Peter, I watch your channel because you are a rare specimen: you treat everyone with respect, you are consistently honest and open, sane and well informed.
Pete is one of the few people who say “let me be 100% honest” and then they’re actually 100% honest ☺️
Only when the camera is on 😉
That was my 2016 Chicago Cubs mini bat the older gentleman bought. I'm glad to see it going to a good home.
Go Cubs Go!!!
Your employee who does the price checks is doing a good job. He's very thorough. Props to him.
“ Commander and Chief “ 🤣😂🤣😂
Oh damn the commander-in-chief is back from Afghanistan lol
Magellan was my first gps system for private use , it was available in 1997 and had a chip to be placed for every location, like Asia or Africa etc .
As a Brit who loves Yorkshire tea, I hope you enjoy it! Its the best tea we have over here
And it's about £8.00 a box now!! It's now actually cheaper to buy booze than a good cuppa 😂
@@dannygahan4718lmao na it’s cheap that small box is about £2
Always drinking Yorkshire. And never paid £8.. Who you buying your tea off 😂 ill happily sell you two boxes for..lets say.. £14

I'm UK too, all tea is crap coca cola ftw
Nice tea. Strong.I use it here in UK.
It's good to see people still buying music CD's. When my favorite bands release new albums I still buy the physical music CD's.

why is that particularly good? to remind you of the early 2000's?
How about the band getting at least some of the money rather than giving it all to Spotify?
“Totally up to you my friend” love it when Pete says that ❤😂

