100% agree with your take there at the end and is pretty close to what I've told my guild. I'm holding pretty much all pulls except VCs until the EX2 change drops as it will obsolete most of these units very quickly. If/when they ever get an EX2 upgrade, they will most likely be rerun. Gumi doesn't have a good track record in my experience from years of FFBE, of updating old collab units.
I could be wrong, but I think he used his second devout skill on Celes because she has hate and takes priority over the other allies, otherwise, like you said, he might've gotten stuck using the same devout buff on every ally.

Do we really need to summon for these units? they are level 120 and already lacking, once we get the level 140 event these units will be even less useful over the 140 units, I personally I will get the vision card and the slime and call it a day, I will admits these units look cool but is not enough for me.
@@mysidia Honestly, I think the devs knew that westerner's just don't care enough about DQ to buff these units. Even out of my nerdy friends who like FF, only one of them has played any DQ games, and he's pretty middle on them.

Seeing how strong Resnick can be for her element and her rather camp-y AI, it's nice to know I can run him on his Main Job for offence or Sub Devout for buffs. Makes him versatile for the ways I plan on using him.
You hit the nail on the head. I'm an ice main, and I'm not even considering pulling for him because he won't improve ice's position in the meta at all. I'm sad to see ice get such an ugly and frankly underwhelming unit, but I got pretty spoiled last year, so I can't complain too much.
I plan to give the DQ Bros. the 9 step 1st 6 steps treatment they are good novelty units to have will they shift the meta? No imo not even Passaro when Yuffie slides his way with our many options to deal with evade
Interesting you brought up Lara Croft in reference to reruns. With Squeenix having sold off the Tomb Raider IP, I'm pretty pessimistic that we'll get another collab with her.
I'll be passing. I have recently built ice but it's still not a top element for me. Plus like you said he doesn't seem worth it regardless. I may go for his VC so I don't miss it. I'll be skipping Psaro and his VC cause I don't play fire
If they offered him super cheap I could see rolling him just for the novelty and maybe some PvE use, but assuming he's going to have standard Limited 90-Cost banner treatment he's just a really terrible value proposition. Pretty sure most Zomas you see running around are going to be from people who got him randomly pulling for Psaro.

I think the major difference between Zoma and Psaro is that Zoma arrived and didn't really change the ice meta at all. It's still some combination of Velis, Alaya, Eliza, Snow, and W. Ravi for limited. On the other hand, Psaro is one half of the only Fire meta comp that's existed in ages

I like pulling limited collabs. Always try to pick one but underwhelming units and terrible banners >

Honestly no one but fans should summon for either unit. I was shocked that Zoma didn't receive GL buffs to make him more enticing
A straightforward answer for pulling Units... No.
VC... Fire Mains yes pull Psaro's Card and the other cards is debatable depending on needs.
