick on anyone's style or talk shit about another art, because anyone can say what they want and it really is the person useing the art, how they were trained, what their intention is Street fighting is very different from the ring. Most MMA Fights train for the ring and cage, that is what they are training for. yes they have techniques that are good fr the street, but well in the street anyone with common sense does not want to be rolling around on black top or gravel. So when I have taught and also when I have trained for self defense you never want to go to the ground and the first thing we do when we get on the ground is to find a way up.
    Maser Wong's techniques work if you follow the principles behind them and they are nothing new, they also work when you are defending yourself because in the street their are no rules, you go for the eyes and take them, you go for the throat to crush it are damage it, when they can't breath they can't fight, when they can't see they can't fight you go for weak are of the legs knees, ankles, small bones of the feet because if they can walk they can fight. You ro for the fingers and joints of the arm, because if he arm is broken you can throw a punch.
    So not knocking other styles but when you train to fight in the ring, and train hard you will fight as you train, this is taught in the military as well they train to fight and fight as they trained its how the brain works and when you are used to rules, then you tend to train for them if that is your sport. When the shit comes down in the street you will fight as you train. KT3 Wing Chun, and what master Wong teaches and practices is not for the rin or cage, its for the street. First thing he also talks about is situational awareness and don't be there for the fight if you can avoid it, because no one really wins. if you are a reasonable person you do not want to fight, but we live in an unreasonable world and sometimes we have to defend ourselves. We Train hard,, Live clean, and Fight Dirty, and well in the street there is no rules.

    Hopefully a wrestler will respond to me cause I'm legit curious
    So in my karate school we have a tackle defense where you basically take the attackers momentum from them tackling you and step to the side and throw them at same time.
    I'm by no means a good wrestler but I defenitely fam double leg probably alot of people and this movie I sorta attempted a shoot on this young guy in class and he used the same method and it worked it's more of a redirection /step out of the way but also grab and throw. I wasnt exactly trying hard to take the guy down but at the same time I know he wasnt trying that hard to do the move on me either. Anyhow wondering why mma fighters dont do this when a guy try for a take down.
    Hopefully someone has some knowledge