I sold real estate before Garmins became common. Nothing like pulling out the Rand McNally street map books. First you had to look up the City, then find the index to the street, the find the block on the grid, the find the street, then sorta look and see if you recognized a main st and figure out the best route.
If you were new, or not familiar with a particular area, sometimes it took a while.
I was a courier PT while going to college - I knew that map book like the back of my hand - I can't imagine plopping that down in front of most people today and get anything besides a blank stare.
Almost sounds like a Thomas Guide map...
My life as a teen lol
Great video like always Pete. A long time fan and subscriber since around 80k, back when u filmed mostly picking at peoples houses rather than the shop. Love the content and always wait for the next. From Brooklyn New York love ya Pete
You're an inspiration in terms of consistently being a decent person. Keep being awesome.
I cannot stay away from your channel keep missing the cat and parrot .they are a tranquil reflection of the way you interact with your customers keep the good work up
Dude spent 30+ dollars to internationally ship 2 dollars worth of tea🤣dedicated fan
It would cost £8.15 which is around $10.
@@weighdog5412 it cost me £6.15
I was like....
I was going to say the same, I am from UK and sent a small light parcel to Kentucky and it was £35, the tea is £1.99 in the shop.
@@BruxaPumpkin The Tea was £1.75 the shipping £6 as i chose snail mail. I wanted to send him a little taste of home as a thank you for the entertaining videos.
Driving in traffic with a novel sized map book open in the passenger seat trying to find your way around the city...fun times
Yorkshire tea is the best, fresh boiling water, 3 minutes for the bag to steep in the water, bit of milk and some sugar - heaven.
sugar? Wow...just no! Milk was already terrible
☕️ Coffee rules ☕️ Tea yuck 🤮
Earl Gray is better than Yorkshire.. Iced is better than hot.. Just put 4 teabags into a gallon jug of warm water.. Then place it outside in the sunlight for 4 hours.. Bring it inside, remove the teabags, and put it in the refrigerator overnight before drinking.. If you like to put ice in the glass with your tea.. Use 5 bags instead of 4 when you make it.. I prefer my tea unsweetened, but if you like you tea sweet.. Add one cup of sugar to the gallon of water and stir it until it dissolves before adding the teabags..
i prefer a good sugar free RedBull
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 🎉 🎉🎉🎉🎉P G TIPS😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😅😅😅😅😮😮the best
Love to see you joking around with the first guy, seems like you have a fun banter together
nice maps! As a home health nurse I used to navigate the freeways and byways of Los Angeles using a Thomas Brothers. I swear they were more legit than the gps apps we have now.
I still use my Thomas guide…
I remember renting die hard for the PlayStation back in the day and loving it so much because that was a great movie and then it turned out to be a pretty good game as well. Back in the 90s the world wasn't ruined yet or at least we weren't aware of it it was.
Hello, I used to work on map product teams for Garmin and the automotive industry at their supplier, called HERE Technologies. The original map products you're referencing were certainly out in the early to mid 2000s but gained momentum into the timeframe of 2008 and on, as you reference. Our product teams completed the definition of pedestrian & public transit data integration into digital maps around that time and carried on into the various offerings you see in the market today, with competitors & other common mobile providers using the same product requirements defined by the conglomeration of manufacturers.
Glad you liked the |Yorkshire tea ;) and yes Arthur very big fan what's $30 for the entertainment I have had so far watching these videos :)
Hey Peter, keep making these quality videos, we enjoy them very much! God Bless till we meet again!😅
Just love that watch. That's so lovely.
Love Ruby and your cat 🐈 great video's!
The Commander in Chief is back!
They must have let him come back for Easter.... crazy how nice the military is!
Ya, wasn't he supposed to be in Iraq and Afghanistan?
@@Silarous I think he did 3 tours in each, right?
@cliffordreynolds1835 yes! I believe so.
Are those military issue weapons he’s trying to sell ? 😂
I really enjoy your videos. Ty.
Thank you great videos.
The Standard sign you showed on the map thing well im sure thats also the Amoco symbol, 40 plus years ago my Dad used to be a tanker driver for them over in the UK. I still have some of the things he got from them like tie pins and badges. Great video
I feel for the guy who had his storage robbed. I had my storage broken into as well, they cut my lock off. I miss my record collection the most😢
Love the tea. I'm from UK too and that's a very well respected brand. You pronounce it Yorkshur by the way just for info.
Would like to see more buying. Love the channel, nice and relaxing.
I think the guy that you bought the guns from was the "stolen Valor " guy that said he was going in the Army as the Commander and Chief,,,,,
Haha good call
As entertaining as ever. Love it.
Pete youare the most fair easy going real guy good dude thanks for content
Pete always looking stoned out his mind "love it..!!"😊
Richard is collection store credit slips until he has enough to buy the business from Pete!
You're right, $200 over 11 years might buy him the toilet faucet
God Bless 'em- Richard is in it for the long haul
*The guy talking about 40 to 50k stolen out of storage is hard to believe that he was targeted unless it was his drug stash…😅*
I just love a good story that doesn't make sense😂 90% of the time if it doesn't make sense it's not true 😊
I think when people flex just a little to much you can guarantee they are full of it.
Not if his unit went up for auction and he paid it off before it sold. That's advertising for thieves
he set it up as a insurance scam lol soon as he said that i knew it right away have someone "steal" your stuff so you can claim insurance through the storage company sketchy guy right there he looks it
@@ICYPROFITS good point...I used to watch a few channels that bought storage units and would mention particular ones they would bid on be it in person or online and there was something in the photos that caught their eye. I didn't even think about that aspect....I just thought it was on odd flex.
Love the old maps, in the early 90’s I traveled back and forth between International Falls, Mn and Big Pine key,Fl always with an Atlas in my car and would travel different routes each trip so I could see new sights!!…once I did get off course and I pulled over and examined the map and found a faint line on it that I gambled and took to save me 40 minutes of driving
Keep up the informative videos
I don’t care what anyone says, Bobby Knight is a Legend!
Using a map like that when you needed to find a town you had to find a letter and a number to find the square thst the town would be located. Like G-2. So you would look for G and go across to the area of 2 and there you go. It was better having a AAA Triptik that you had the whole route there and back without trying to deal with a large size Mal like that.
Boy, theres a brand I haven't heard of in years. Thexton used to make specialty tools for automotive industry, carburetor, ignition, brake tools, cool stuff thats pretty much antiquated these days.
Ruby was pissed when Pete let the Walter Payton walk out the door..🤔🙄😂 That was a fantastic piece to have and will definitely go back up over time..😍😮 Love that.. Take care guys..👍❤🔥👊

Lol, I live in the UK. A cup of Yorkshire tea with milk and hobnobs! It's a simple pleasure
The maps remind of my grandparents. ❤
Simon sent you some proper British tea! It's all I'll drink here up in Canada.
Is it quiet in the shop ? no video's up-loaded for ages. Hope you had a good holiday 👍 UK
Best guy right here ☝️
Yorkshire tea! Lovely. The Rolls Royce of Brit tea.
Commander in Chief showed his face again he was supposed to be overseas. I guess those bb guns is were he got his sniper skills lol hopefully he makes a better commander in Chief than our current one.
Haha I recognized him too. Nice catch😂
Me three lmao two tours haha
As a born and bred Yorkshireman a visit to your emporium is now essential knowing you have Yorkshire tea . Tea bag first, boiling water added, leave to brew for 2 minutes then add milk and sugar as required ...Eey up lad , a real cuppa !!!
You can also remove the initials with off deep woods insect spray too
Yorkshire tea is tops m8. Enjoy 👍
I love your videos. I love your shop your store the way you handle your customers and you were required knowledge of selling and reselling. It takes years to perfect and there's always something new to learn.
😢
Yorkshire Tea is bloody lovely. Enjoy. 😎
7:13 My first GPS was in a 'Palm Pilot' hand computer.
90s version of a Smartphone. Then i got the small 'TomTom One' with Speed-cam Warning.
TomTom was in color and nice maps. Palm Pilot screen had Green/gray, no color, and roads was a line.
It was around same era as them Phone Pager/Bleeper.
Ah, the Palm! I can't tell you the hours I spent learning that "squiggle text" to enter data😁.
The customer at 10:00 looks like he could be Pete's long lost brother!
Edit: Another one of Pete's long lost brothers at 23:20...except this one might be his twin! lol
Simon Cowell sent you a Yorkshire Tea from UK that's so cool !!
Watched for years. Pete is the best in business! I’m bummed I’m so far away!
That Thexton 313 Superpunch is available online for around $8
I love maps and would say I’m a excellent map reader but I can do land navigation like no other
Not too many yrs ago as a trucker i had to plot my whole trip route and write down the turns and actually LOOK for street and highway signs.
For most of my paramedic career I drove around with a big thick map book on my lap, flipping pages to figure out where I was going!
Are we going to talk about the creepy guy who came in and bought a complete kidnapping kit at the beginning?
The extension cord, nail gun, and a knife?
I guess they thought it was rope lol@@dansmith9686

Hey Pete, just wanted to let you know, if you didn't already, on most surfaces, dry erase markers will remove permanent ink, regardless of how long it's been there. I acquired a dry erase board that someone had written on using permanent marker many years before. After cleaning the thick layer of dust, I used the dry erase marker to cover the writing and rubbed it right off. I had learned the trick just before the getting it and was pleasantly surprised to see it work. I figured I'd share in case you encounter a surface that may be damaged by other methods.
AAA TRIP TIk was my Garmin in the 80's and 90's
I really like that grandpa just doing it for something to do it seems.
You should pay people 3-5% on store credit for each year held longer than 1 year to entice people to refrain from using it. Also the longer they keep it the more likely they will forget it. I'm reading the stats are 6% of gift cards are never used and Amazon alone had 2.8 billion dollars worth of unused gift card balances in 2018.
ha ha I have that punch but it is priceless, I use it on hyd cylinder lock rings ...
I remember the Magellan GPS from 1997. I got my first GPS in 2005 a TomTom for $430. It would always fall off the windshield because it was so heavy it was like a mini bubble screen TV
Pete, that’s the best t bags we do here. Enjoy
I remember the AAA map from 1987 that we used to go to Memphis Tennessee
Enjoyed video
Love from the netherlands❤
This is so much better than Pawn Stars or any show like it , he should have a million subs at least
The crossmen has rebuild parts for 7-8 bucks. Worth more than the other two guns too.
Those NES games are so awesome, ahhh good childhood memories 😁

To funny Honey thought the rustle of paper was her treats and she was behind you!!!
Love the new video. Watch all the Contant. Any possibility we can get rid of Otto? It's completely annoying.
Fully agree. The otter part is silly and unnecessary.
Especially since he sold it and don't even own it anymore
Trust me Yorkshire tea is the best
When I first moved to the Chicago area I carried a 300 page map of the city and suburbs.
Talk about GPS in the 70’s
I walk into (circuit city) A Garmin in color 3 in screen I think . I pain $1000. Wow not like now.
When I had my GPS in my car, GMC 2005 back then nothing was free just state roads parks you had to get into a different zone and you had a paid to unlock it. Basically a salesman luxury.
The commander in chief is back 😂
